I purchased a car that Alpine Autohaus has done some engine work on last September. The bottom end of the engine locked up in June and I had it towed to Alpine Autohaus. They have offered to help with repair because I had driven the car less than 5,000 miles. I recommended this shop before this incident and will continue to recommend them. If you find a good, honest, caring repair shop you stay with them. I am a customer for life of Alpine Autohaus.

Finally! After years of taking our mercedes sprinter van to an overpriced, condescending dealer we have found Alpine Autohaus. Not only are Colton and Shane (? sorry if I got this wrong) pleasant and knowledgeable, they appreciated my business. Within 24 hours they had investigated the DEF system and had determined that no fix was needed. Even though they had every right to charge us, they didnt. Thanks gentlemen! You have a new customer as well as anyone else I run into.Sincerely, Patrick Brighton, M.D.

I’m totally happy with the way my 325xi handles, after the gentleman at the autohaus had fixed my shocks& control arms. I would recommend anyone who has a foreign automobile to go to Alpine Autohaus. They are professional, timely, and for any future issues with my vehicles I know where I’m going for repairs!

Alpine is the only place to have service done on your vehicle. They do repairs on our Audi, Porsche which only use certified parts. It saves from driving to Denver when Alpine can do the same service. I’ve never had any issues. Everyone there is kind. Sean has excellent people. I appreciate how they will go out of there way to be helpful.

Honest, professional, knowledgeable. The crew at Alpine autohaus continues to go above and beyond my expectations. My older, high mileage vehicle had a number of issues present over the years and every time I was presented with options in a timely professional manner and treated respectfully. Recently I had the opportunity to purchase a new (to me) suv from out of town. Alpine did a pre-purchase inspection and gave me a list of pros and cons. They are the best.I highly recommend Alpine Autohaus to everyone.

Alpine Autohaus towed in my car from the dealership and performed a head job to remedy the intake valves which bent when the timing chain slipped off. The dealership would only do a full engine replacement, AA was the only one who seemed trustworthy and could do the head job. They are pretty good at communication, it was done reasonably on time, and it seems to have been good work. Highly recommend.

Great shop. Im a car guy and do all of the mantinence on our four vehicles and one motorcycle. BUT, when youre on vacation 1,100 miles from home and your turbo charge pipe explodes on your BMW you need a shop that knows what they are doing. I did my reserach on local shops that specialize in BMW, etc and after waiting only one day for a new part, I limped the car from the Moab area to Grand Junction. Alpine Autohaus did such a great job with the repair. A+ Highly recommend. -MM

I’ve been trying to pick up my vehicle and an invoice now for nearly 9 days I’ve been blocked by the owner it seems as though he is trying to keep my Mercedes-Benz sprinter which is sad sad sad. I will update date this today if I’m able to retrieve my car. Also very important here is that he is not following what the law requires which is also sad.I’m going to be following up with the attorney general because this kind of stuff can I happen especially during the Covid pandemicUpdate:Retrieve my car interestingly enough there was a $2000 storage fee added but it was removed when it was realize that it was an error so so far so good

Honestly, have never made a review as Im not the review type but Im out of options at this point. After 10 weeks with my 1972 Mercedes 350sl roadster in his shop with a fuel pump issue (I even installed the fuel pump), my car still has not been worked on. We have had to check up or call to see if anything has been done repeatedly. We have never received any follow up unless we left messages. I was now just told by the owner that he has to put more lucrative cars in front of mine because he is short on techs and then told me the best he could do is at least three weeks from now we might get it in, but no promises. When I said that this is getting unacceptable and what does he suggest, he said and I quote wait until I slow down or come get the car and take it to Denver then hung up on me!. Now, I used to run a shop with classic car restoration and know a little bit about the industry. I got several great recommendations for these guys on this type of car but my jaw is still on the floor. Ive never been treated this way by any business in my life. Ive been extremely patient but the convertible season is nearing an end and I have been able to drive the car zero times this summer. I can in no way recommend these guys!

I have never written a review on here before, but happened across these guys and had such an incredibly warm and friendly experience that I have to share it for other folks passing through Grand Junction who dont know where to turn other than Google Maps for car help!Arriving in Grand Junction on a cross-country road-trip screeching noises from our aging E30 BMW became un-ignorable. Fearing a throwout bearing problem I searched around and found Alpine Autohaus nearby. It was Thursday night, which meant by the time they opened the next morning any parts that needed to be ordered wouldnt show up until Monday. Nonetheless, I drove over Friday morning to see how long it would take to get us back on the road.Pulling up out front a technician working on another E30 came out to greet me and when he heard my story offered to coordinate (if necessary) a diagnosis and then ordering of parts to be sent to one of a couple shops they know in Denver for the actual repair, further along our route. After taking a quick spin he and another tech concluded that it was not a throwout bearing, but just some loose belts. They jacked the car up, and tightened the belts in a few minutes. While it was up, a few drops of coolant dripped to the pavement. Without prompting, they brought me a jug of water to take with me to replenish coolant on the road, names, addresses and numbers for two shops in Denver who they would trust to swap out the gasket or the pump depending on what the issue was. They wouldnt even let me pay them for their time. We headed off into the mountains and Im writing this from 300 miles down the road having not heard the screech since. If youre looking for help from some super earnest, thoughtful guys who love cars, look no further!

I had undoubtedly the best car breakdown experience of my life with Alpine Autohaus. Passing through in my VW Westy with plans for adventure, I blew a big leak. Not only were they able to immediately help me. Not only were they dog friendly, people friendly, fair priced and knowledgeable. They flexed to my circumstances and threw me the keys to their personal car to use while I was stranded. Who does that???!!! Unbelievable. Simply amazing. I also can tell you that I witnessed similar acts of kindness being paid to other customers as they came and went. They run this place with their heart, equal passion for people and doing a great job. Thank you and I’ll never forgot it.

I cant say enough good things about Sean and the work he does. He fixes things right the first time and doesnt take you for a ride doing it. He doesnt replace what doesnt need replacing, and doesnt try to scare you into larger repairs. I have an old Audi and while things go wrong from time to time, its never been anything going wrong that Sean has worked on (save for normal maintenance items). His shop his clean and orderly. But most importantly, I feel like I can trust him. As a woman, Ive had mechanics in other areas try to scare me into huge repairs thinking Im gullible and dont know a thing about cars (I know enough to know when Im being scammed). He doesnt do that. As far as I can tell, he treats everyone equally and is honest about everything. He sets the standard for how mechanics need to treat customers. I recommend him and his shop without hesitation.

On a roadtrip from San Diego to Denver, our 04 Passat TDi had engine trouble just outside of Green River. We made it to Alpine Autohaus Ltd and were delighted by the service. The tech, Bob, was quick and knowledgeable, offered to run a diagnostic immediately, told us several possible causes for the problem (nothing serious), and offered us suggestions of how to deal with the problem if we ran into it again on the road to Denver. We are very impressed, this is an excellent business!

Gave this shop a try as its one of the only European repair shops in Grand Junction. When discussing the work with the owner I was very clear about what my car needed, the potential difficulty of working on an older Audi and the timeline in which I needed the car back. He reassured me that he personally had experience with older Audis and that he didnt see foresee any issues. Dropped the car off in July and then proceeded to wait through 3 months of frustration. Shop was terrible about keeping me informed of their lack of progress or about issues they encountered with the job. I routinely had to call the shop to check in or wrote emails to inquire about status. Shop then informs me that one of his younger techs had been put in charge of the job instead of him completing the work as originally implied when discussing the project. Young tech proceeds to struggle mightily with the work and racks up hours of labor without getting anywhere. Finally get a call from the owner to say he needs money for the techs labor to date and that they did not know how to complete the job. After weeks of frustrating back and forth, poor communication and terrible customer service I told them to stop all work and arranged shipping for the car to be sent to another shop in Denver. I paid the $600 labor charge for the work that was done and asked them to ship the power steering parts that they removed to the new shop that would be finishing the project. New shop starts to go through the parts and find a major part missing that was paid to be removed by Alpine. Part was a very hard to find Audi OEM power steering pump. I would avoid this shop for any big repairs and would not trust them with anything more complicated than an oil change.

It’s hard to find a good mechanic to take care of our 1985 Westfalia Vanagon. Not only did they have the right knowledge to quickly diagnose the problem and repair it, but the staff was very kind and caring. Sometimes when you travel, you feel a little unsafe about the place, but from the minute we came there I felt I was in good hands. Left the car there late in the afternoon, got it fixed before noon the following day. Thanks a lot!!
