If you are ordering books and use a military APO address, get books elsewhere if possible. I ordered books in August of 2021 (it is now October) and I still havent received any of them and we are a month into the semester. I emailed them for help and get the basic information on tracking which I can look up for myself (Shipped VIA UPS). I asked about a refund and no one answered that question.UND Bookstore, if youre going to mail books to military APO addresses, please change your shipping methods to USPS, NOT UPS!!!

DO NOT GET YOUR BOOKS FROM HERE! Not only are they mega expensive, but every time I’ve ordered from them something bad has happened. From them giving my book away that I had ordered 2 months in advance to a walk in customer, to refunds that they said they would put through that were never processed, it seems like any way I can get screwed in terms of textbooks I am.

Kind of a mess. I understand its COVID times and things are more difficult, but I know someone who ordered a book online to be picked up there, got notified it was ready, and when she went in, they didnt have it. Then, when she found the same book on the shelves within the store, was charged almost twice as much for it, even though she had proof of the cheaper payment through the website. I dont know how this place does it...

Found everything I needed for class

My wife and I just went to this bookstore to attempt to pick up a REQUIRED textbook for her law school courses. We ordered the book on 7/31, it was noted as in transit with a tracking number. When we clicked on the tracking number on 8/6, it stated the book had been delivered on 8/3, but it was not changed in the order list. On 8/7 my wife went to this store only to be told her book hadnt been processed. We went today and waited over 45 minutes while 4 staff members attempted to locate the delivery. During this time we asked to speak to a manager only to be ignored the entire time we are there. This is wholly unacceptable behavior from an institute of higher learning.

Never answer the phone, the textbook manager is impossible to get a hold of, and they can’t resolve digital textbook situations. There is a lack of communication within the bookstore, I spoke with the manager and she said after their sever comes back up to call back, and if she isn’t in, she will be sure to tell everyone how to resolve the situation, when I called back, they had no idea what I was talking about, and told me to call back when the manager is back in. Lo and behold, they are not answering their phones and I cannot get a hold of the manager.

Tried to see if they could quote the value of buyback for books over the phone to see if it was even worth making an 1 1/2 trip. They were unwilling to tell the average value over the phone. Poor customer service the textbook department is a joke.

Great selection of UND t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweats, jackets, coffee cups, blankets ... you name it!! For the students they have a great selection of academic books and of course they have a great coffee shop with yummy treats!

University clothing, gear and nick-nacks integrated with a bookstore (both academic and regular Barnes and Noble). Pretty good selection. So-so prices. Missing a few items youd expect them to carry, like postage stamps, for instance.

Although this is a University bookstore, they are by no means friendly to students. My order in total was 13 books all of which were novels, not textbooks. One would think it would be a somewhat simple task to order and gather these books within a reasonable amount of time. However, after a month a half after ordering my books, I had only received 8 of them. It has now been almost 4 months and 2 of my books are still to come and have somehow disappeared from their store and were never sent to Wilkerson. If you can, please avoid using the UND bookstore and do yourself a favor - use Amazon or Amazon Prime.

Wonderful and friendly staff. The bookstore is very busy at rush, if you want to combat the never ending flow of students order and/or pick up your books ahead of time. Also if you plan on picking up your order in store, make sure that the bookstore has notified you that your order is in, no one wants to wait in line for an hour only to find that their books arent in.

Nice place and you can get just about anything you need for school. They have textbooks and school supplies along with school apparel and other small things. That being said, they are over priced and textbooks often are put on back order.

Was told since their system wasnt working that I wouldnt be charged for not returning my book because Im in person returning my book, got charged for not returning the book. Sent an email several days ago about it with no response, am now in a fight with them to get my money back through my bank. Dont rent books from here, better off buying them since u will be charged for them anyways.

Great place for UND gear, books, and much much more. There is a cafe inside and anyone can shop there.

Waited in a line of at least 40 people with only one cashier while I saw 4 or 5 people in the back.

Grateful for personalized service fitting my graduation gown and cap. Also their books have pricematch with online stores, and they ship when I cant get to the store. Love my #UNDproud Hoodie too! 💚

Spring semester 2018. I ordered books well in advance. Also, fall semester 2017. Both times books did not arrive on time, they were ordered 2 weeks before start of semester. The long wait times to get books, pushed me to use Amazon. I used this book store all of my undergrad days, sorry to see it go downhill. Will only buy limited things here from now on.

Excellent bookstore. We were in town for a family reunion & wanted a t-shirt from UND since my father in law attended many years ago. First time visit. Very impressed with the variety of merchandise. Very well laid out. Very clean. Super helpful & friendly employees. Even has a little place to grab a drink & a snack. Great job UND!

I can always find what Im looking for, and of not there is always a polite staff member to help me. If for some reason they do not have it, they will order it right there for me. From textbooks to the latest GoT, they make it easy to shop.

Having grew up in GF and not been the UND bookstore in many years, I was impressed with their overall selection of apparel. However, if I could give one piece of advice, it would be to ensure you are carrying a good selection of medium to heavy weight pullovers for the fall season. Always think hockey and tailgating for football. We’re lucky to have had such nice weather for this years’ tailgating (2017), but more times than not, it can get fairly chilly, especially in the early morning hours of tailgating. Nike and Under Armour carry some of the best pullovers in the business. But, people love Nike. Being a pullover junkie, you would sell a ton of Nike pullovers if you ever decided to carry them.

They have a great selection of non-school books, good coffee, and a wide selection of fighting hawks gear. Staff is pleasant and helpful.

A good bookstore with a wide array of books, textbooks and class supplies, including a section on Aviation Supplies and Medical Gear. The bookstore also comprised of lots of UND gear, with shirts, hats, jackets and mugs, with alot more scattered around. The customer service is great, with a knowledgeable staff, but comes at a price. The bookstore also has a in-house coffee shop with good coffee.

Almost every time the workers are extremely rude and unwilling to help. The prices are ridiculously more expensive than most other places. A worker told me I needed a 400$ book package and I wouldnt be able to do the course without it. The instructor didnt want half of the things she sold me and I wasnt able to return them. Avoid shopping here at all measures.

For school merch its a good place, but just buy your books online. The wait times at the beginning of the semesters are long and the basic supplies are pretty overpriced.

Nice place, but like all colleges it is expensive. Sad for last visit, because of son graduating.

Each time I have been in the UND bookstore I am treated disrespectfully, especially by their young manager. I expressed to them that I felt disrespected and that I planned to report to the person above him about the poor respect towards customers and I kid you not the manager responded with: fine and I dont care.

Great UND gear and great books!

UND book store has messed up my book order probably 1/ 3 of the time. If you are getting text books here they will cost more and you will get them much slower. If they say that your book is being ordered ask for a refund because it is going to take an extremely long time for them to get the book. I suggest that you use the website Chegg it is half the price and fast.

Buy from either of those two and youll get:1) Prices that are easily 20+% cheaper than UND bookstore.Amazon textbooks new will be about $25 dollars cheaper compared to the bookstore. Amazon and Chegg also do rentals that are as simple as dropping off a package at the post office. The renting service offered from both parties are also cheaper then UND bookstore.2) You will get the textbook in under a week.On 4 different occasions Ive been waiting for a backordered textbook for anywhere from 3 week to 8 weeks (HALF THE SEMSETER). 1 of those textbooks was even from UND so they just needed to print it off.Their Price-match comes in the form of a gift card that you must spend in store on items at full price.

The map gave right direction but I have to circled more.

Higher prices than Amazon or other rental services, they oftentimes do not have the book available, and when they finally get it in they do not bother sending an email or calling you. I have been waiting for a month for my textbook, only to find out it came in a week ago.
