This is a woodworkers paradise. New ownership too over in January, and theyve been making great improvements. Dont let the building fool you, inside youll find a shop, mill, and retail limber and millwork that will serve any purpose you can throw at it.They do great work, can knock out limber orders for builders and carpenters, and have a really exciting inventory for woodworkers and weekend hobbyists. I found a great deal on a spalted maple board that Ive been able to turn into several wood bowls in the lathe.The folks there are talented woodworkers who are willing to spend time with you too help you understand what youre looking for and help you find what you need.Very excited to find a place like this so close to home!

Will never go back. Called a week prior to visiting the store and was told they had what I was looking for. So I made the 70 mile drive one way and when I told them what I was looking for, the best customer service I could get was look behind you. The guy there never even bothered to get out of his chair.

Everything you could ask for. I rarely write reviews but this place deserves it. I am a hobby woodworker who mostly bought materials from lowes and menards. I was a bit unsure of what I would find when I went for my first time and to my delight there were more choices than I had time for. To make it even better, the folks who work here are really excellent at giving genuine guidance on projects and options. Tontin will be the only place I buy lumber for the foreseeable future.

First time buying hardwood from a shop like this and didnt know what to expect. The owner took time to talk with me and explained his plans for making buying lumber even easier for hobby woodworkers like myself. I will be going back.

Ridiculous. Minimum $150 for just a simple clean cut across a 12 inch diameter log . Thats pretty much every contrary to what they post.

I’ve purchased lumber from them recently for multiple projects and also had them surface 6 of my live edge slabs. My only concerns are that prices are on the higher side and they never know what they have in stock.
