Serra Honda [originally Rivertown Honda] does a great job servicing my vehicles. Theyre always honest and do really good work.

I have been going to this location since I’ve been able to drive for my oil changes. I’ve always had great service when I brought in my Chevy and mazda.. until I bought a new Subaru a little over a year ago. My first oil change in the car, the tech striped my drain plug and left it like that so it was just sitting in the pan. The second oil change they realized it was striped, but said it wasn’t their problem because it was like that when they got my car.. but they did my oil change before. The tech made a big deal about it & told me to take my car to a Subaru dealership, even though they say they service all cars. Besides that, he was super rude so I spoke with the manager & he was really nice, he sorted things out for me & agreed the tech was out of line. They didn’t have the part, so he went out of his way to drive to a dealership to pick it up & they replaced it, no biggie. The manager gave me his card & said next time he’ll be the only one dealing with my car. So I decided to try them again.. there was a new manager, and again got all huffy & puffy that I have a Subaru and not a Honda. I’m over the attitude I’ve received the past two times I’ve been here, so I will be taking my business to My Auto even tho it’s 4x the drive. It’s unfortunate that the other manager wasn’t there. Oh, and don’t bother making an appointment. It doesn’t matter, they’ll still make you wait in line for over an hour just like everyone else. Absolutely ridiculous.

Bought a 2005 GMC HD2500 with a little more than 56000 miles on it had it for 1 1/2 weeks and less then 600 miles and the front Axle locked up no oil at all in the differential and they have not yet helped me with this problem that should by all rights be taken care of so at this point I feel theyre not excepting any responsibility even though they owned this truck since it was new and should now everything about it OR DO THEY
