This place is huge! They have a lot of tools and other equipment at great prices. It’s the supermarket for all who love to work with their hands. I bought some sea foam that was on sale for $6.00. Regular price is $11.00 everywhere else. I’ve heard of the place before and this was my first time visiting here. I was impressed and I will be back

Lou was busy when I came in to purchase a pressure washer and he still found time to help me with my questions and even going to the back to find the rest of the pieces needed and helped me load it in my truck. Had an issue with my pressure washer, it was in the shop for more then 3 months. Store manager Logan was very professional and understanding. He reduced the labor and part cost....I was very pleased with the outcome..My pressure washer work very well...I highly recommend this location for all your tool and mechanical equipment needs.Mr. Turner loyal customer.

Cold AC, Very nice and helpful employees and they carry large sizes of tools and specialty stuff that you cant get at the big box stores. They are also a Proto distributor so you can order made in america tools through them. I wish they carried more American products in store but overall good experience.

Store personnel needs to do a better job of communicating with their customers about warranty coverage on items being repaired. If I would have been notified up front that my repair was most likely not going to be covered by the warranty, I would have bypassed the repair shop and just replaced the carburetor myself for far less $$.

It is a nice store for tools and trailer related items. It is not a hardware store. Good selection of air compressor, power washers, sprayers, pumps and such. As expected there are hand tools, power tools and lawn equipment.

Will never shop here again. Sew-on 3 - 8 - 21 went to Northern Tools to buy a pressure washer. First went to the one in Hurst, was told they only had two and they were both floor units and suggested to go to the Grand Prairie location which had 14 units. Then was instructed that to get the price advertised online I would have to purchase this item and then wait 2 hours to come and pick it up in store. So I did as instructed no big deal went to pick up my power washer everything cool. Home read the owners manual followed all the instructions to the T filled it up with oil plugged in the hose let the air come out of the hose you know everything you do. Turn the engine on everything ran fine but got no pressure from the hose. Decided you know this may be partly my fault maybe I didnt read something correctly Let Me Wait and Ill try again today. So I wake up read the owner manual again watch a couple YouTube videos make sure everythings plugged in correctly exact same problem. So I thought let me call the store maybe they can help me out. Ask to speak to the manager explain the manager the problem she said yeah hold on let me put you on hold real quick I need to pull something up then a gentleman came on into the phone and said he was a technician what could they help me with? So I explained the situation to him and he said oh yeah theres something on the back that you need to adjust its not allowing the pressure to come out so I tried that still nothing. Let him know but still nothing was happening he said well Id have to bring it in and have him take a look at it real quick and then we could go from there. Ask him to speak to the manager once again, inform me that thats their normal policy on new equipment they have to have a technician look at it to make sure it was in a manufacturers defect or something along those lines. So I had a few things to take care of them first before I could make it to the store arrived at the store about 4:35 or so the young lady at the counter told me I needed to sign the paperwork that saying that Im going to drop my equipment off and theyll let me know when its ready. I told her I would like to speak to the manager of the manager that I spoke to earlier came up and told me I have to drop off your equipment I told her Well maam when I spoke to you earlier you told me just to bring it up have a technician look at it and then we can go from there tell me all of our technicians only work from 8 a.m. to 4 so nobodys here to help. So now I have paid $324.74 to have a brand new piece of equipment checked out to see what the problem is instead of just exchanging it for one of the other 13 pieces that they had in the store to have a happy customer return home with equipment that they can use. So now I have not only wasted my gas to come and buy a piece of equipment that doesnt work I have wasted my gas to bring it back and drop it off to waste my gas to come back tomorrow or the next day to see what the problem is. This has to be one of the worst experience I have ever had buying equipment and I will either stick with online purchases Lowes or Home Depot

I was in the store for a good 30 to 45 minutes looking for a specific tool two employees walked by me didnt say a darn thing but helped other customers. I was all over the store trying to find this one particular tool and a young man by the name of Edgar asked me if I needed some help and he noticed that I was all over the store. I told him what I was looking for couldnt find exactly what I was looking for but got something else I think that Edgar deserves to be an assistant manager

Good web site shopping experience

One of the most organised places Ive ever shopped. I asked the guy for something I saw online and they only had one but he knew exactly where it was and I was out the store in five minutes.

I bought my husband a lime green brush to wash his truck with. Its supposed to connect to the hose. Putting it on...it fell apart and broke and squirted water everywhere. Waste of money!!!

If I could leave 10 stars I would! Me and my father went in looking for a specific tool and we were helped by someone called Elias and he was absolutely amazing! Very friendly and professional he offered us help and got us in and out of the store in minutes! I’m recommending this place to all my friends and family. 10/10 experience.

Never got to go to this location the one time i did (Wed) it was open from 8am-10pm??!!. Only this location!! What place closes at 10am on a Wednesday only staying open 2hrs unless youre serving breakfast or something?!! Never heard of a tool place closing at that time ever!! Good thing I didnt do in store pick up with what i was trying to get or Id of been screwed!!

Had a great experience at the store. Was able to get in, find the tools I was looking for, and get out to work quickly. The short hispanic girl manager was extremely helpful as was everyone else that helped me. I will definitely shop here again when in the area.

Just came from there to return a part that I had for literally 3 hours. They charged me a 15% restocking to return no matter if I did an exchange or not. I got my money and left. I get it, it’s your policy, but Home Depot would of refunded me the full amount no questions asked. Fool me once...this review is to hopefully save someone else

This was the 1st time in a long time that I had visited this location. This location is always clean & organized There were plenty of people walking around to ask if people needed help locating items. Its ALWAYS so much to look for & the prices are reasonable. Of you cant locate in store, try going online & its usually available.

Greeted at entrance and offered assistants. Great kid/employee.

Alex was on the spot ready to help. Cashier was nice and cordial.

I believe they must have new employees from all the bad reviews, as we had such a great experience yesterday. We ended up there cuz Harbor Freight was beyond awful/joke awful/ are we on candid camera awful. We don’t normally shop at either, but will be back to Northern Tool in Grand Prairie. We were greeted & helped & offered additional help. The place is clean & well organized. Great job Northern Tool!

Called received a message they are open but they could not answear the phone currently. I got in my car and went down. They where closed. I did knock on the door and they said they where closed currently i told them thier amswearing service said they where open and they blamed in on corporate.These people are lying about being open and getting lot of people to travel down to thier store in unsave conditions they should be criminal y charged in my book.

The Guys in the Grand Prairie Service Department are Great. They helped me out the same day with replacing multiple parts on my pressure washer (UNDER WARRANTY) after the manager at a different store wouldnt step up and do his job. I have to drive past 2 Northern Tools to get to the Grand Prairie locations, but thatll be my go to Store from now on.

Super quick

I really wanted to like this place because I love tools but the people or unfriendly and the customer service is terrible. Today, I waited in in line for at least fifteen minutes to exchange an item. The cashier asked me if I would go get the new item and I agreed only to return and be told by the cashier to go to the back of the line again for another 15 minute wait. Other customer service friendly establishments allow you to finish the exchange when you return with the item vs standing in line twice.

I found this tool I needed and the store website showed they had 21 in stock. So I drive 45 min just to find out they dont have it and there out of stock in the store... Im going to stick with Lowes or Home depot

Hope that you find what your looking for at the store on your own. Any one to help is hard to come by, but when you do, they provide results.People are knowledgeable and know what to do. Its just finding one. What ever you do....Dont come to the distribution center for a will call. A forklift driver lift driver was more help than the EMPTY! will-call office. Come one people get it together. Only buy in store provided you can find it, or are lucky enough to be offered help.

Poor Customer Service!Drove 45 mins one way to purchase a Stihl backpack blower which showed in stock on their website and was told that they showed they have (2) in their system but couldn’t find them in the store. They then suggested I buy a different model that was comparable and managed to produce a unit. Then someone else from the store walked up and said that they couldn’t sell it to me because it was a “store unit” even though it was brand new in an unopened box. Pretty much a garbage experience from start to finish. 1 1/2 hours of my life wasted trying to buy something from this retailer that they clearly are not interested in selling. Seems like a flawed business model to me. I won’t be back.

My wife refers to this place as my favorite place to shop...I correct her by saying that it is ONE of my favorite places to shop.I like to shop around on-line and do the research before choosing the best-fit (in regard to tools). I have chosen the Northern Tool brand without regret for many purchases such as welding mask and gear, compound mitre saw, air compressor, castors, specialty tools, etc.I recommend viewing their inventory on line first (easy to use ), look and/or ask for their coupons that apply. They often have $20., $10., and $5. off total purchase.I do Not recommend purchasing gift cards ! Been the recipient, Huge Hassle !

I bought a truck rack online, went to the store, on Sunday, my only day off, they said I have to call Monday thru Friday, get a code and being the stuff back. Really bad experience. I had an accident and I cant carry stuff.

Today was not a good experience, I was ignored when I came in, when I was finally asked to bee helped they said they didnt have what i needed with no options. I asked for options and the man walked me to any aisle. This is all we have is what I wad told. They actually did have other options on another section. He was to lazy and uninterested in helping. Whats worse is he was a manager. Needless to say I wont shop here again.

Awful, wont go back ever. Who ever is in charge of this place please fire everyone who works at this location including yourself. Needed help with some equipment I recently purchased, told to come swing by to the service department, I get there and I cant find anyone for literally a good 8 minutes, I then see the guy who I think I talked to on the phone and he says the service department in closed for the next couple of days. I even asked if he could come out real quick since I had the equiptment in the car. He said no and there was nothing he could do. Luckily I kept my cool and just left. I think thats 3 one stars in a row!! Keep it up guys!
