I always go here for my painting supplys. Last time I got this super cool piece of wall art that perfectly fit my interests. Great place and always friendly and speedy checkouts.

I had a bad experience coming here. Even though the employees are friendly, it gets to the point where they are constantly checking up on you which ends up making you feel extremely uncomfortable (If your hispanic you know what I mean). I couldn’t shop in peace. I couldn’t even finish looking for a product because the cashier was already offering to put the things I had in my hand back. They only did this to us but not other customers. Just because I’m Hispanic does not mean I’m a thief. I came to shop, not to rob. If they could change that behavior then maybe I’ll consider shopping here again. Until then, No Thank you.

Everybody that works here seems to be pretty nice and helpful. They carry a little bit of everything. Definitely like coming here!

As far as a Michaels goes this place was as expected/average. However, 4th star is for how nice our cashier Spike was. She was very friendly and made the check out pleasant.

I am medically exempt from wearing a mask according to the regulations set forth by the CDC. I have a medical prescription on my person to show this. Store Manager Kimberlee escorted me out, taking all the items I had in my hand and instructed that I may purchase them online. I encourage the General and Regional Manager to follow up with me.Update: I received a phone call from the Store Manager Aaron who offered his sincere apologies for how the situation was handled. One option Michaels offers is for store employees to shop for patrons who are unable to wear masks. I was informed that Kimberlee misrepresented herself and is only a department manager. I was appreciative of the effort of Aaron! I did share with him that I enjoyed my recent experience at Hobby Lobby, where I was not harassed at all.

A fun store I can easily get lost in, too many art supplies for my daughter and I to buy! I love the paint and marker selection for our illustrations on foam core and canvas etc. Highly recommend

I went there to get knitting supplies. I was impressed by the large selection of brands and types of yarn they held. I also liked that they had multiple brands of needles.

They had many boxes to choose from and offered a variety of themes,toys and lots of crafts for young and old. I purchased a scane (sp) of yarn and a hook so I can crochet again! Offers many different choices including wreaths, wedding supplies and dried flowers

All the cool stuff any artist would need. This little girl went to Hobby Lobby instead of Michaels😩

Im always looking for crafts or materials. Michaels used to be my go to....but lately it seems like the sales floor knows more about stocking the product than using it....there needs to be virtual classes for new product at Michaels dont refer customers to YouTube because if I go home Im not coming back just to pick up what I was there for in the first place. Its a artist craft supply chain...why doesnt a sales person know what gilding adhesive is? Whats happening in the industry that Michaels doesnt seem excited about the products they carry? The world needs beautiful creative people to blossom and Michaels could lose a whole market to Hobby Lobby if they dont get it together....dont be the next blockbuster

Always has what I need for my crafts! I love how you can search the app for what youre looking for, and it gives you the aisle number that you will find it. So convenient!

This was my first visit to Michaels after they reopened with new COVID-19 procedures in place. I was very impressed with the staff, the safety measures, and the patience of everyone there. I had to wait in line to get in for about 45 minutes. Everyone was calm and happy. It was a wonderful experience!

Being an artist, I find their sales pretty good. If you wait long enough they are excellant! Their selection of crafts are pretty good also, as I crochet, quilt, & tat; besides drawing & painting & leather carving.

Always stock up on my favorite craft items here they have the best selection

This is my go to craft sale. They have a wide selection, decent prices and good coupons. My only complaint is that its always the same things on sale, and its never open stock paper.

A large selection of fake plant and other things like that check out was a bit slow and everything is a bit expensive but overall it is clean and well taken care of

I ordered 10 72 inch eucalyptus garlands for my granddaughters wedding. 8 were perfect and 2 were only 4 ft, with very sparse foliage. They refused to exchange or refund the 2 defective garlands, stating that they had no way of knowing that was how I received them! I just became a Hobby Lobby fan!!

The store was clean and well stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had some good sales going on but some of the prices (some sale prices too) were a little higher compared to some of the other craft supply stores in my area. Overall, I still like shopping Michaels on occasion.

I felt so SAFE and RELAXED at the Michaels store in Grandville! I have to admit that I was nervous, because I had just come from a different store in the area that was pretty lax in their precautions. I couldnt have been more relieved. As usual, the store was clean and well organized, and the service team was friendly. The difference was that the environment was also COVID safe, with everyone wearing masks and being considerate of my space. I will shop here with confidence even in these disconcerting times. A giant THANK YOU to the team a Michaels in Grandville. you made my evening stress free. :)

The staff are so friendly here! The store is jam packed full of such cool crafts. If you are a hobbiest be careful...you may end up picking up a brand new hobby once you walk through this store!

Prices are on the high side. If you like a big selection they definitely have you covered. My fiance and I found a few nice decorations for our new place. Worth stopping in and checking out..😁

I always find something that I need. Love that they always have coupons. My store is pretty clean all the time which is a big plus for me.

This is probably my least favorite Michaels location. The paper crafting section is never stocked, the store is generally pretty dirty and disorganized. The half-dozen times that I have asked for help, the staff havent been familiar with their own products and were not able to help me locate what I was looking for.

My wife dragged me here. Against my will. I actually gave her a hard time about it. But the experience was not altogether unpleasant. We got a few things for the kids Halloween costumes. They have everything we needed. The store was easy to access and clean. The checkout was quick even though the store was pretty busy. Its not the stores fault, but I dont really want to go back.

I purchased a US Flag frame for a flag my son gave me from Afghanistan. I bought it with a coupon. The kind cashier gave me their Military discount on top of my sale price! Awesome service!

Ive shopped here for years. Always disappointed they dont have fabric. Its a bit pricey, but they have a nice selection for all sorts of crafts. The staff is usually helpful and friendly.

Is there anything bad to say about Michaels????? Not this one! I could spent hours looking at all the stuff. I personally am a rather crafty person and I own a cricut and lots and lots of extras as I run a small vinyl business. I can come here and get EVERYTHING I need in ONE trip! When I have a crafting need I know I can find my supplies here. Reasonable & competitive prices. They offer coupons & can sign you up for weekly sales.

Ordered and payed online. Went to pick up at store. Called, they brought my items out to me. But it took about 10 minutes before the phone was answered. Id shop this way again here.

Its a great store. They could use a larger yarn selection, though. Hobby Lobby for the win...when it comes to yarn.Dont forget to take advantage of that 15% military discount if you just happen to be active or a veteran!

This store is one of my favorites. Its almost always easy to find what you are looking for. Its not the best place for spontaneous shopping but only because youll want to buy one of everything. Seriously..who ever sets up the store is a genuis because they take all my money every time 😂

Theyre so rude at this location. Every time Ive gone in, theyre just so nasty and rude to me and the people Ive gone with, like were inconveniencing them by shopping there. One cashier wouldnt let me check out until I gave her my phone number, and took her sweet time checking out my one item when I insisted I just wanted to pay and leave. I will be avoiding this location after giving it several chances.

I check in for jewelry making beads, findings etc. Wonderful variety, sales and coupons on purchase receipts. I have forgotten mine in past and mentioned to clerk and was given a discount! Also pick up gift items.

Little pricy but they have a huge clearance section. Not a good variety of the Diamond Dots. I only go there if I cant find what I need at Wal-Mart or Meijer. Thank you for having my dog paw stamp. It made my day. I also gave my email address and phone number to the cashier and I saved 30% on my total bill. Will definitely go back.
