This was a wonderful place to buy a car, the overall experience was great. No shady business, just kind straightforward people. The car I bought is a great car and the price was as well. 10/10 would recommend! So glad I could buy my car from them!

Flip -the dealer who helped us- was great. We found the vehicle we were interested in online and showed up to test drive it. He offered to show us other cars and when we declined he didnt try to upsell us, he just asked for what he needed and started drawing up paperwork. He was very friendly and one of the least aggressive car dealers Ive ever gone to.

Extremely disappointed in Affordable Auto. Chose to purchase a 2004 Jeep Liberty from them back in July, and six weeks later the engine blew at 134000 miles. Flip, who happens to be the owner, contacted me and told me that although the engine blew less than 3,000 miles after purchase that we were still responsible for the remaining balance which happened to be around $2,500. My wife contacted Flip and told him this was unacceptable for a vehicle that we just put a little over $1,800 dollars into. After a little hustle and bustle, Flip then agreed that he would replace the engine and add the cost, and labor onto the back end of the balance owed. Less two days later the vehicle would crank but not start. Flips mechanic Zach determined that the alternator was bad, which Flip replaced, once again adding it to the end of the balance. Even after the replacement of the alternator the vehicle had trouble starting, prompting Flip to then replace the battery. Still issues with the Jeep starting, we were told to bring the jeep back to Affordable Auto so Zack the mechanic could look at it. It was found that when they replaced the engine, Zach didnt ground the battery causing a no start. A week later the check engine light came on, at which I went to Auto Zone and had them run the codes per Flip. Auto Zone told me that cylinder one of the engine was misfiring. Once again we were told to take the Jeep back to Affordable Auto, and have Zack look at it. Supposedly the ignition coil was the cause for the misfire. This was replaced and we were told to bring it back if anything else needed worked on. Again we were charged for the parts, and labor. A day or two later the check engine light came on again. Again cylinder one was misfiring. Flip told me that it had to be the spark plug. At this point I was over it. With all the work and whatnot that was done to the Jeep our balance for a $4,995 vehicle was well over $7,000. A few days after the check engine light came on for umpteenth time, I was driving home from work when I noticed a loud whining sound coming from the the steering column. I drove the jeep to my mothers house, at which I popped the hood to find the power steering reservoir empty. I figured that maybe Zach forgot to refill it when he replaced the engine. This didnt happen to be the case, as I was told by Flip after once again taking it to Zach to be looked at. I was told the gaskets to the power steering pump were bad. Was charged again for parts and labor. A day or two after this the same problem occured, at which point I called Flip and told him I was done. I could no longer continue to drive a lemon and I wanted out of the contract. I had no want to pay for something that was going to cost me well over what I agreed to pay to Affordable Auto. I strongly suggest you reconsider doing business with these people.

Love these guys. I have bought 2 vehicles from them. They are kind and courteous people. Anytime I have ever needed my car to be serviced Flip tells me to bring it in and they work on it right away. He has always been willing to work with me. I would recommend buying or servicing your vehicle with them any day.

Best dealership I have been to! I would definitely recommend it to anyone. I bought a used car through them for a very reasonable price. They make sure you know everything about the process so that people like me who are buying their first car are confident and comfortable. The car I bought had an older headlight that they intended on replacing so after I bought it they called me in the next day and replaced it for free within a couple of minutes. After everything was said and done, they sent me fudge brownies with a personalized thank you card which shows you just how much they care about their customers.Thank you for all the help, Phillip!Zack B.

My husband and I were looking for a new van because we keep needing to fix our other one with expensive repairs. They were one of 3 places in town that had the specific van I was looking for and it was at a good price. When we took it for a test drive we noticed a couple things were wrong with it and told Flip. His response was basically if you buy a used car, youre going to have to get some things fixed. We should have walked away then as we have been through that spiel before at another dealer. Regardless of it being a used car, I should not have to sink hundreds of dollars into it for repairs right away, Im already spending thousands of dollars on it. So, we end up buying the van with the promise that we will bring it back when his mechanic is back to work in a week. Next day (Saturday) the A/C goes out. My husband calls Flip, he tells us to change the cabin filter, so we did. It was disgusting (should have been checked before going to sell the vehicle imo). That, of course didnt fix the problem and Flip said he couldnt do anything until his mechanic got back, so we got to drive a hot car in 90+ degree weather for a week (yay). We took the van to our mechanic and he said it was the compressor. The crunching noise we were hearing was the rear motor mount and it needed rear brakes (overall not too bad considering there are a lot of miles on the van). At least $1000 worth of parts and labor. We tell Flip. All said and done he did fix some things once his mechanic got back, including an $80 handle I had broken. He replaced the A/C compressor, but not the condenser (should always do both at the same time) and filled it up again, but his mechanic either over filed it or under filled it, so we are going to have to get that taken care of ($50+). He did the brakes and an oil change and said all the motor mounts were good and he had actually replaced one of them at some point before we looked at it. Obviously didnt test drive it to listen to the sound. The key fob we would have to fix on our own. Next day I took it to brakes plus to check the A/C because it kept switching on and off quickly and had them check the motor mounts. They said the front motor mount needed replaced and you can see the engine moving when accelerating. Their quote for the motor mount $339. So tomorrow we are going to a 3rd mechanic since our mechanic is busy (4th if you count Affordables mechanic) to see what the deal is with the motor mount. So all in all, Flip did fix some things on the van at no cost to us (Im very happy to have A/C in it!), his mechanic doesnt seem to be very thorough and definitely did things as cheaply as possible. Flip really seemed unhappy about us asking to get it all fixed and made us feel like he wont help us out in the future. If the crunching noise had been taken care of and the A/C had been fixed properly, I probably would have given 5 stars. Would I recommend GJ Affordable Auto? No way. On a side note, his wife is really nice.ETA: Took the van on vacation to TX. A/C went out right after we got there. His mechanic never rewrapped the wires. Compressor went out just like Brakesplus and Antonellis said it would. Spent another $1000 fixing the A/C and renting a car. Flip wont do anything for us because he doesnt have proof despite the fact that we have receipts and I told him he could call the mechanic that worked on the van in TX. He said he wouldnt call them. Dont just walk away from this dealership, RUN!

I went to these guys to look at a 1990 4runner about ten days ago. now, ill start by saying the KBB fair purchase price for one of these in GOOD CONDITION is 1500-1900. Flip, the owner, was asking 2500 and it was honestly maybe in good condition but i did find a few things wrong even before a test drive.then, i asked if i could check the oil, and Flip, apparently the owner, looked at me and said the oils already been checked.what does that matter? im a potential customer!! so after i say something like well im going to get a paper towel if you dont mind he pulls out a business card, rips me a corner, and says this is good enough. and then i check it and theres not enough in it and he has his mechanic get some more.its already been checked. HA! HAHA!!awful experience. reminds me that some of the mom n pop dealers are just dishonest.
