UPDATE*I just want to say big thank you to Garret Gillespie for coming to pick up the bike and helping resolve my issues and even helped me reapply a loose piece of plastic on the gas tank. I was told he did the servicing on my bike to insure that it was done right. So thank you Garret.Freedom came and picked up my bike from my house and once to their shop immediately offered to put a new rear tire on for me, and did an oil cycle and flush to make sure there was no metal shavings/residue from running without oil. I expressed my concerns that this incident may lead to potential mechanical problems down the line and I asked Freedom if they would be willing to put a warranty on the bike because of this. I was followed up with an offer to cover half of their $995 two year warranty, which I declined and said that I would not be paying anything out of pocket towards the warranty since it was their mistake. Derek was able to talk with the owner and have them cover the whole two year warranty. Would have been a five star experience for me if they would have offered the two year warranty to begin with as that should be the minimum anyone would expect.PS: When apologizing for what had happened and explaining why it did, I got a quantity over quality answer. They explained that their mechanics are really busy and overwhelmed and in a hurry to complete things because they are overbooked. Any place that values quantity over quality, especially when working on things that could cause death if not done correctly, shouldn’t be a place that provides that service.———————————————————————————Bought a 2013 GSX-R 750 with 893 miles on it and rode it home about 5 miles away (5/16/21). The very next day (5/17/21) I rode the bike for approximately 80 miles and my oil drain plug came out while I was riding on the highway. I noticed white smoke coming off the back of the bike while on my way home around 9:00 pm and saw that my oil light was on and I pulled over to see if I could see what was going on. After pulling over I noticed that my rear tire, plastics, plates, and everywhere in between was covered in oil. I then proceeded to look for where the oil may have been coming from. I glanced at the oil filter and it looked dry and didn’t appear to be leaking oil. I then looked under the bike where the oil pan drain plug should be located and found out that there was no drain plug. Threads are intact, no damage around the pan or drain hole. This bike had less than 900 miles on it when I took it off the lot, practically brand new, no wear and tear, and after driving the bike for about 80 miles I have this problem. I was told by others that are well informed with how Freedom cycles operates when these circumstances occur and they say that they will try and fight this and say it’s not their fault, even after letting me know the day I took it home, that they had done a fresh oil change on the bike. Having oil on my rear tire could have resulted in a fatal crash of me and my girlfriend who was on the back of the bike when this happened. I will be having a talk with them tomorrow and if the service is where it needs to be then I will be willing to leave a good review for them, but as of right now it’s not looking good.

I have had several bad experiences not just once or twice. The latest experience which I am dealing with now has really been frustrating to the point i most likely will not be back. I drop my machine off to be serviced and deal with a warranty issue. I was advised the machine would be done in a few days that turned into a week. After having the machine there for over a week I called them they did not call me. They advise me a part from Polaris was going to take a couple months at which time I advised I needed to pick up the machine within the next couple of days. They told me they located a part in Iowa it was being shipped and would be here within a couple days and they would have the machine done by Friday. I asked them to please call me one way or another because I needed the machine for the weekend. After not receiving a call for the third time I called them tonight and asked them if my machine was ready. They told me my part would not be in till December 1. I advised they told me several days ago it would be in and done today. I was then told they were going to get with the parts department and call me right back. I did not hear from them and now it’s closed and I still need my machine. They call it a service department but they need to rename it. No service is occurring. It is now to the point where I feel like they should be paying me for contacting, them this is horrible. As I mentioned this is has not been my first negative experience at this location. Unfortunate, I expected so much better. Shame on me for going back.

This was my first experience buying a new vehicle at 31 years old.Kasey was my sales rep. Hes a straight shooter, and I can appreciate that. Ive had a few bad experiences with dealerships, so Im happy to report that I didnt feel like I was pressured into any decisions about taking home my new 2022 KLR 650. Maggie (finances) did a great job of explaining what other services and warranties I could elect to add. I definitely recommend considering your options on that one, because some of those are no-brainer good deals. Although the people at Freedom will happily hold your hand and help you select a bike, Id recommend taking your tone and researching your options before setting foot in the door.On the mechanical side; I checked the fluids before I left their shop. Everything was in spec, though my left mirror was tightened at such an angle that I couldnt adjust it to see traffic on my left side unless they were next to me. No big deal, I just adjusted it when I got home. Took all of 3 minutes. Looks like they have some young guys in the shop, but they do acceptable work on my limited experience.

FINALLY A POLARIS SLINGSHOT DEALERSHIP I CAN TRUSTI was starting to get skeptical of Polaris dealerships after previous experiences at other dealerships. Freedom Cycles was professional and ready to take care of my Polaris Slingshot maintenance needs. The service writer Travis was prompt, courteous and professional. My Slingshot felt and sounded more smoother after leaving Freedom Cycles. I plan to bring my Slingshot back to Freedom Cycles for all of my maintenance and service needs in the future.

Unfortunately, our experience was not great and we would not recommend. We excitedly purchased a go-cart for our daughters birthday this past Saturday, 4/10/21. After completing the sales process and the vehicle being serviced for us, we took it home. The go-cart is fun! The frustrating part came when we had been driving it for about an hour on a gravel road (no off-roading) and the belt slipped off. We discovered it had come off because the engine was free floating on the frame --- all 4 bolts were missing. Naturally this happened on a day the store was closed, so instead of waiting for them to reopen, my husband headed off to the hardware store to get bolts of our own and we were able to install them and put the belt back on so we could continue enjoying our NEW go-cart on a beautiful, warm and sunny spring day.I called and spoke to the manager, Derek, about this issue and his explanation was that the factory should have torqued the bolts and if they were loose they may have fallen out during our initial hour of driving the go-cart. This lack of ownership for quality inspection is shameful and we did not experience the type of family owned business customer service we were expecting.

So there I am working on my brand new machine before I even get it wet....as I am looking further the handle pole is also damaged big chunk missing out of the bottom. Went into freedom to pick up a spare tire for my trailer and to speak to someone about the issues. I was met by Derek the sales manager who became very defensive immediately. After making me wait for 30 minutes he called me a Lair and offered me a T- shirt for my $1,000 handle pole and machine not being set up properly. Needless to say I will not be returning for service or to purchase another vehicle.

Not really a whole lot of words to describe this place other than shady. I would highly not recommend Freedom Cycles in general. I purchased a motorcycle about 2 years ago and was just going to brush off my review but its just sad how many friends have been screwed by this place. They will lie to your face, dodge any sort of negotiation (understandably as a business) however in a disgusting manner. They take absolutely zero pride in you as a customer, they will praise you for your money but tell you to screw off behind your back. Please, if you have any sense of respect for yourself, and the community as a whole, take your business elsewhere. Like Dells Powersports. They have a well mannered team, willing to help you through the process of your first purchase. Literally just go anywhere else.Thanks.

I bought my first bike a couple days ago here, a Kawasaki 650. The buying process was very simple and stress free. Everyone was super helpful and nice assisting me with any questions I had. But I got home and started to look around the bike (something I shouldve done before buying.) The brake fluid reservoir was empty. The oil is bone dry, and theres maybe an inch and a half of coolant in the reservoir. Im glad I made it home without anything happening to me or the bike.

Both are 2018 and need new starters. I called to set up maintenance and was told the service department was backed up with phone calls. The woman I spoke to took my message and said someone would call me. Do you think anyone called me? No so I will be taking my business elsewhere. We found one we were interested in and made an offer. After discussion, an agreement was reached. He also helped with accessories. We finished our agreement by talking to Maggie in finance. She walked us through every part of the sale, maintenance, and warranty. We finalized the sale and pickup with the service department, who had thoroughly checked the motorcycle before we picked it up. Everyone at Freedom went above and beyond to make sure our experience was flawless. And the prices were fair. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality bike.

I visited Freedom Cycle twice speaking with Frank (Sales Manager) and Kelly (Sales staff)) on the purchase of a Polaris Ranger XP 1000 crew cab UTV. Last Saturday, I called and spoke with both Frank and Kelly asking for a quote (verbal and email) on the cost for upgrading to a XP 1000 NorthStar Premium. After 4+ hours and several more phone calls on my part, I finally did receive my verbal quote from Frank; 24 hours later still nothing in writing. Frank was very apologetic but full of ... its a busy Saturday and ... no one called you back? excuses. Freedom Cycle left me feeling my potential sale ($30,000+) really did not matter. It all boils down to poor communication at the dealership and lack of following up. Im taking by business elsewhere.

I went to purchase a 2021 Kawasaki ninja 400 today, and got approved for the bike. As Im waiting for the finance manager to come to me to start the paper work (after waiting 20 minutes), the sales guy that I was working with calls me over to tell me that someone just put a deposit on the bike and couldnt sale it to me. I asked him that they can just take a deposit on a bike midway through the purchasing process and he said yep. Who sales the bike while someone is already in the process of purchasing it. Wont go back there and will tell everyone not to go there either because of their sales tactics.Update: in response to their reply. I never refused a down payment of any kind and I tried my bank to see if I could get a better deal. Their second lender had the best deal so I told the sale person that I would do that deal and told them my girlfriend was coming with additional cash to put down. The sales guy said ok sounds good and said hed get the finance manager to start the paper work. 20 minutes later is when I was told that someone else put a deposit on the bike and couldnt sell to me now. So dont paint the picture to make it seem like you screwing me over was my fault. Their response clearly shows their business practices. Glad I went elsewhere and got a ninja 650 and 2 other bikes and they didnt get my business.

Bought a bike here last week and the folks there are great. Really helpful and knowledgeable. The amount and variety of motorcycles they have are impressive, not to mention the slingshots. I had all my questions answered and was given a lot of helpful tips and advice on the bike I just bought. My only issue was the financing part of the deal. I was pre-approved at a better rate than they were able to quote me for and were seemingly upset and rude with me because I didnt finance through them after they showed me the details. I did my research and knew what I should get going in and they werent able to match that, Im sure theyd do the same thing. I would still purchase a vehicle from here as these guys have been around forever for a reason, just make sure you do your research.2 week update: downgrading my review from 3 to 2 stars. When I went to register the vehicle the DMV refused the MO vehicle inspection done by the dealer. Whoever did the inspection and filled out the paperwork crossed out and then wrote over a mistake on the VIN. I would think after being in business for so long that everyone here would know that these documents need to be error-free. If this is the level of effort they put into filling out a half sheet of paper after Ive spent thousands of dollars, I wouldnt trust them to repair or do anything to any of my vehicles. The only reason I havent gone all the way down to 1 star is because of the salesperson I worked with (Kelly). She has been the only bright spot in my entire experience at Freedom Cycles.

Nick deserves 5/5 stars. The only reason Im giving 4 stars is because the person who wrote up the paperwork refused to wear a mask for 30 minutes while we were signing.
