Great and friendly staff. They have the classic stuff and the new stuff. More than just video games. You name it, they got it. A+++ They are better than Game Stop!

I was in here a couple weeks ago with a DVD i had bought online to be cleaned. They discovered that the disk was not dirty but instead was burned. Despite my insistance, they did not charge me since they had not cleaned it. Honesty and ethics are important to me in a business so it meant a lot to me. I will definitely continue shopping here in the future.

I personally love Rock 30. They have a wide variety of games for a reasonable or low price. I prefer them over any of the other gaming stores because their customer service is friendly and very welcoming. Great place to get all your gaming needs. I came in about a week ago to pick up a cheap Xbox 1 to play my games on until the new Xbox comes out. As soon as I walked in the door the employee working the register immediately ask me what I wanted if he could help me with anything and as soon as I told them what I was looking for, he found it and got me on my way. Great place.

Super friendly staff. We have bouts where we are in there constantly. We know one of the employees by name and theyre extremely helpful when you have a question or arent sure of where something would be!

Think of everything terrible about GS (you know who Im talking about) and make it 100% better.. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.. Relaxed atmosphere..I like stopping in now and then just to see whats new, and usually find something I cant live without..Would recommend..

Ive been going to rock 30 for a while now cuz gamestop customer service at game stop is rude an obsured if ya find a article for a game online they like to argue with you an try to be in the right i will never go back to gamestop ever again im a loyal customer of rock 30 now

Went into this establishment a few months ago, as I had received terrible customer service at GameStop. I got some of the best and most friendly customer service Ive ever gotten from Rock 30. They helped me trade in some of my unused games, hardware, etc, and I was out the door in 15 minutes tops. Gave me a fair deal, and answered all my questions. I recommend this place to anyone whos a gamer.

The prices might be a little on the high side, but the staff is attentive, helpful, and they have SO much vintage gaming gear. Love it, Ill be back frequently.

Rock 30 has an unmatched selection of games covering everything from classic to current generation. Excellent place to find those rare games and accessories for classic hardware. Trade ins will get you more credit than Gamestop too.

I started this review allowing a maximum of only three stars due to the terrible customer service, of the remaining stars I deduct one for each product I buy that does not meet the quality standards I need due to prior mentioned customer service.Decent products, awful employees. If you are a long term competitive player of any game and need the hardware you purchase to meet high standards, I highly recommend avoiding talking to the overweight bloke with very long brown hair and brown eyes (apologies for the crude description, I didnt get a name, JL are his initials on the receipt). During my visit I expressed my concerns with the various defects in Nintendo GameCube controllers and I was responded to with nothing but lies and uninformed reasons that he understands why the controllers have issues, which clearly demonstrated he did not know what he was talking about. He refused to acknowledge he does not know everything on planet Earth and decided to argue with me instead of trying to help. He also claimed to play the game and go the events in Grand Forks, yet while I attend all Grand Forks events I have never seen his face at a single one.I asked if I could test the controller with my own Melee setup that I happened to have due to being traveling home from an event with the game. This would take no time out of his day, as the store was far from busy, but I was only given lazy excuses as to why he wouldnt let me test the product such as, Weve tested it already. and Then we would have to let everyone. (because everyone hauls around full Melee setups apparently?) Im sorry, but the combination of lies and false information about the controllers and the competitive scene around my game has already assured me that whatever tests you have performed do not include the dash-back consistency information I need about the controllers.Of the two controllers I purchased, only one is acceptable for competitive play, the other must be returned. This is about what I expected due to the randomness of these controllers quality from the factory, but could have been easily avoided in the first place with better employees.

I went there for the first time one week ago to fix my ps4, it came back fixed but the disc drive was broken. Fortunately, they said they are sending it back to fix it free of charge. Im really disappointed and I have a disappointed child that this happened in their care. But its nice that they offered to fix it for free, since I just dropped 140.00 to fix the hdmi port on it which is now fixed. Now I have to wait another week for an additional repair that shouldnt have happened. Bummer, but nice customer service.
