These guys aim for exceptional customer service! I started shopping here just over a year ago due to being a new home owner. Ive purchased a lot of equipment from them and the service I have received has been more than what I was expecting. You will not get this kind of service in the big box stores!Their service department is amazing when you buy new or refurbished equipment. They will spend time with you to make sure you are knowledgable about how everything works.Reading through some of these 1 star reviews, they probably would have a change in heart if they just pick up the phone and ask for management. Over the past year there have been some mistakes made, which can be expected every once in a while, but not one of them went uncorrected. In fact, Ive never even had to get management involved in any of them.If you walk in during busy hours it may take a little time, because they take their time with other customers as well, but once someone does get to you, they make it their priority to make sure you get all your questions answered. Very professional crew! Absolutely love shopping here!

Drove up to GFK to check out & demo the Ego Zero Turn Z6 lawnmover and were so impressed, we bought one. Have 12 hours on it so far & it lives up to everything advertised & has been said about. Also purchased Egos 18 chainsaw. Its as good if not better than my other 28 gas one. Ego does not disappoint. Our friends were so impressed with the Z6, they bought one too. We appreciate Darins product knowledge and follow up calls keeping us informed about delivery. Hes definitely an asset to Acme. Thank you for such excellent customer service.

Great service today from Diane at the counter and Ray in Service. My 6 1/2 De Walt circular saw had what I believed to be a frozen blade bolt...what it was: I was turning it in the wrong direction....the blade bolt has a left hand thread. Ray had the bolt off in a flash! Thank you Ray and thank you Diane for getting me to Ray! You made a Great sevice team! Really appreciated your efforts! Acme is the best!

Horrible experience today. My lawnmower quit, so I called and asked if they had a Makita electric in stock. They said they had and would hold it. I used my lunch break to pick it up. I arrived, and it was a used demo model. It was already assembled, and no box available. I had no choice, since my lawn is out of control and It is the one that I want. They offered no discount on the used demo model that that they lured me there by withholding information and wasted my time. I will go out of my way to not buy anything there, and I will tell as many people as possible my story. The customer isn’t right at ACME. No doubt a reflection of the greediness of their management. It all filters down from the top.

We have never had such great service! We live quite a ways away and our salesman Darin, is always looking out for us. He calls us when theres a sale coming up or if there is something he thinks we may be interested in. They ship out our products super quick. Prices are decent and the options are endless! They sell broken/refurbished generators from China. As soon as you want to send the item back, they claim its not possible because the shipment contains fuel and you are subject to a $500 charge. This scam often is enough to deter customers from sending the item back and stuck with a piece of junk.

Best place to buy tools. I have to limit my visits to control my tool purchases. Also they have a great selection of tools to rent. Why do l purchase from Acme, as they will repair or replace, when purchased there.

Bought a Honda Snow blower 10/23/2020, while I did not get the one I had ordered due to no fault of the store, Joel held a upgraded model until he could verify my order status. They also have safety equipment, clothing, job lighting, radios you name it. They also rent tools and equipment if that suits your needs better. Equipment can also be delivered to your site if you prefer.In all, this place will have what you need for your project, big or small. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the store is well laid out and not cramped.

A fantastic place with nearly everything a person could need, as far as tools are related.Plus, while I havent used the feature; they offer rentals of various equipment from forklifts to Zamboni! Okay, no Zambonis, but they have a nice selection.

Great place to buy tools in GF. You might find them cheaper online, but they offer great customer service. and stand behind their products. I get my saw blades sharpened for $15 a piece, which is a great value considering the $100 price tag of a new saw blade. This is the store where the professionals shop.

This pertains to an online purchase. While the process to purchase items was great, prices reasonable - their fulfillment failed. Shipping policy clearly available - they seem to forgot that policy.Called customer service which was friendly and very helpful told me everything was good and in stock the previous week but it had not shipped out and did not know when it would be shipped out. I am disappointed that I lost two week of having a tool I needed. Order was canceled.

Scored on a drill/impact combo set for $149. The best part is that the price was supposed to have been for black Friday. Yup, someone put the price a little too early by mistake. What i liked even more is that it came with a hard case. Merry Xmas for me :)

Picked up a Milwaukee chainsaw here. Had a great deal which included an extra battery for a great price. This place often has great deals which are difficult to find on these quality tools. Definitely recommend!

Was directed by Toro to bring my lawnmower there for a safety related recall and they would not work on it since it was not purchased there. Counter guy in the service department needs work on his customer service skills. I sent Acme an email with no reply except now Im on there email list for sales, etc.

11/26/2018 - Was told by the sales rep (at the Plymouth, MN store) over the phone that the online promotion of 18% off, up to a maximum of $50 off, probably should apply to the purchase of a Dewalt DWS780 mitre saw at $499.00 but that I should come in (since I was going to pick-up the unit) and talk with either Brett or Tim. I drove the 35+ miles one way and was told by Brett that He would not honor the $50 promo saying that the price as is was a good price. I did not purchase the saw from Acme as two other local retailers were selling the saw also at $499, and the first retailer I had asked about the additional $50 off said that they would honor the promo and the price. Spoke to Rudy Simondi from Acme but that discussion did not have any positive results either. I have purchased other products from Acme, but the Powermatic cabinet saw (approximately $3,800) that I was planning to purchase from them will be bought from some other saw retailer, not Acme. By the way, we have purchased previously from Acme a 3-section 32 extension ladder, a Makita drill/driver 18V combination set, a Makita magnesium circular saw, and a Makita grinder.

Not a bad place all in all, but plan on rechaining down the skidder you rent they dont have a clue, ALL the weight on your pickup and dont bother tellin them anything it doesnt help, had the actual owner roll up while it took them over an hour to chain it down wrong tell these guys how to do it because the week before someone had actually broke there hitch in half and still wouldnt put it where i told them, made it two blocjs and almost wrecked from the truck jumpin all over from bumps, 2005 silverado 2500 HD 80,000 miles they said maybe your pickup???? Retards!
