We had two new units installed in our home and its been about a year and everything is running good and smooth the technician have come out to do the routine check ups and everything still running like day one… technician Johny installed our units and had a great experience with him while he was at the house.. 100% recommend BV to anyone.

Our AC as not turning on, and we had had problems with our AC since we moved into the house in 2018. We had the air handler replace once and A coil replaced twice (the second time under warranty). The air conditioner was draining my pocket. I told Mr. Voung about all the problems that we had had, and that I was certain there was a leak. He listened to me patiently and went to check the unit. When he came back he said: Freon pressure is fine, no leak. Bad wiring. I said I was doubtful but that I would go along with his assessment, and we struck a deal: If his fix lasted I would give him a good review. And so, Here we are!BV Air Conditioning & Heating are not only good professional techs, they also have the best prices around Grand Prairie. Believe me I know.

My AC unit needed to be replaced. BV Air headed towards my home as soon as I got off the phone with them. They showed up earlier than the expected appt. They gave the best price and was able to change out our unit within the next day. I highly recommend their company.

We had a 25+ year old system finally give up on us 2 weeks ago and called BV A/C & Heating to come take a look. Two technicians came out same day inspected the system and afterwards recommended to replace the system (which we already knew would be the likely answer). The owner, John, came out later on the same day to give us a quote on a new system and to inspect the duct-work which was also 25+ years old. His inspection was thorough and afterwards showed us photos he had taken of how the old duct-work had either deteriorated or been installed sub-optimally.He then went over our options and gave us a quote for various systems with different SEER ratings. John provided great information and when we told him we needed to think about the options, there was no high pressure selling. He said he understood and respectfully left for us to contemplate.Having had A/C work done for another home before, I could already tell his quote was fair, but to be sure we got another reference for HVAC service from a trusted friend in the construction industry. The other HVAC company also seemed honest and capable of quality work, but their quote was several thousand dollars more than BVs.We decided on BV and to have the complete A/C system replaced with new duct-worked installed. John again came out on the same day to finalize the paperwork and said he would have a crew out the next day to start work. He said that they might need two days to complete the entire install, but would try to finish in one day to have us up and running with A/C in this oppressive Texas heat.The BV crew showed up early the next morning and immediately started work. As others have mentioned, they laid down tarps inside the house where they needed to and in general, worked diligently and respectfully of the property. The BV crew also took the time to answer questions I had while they were installing the system. They ended up finishing the entire install with duct-work around 6 PM and had the A/C up and blowing cold air! At some point, John had showed up to the worksite to work along side his crew and as they were nearing completion, went over the installation with me. We even climbed into the attic space so he could go over what they had done for the duct installations.So how is the new system? FANTASTIC. The majority of the house is now an icebox. Except...the master bedroom which has always been on the hot side during summer due to it being located almost as far as it could be from the air handler, high ceilings, and almost no insulation between ceiling and roof. When we mentioned this to John he suggested moving the supply manifold closer to the master to see if that would improve things and if not then to give him a call back.We gave the new A/C system 2 weeks to try it out but still felt the room was a little to warm. We called John again and told him that the master was too warm. Within 2 days he had two more technicians come out to cut out a new vent in the master ceiling and install a new duct line from the supply directly to the master. Happy to report that now the room is nice and cool like the rest of the house! BV and John did not charge extra for this additional vent and duct to be added.I know this review is a little tl;dr, but it is a very comprehensive review of what actually transpired. I can say I am very happy with the professionalism of BV and their staff, the quality of their work, and the integrity of their owner John. I would certainly recommend to anyone who needs HVAC services to at least give BV a call for a consultation and quote. They will not disappoint.

BV installed a mini split several months ago and did a fantastic job. They were prompt, courteous and professional. Several months later, one of the units was dripping water and BV immediately came out and remedied the issue. I would recommend their services for install and repair.

I am 62 years old and I have not seen a company this impressive in a long time! They respond quickly. They are very professional with yes sir and no sir. They wear uniforms. I had a complete AC system installed and their price beat the competition by a wide margin. During the installation they used drop cloths on my floor and cleaned up when finished. I honestly cant think of one single thing that they could have done to impress me more! They have earned a customer for life with me! Great job John!

Professional service technical team .

This business replaced unneeded parts and misdiagnosed my AC problems. The owner assigned an unlicensed technician to work on my AC, he burned my original part (electrical shock) and I had to pay to replace the part he burned. After they left 2 hours, AC stopped working, I called, and the owner blame it.... old AC, I said since its old and having problems that why I needed a service. I called another technician to check out, the later technician reported that BV A/C worker replaced unneeded and wrong parts and misdiagnosed issues. I ended up paying for their mistakes. I want this company to be responsible for their service. By charging excessive prices to parts and performing wrong service... It is very unfair to homeownerAdditionally, the owner said he would come to my house to take the parts out. I told him coming to my house without my consent it would be a trespassing. I do not have confidence to do business with this company

I am a first time customer with them who did my homework and searched for the best company. I found them highly recommended on Nextdoor and decided to call them. Im glad I did and boy were they patient with me. I had a bad experience with a different AC company and so was hesitant to believe anything I was told, but John from the company was very detailed and was easy to talk to. We had frequent communication back and forth for several days and he answered all my questions, detailing the service and pricing. John responded to me during the weekend on both Saturday and Sunday!I had my 13 year old AC system replaced by the crew yesterday and they were punctual, professional, and very considerate. They laid out a tarp all the way up the stairs to my attic and swapped out my indoor and outdoor AC system. Its true what other people on the review say, they do clean up after themselves. They even turned on the system and waited to make sure the entire system was working and fine tuned.Later I checked on my systems warranty and found that they had taken care of all the paperwork too!I am extremely satisfied and happy with the quality of the system and the thoroughness of the service. BV Air Conditioning & Heating has gained a loyal customer and I will rely on them from now on for my service needs.I highly recommend them and will recommend them on Nextdoor as well. They are the real deal.

The owner of this company has been to my home 4 times in 1 week. Because my until keeps freezing up. He just keeps thawing it out and adding freon when theres an obvious leak. His name is John and he does not handle business professionally. First time he said dont put ac below 70 now he says dont put the schedule below 75. He has yet to check for an obvious leak.

***** Steer Clear from this company ****BV HVAC company is inexperienced and does botchy work. BV replaces a 1990 HVAC in a renovation of mine . The new unit kept tripping the Breaker Box and shutting down the HVAC . HVAC 101 is to know to call a Licensed Electrician . (which I had my own electrician on standby and they never asked for assistance)They charged me to replace electrical parts at the Breaker that were out of their field. Had to come back to my Renovation 4 times before I call my licensed electrician aboard.Then the condensation pump they installed the drain line, but they didnt join with a pvc pipe and just truncated the copper pipe and burned it with heat,* At the Elbow the pipe starts to leak, I had to re-open the wall and have then come out... BVs solution was to put Gorilla Glue on a copper elbow. This isn’t holding either.I am going to call a licensed plumber and have the pipe corrected and send the bill to BV.I am a fair person so before writing this review I allowed them to come out and fix and then gave them more work on another condensation pump, he didnt want to go into the attic to see where the condensation drain line was draining to and told me that he cant accept responsibility if the new drain leaks in the future- BS your hand touch it you will be responsible. Then thought he was going to charge me the full price of the new install.Steer Clear from this company
