Best service you can possibly get. Had a rim replaced/Bike tune up a year ago and recently went back for a bike rack. They helped look up my car (and also my wife’s car) to insure the options they had available would be compatible. Super happy with the purchase and add bonus, it’s made in the USA.

I like that everyone seems very friendly and that they will service your new bike for free after a couple of weeks and rides. I am really enjoying my Trek dual sport 1 and my girlfriend likes her Trek fx-1.

They are very nice, hard working, honest people and will go the extra mile to help you out, if you have difficulty with anything you bought from them they will try and make it right. What a great spot to purchase a bike! Although the didn’t have much inventory at there store to be purchase, they can order you a bike. This shop has there earliest shipment dates for bikes, than any other shops. A lot out of there Trek Marlin bikes are coming in on September 13, FYI. Workers here we so knowledgeable and help full. Eddie, who helped us, really knew what he was talking about, and helped us decide on what new bikes to get. This shop is one of my favorite bike shops in the whole Grand Rapids area!

Great service while I was there. Even though inventory is low due to COVID, I did not feel they tried to take advantage price-wise or pushing products. They were able to answer all my questions skillfully, and I like the bike I purchased.

Great service! I needed new cycling shoes and though they did not have what was best for me they suggested what to get and where to find it. Obviously not just trying to sell me something. They really payed attention to what would work best for me.

Went in to get a new bike seat and received super personal information on the best bike seat based on how I ride. I also was looking for a new speedometer and my battery was simply dead. They replaced the batteries which was $10 bucks instead of selling a more expensive new one. I totally love and respect this shop super great service.

You can do this!Feel like it is too late for you to ride? We had not cycled in 45 years. Not once since High School. And yet with our new home being built in a large subdivision which The North Bank Trail bisects, we thought… “lets do this!” Visions of short rides east to Nunica for lunch, or longer rides to Lake Michigan beaches danced thru our minds. All without ever needing to ride with automobile traffic.When my wife had double hip replacement, her doctor advised no upright biking for her. But recumbents were fine… and encouraged. And I’m a big guy, worse with Covid. So looking to ride for fun, exercise, and weight loss. My research narrowed in on the TerraTrike Rambler.Calling around, we were fortunate (very fortunate!), to find two Rambler’s just delivered to West Michigan Bike & Fitness in Granville, Michigan. They set us up with an excellent after hours fitting, test rides and customization. Our Ramblers were then delivered to Unica last Friday.We are now at Day 6 of cycling each day for 30 minutes. Well gradually add more daily minutes. Loving the trikes, and highly recommend West Michigan Bike & Fitness.Not just bikes. They do recumbent trikes too… and do it very well!

Working with West Michigan Bike is always a pleasure. Dave and the staff are always accommodating and personable. I just purchase a new Trek Checkpoint SL 6. The size that I originally wanted was in stock, but Dave took the time to walk though the specs and advantages of going to a smaller frame size, which included his personal experience with the same issue. Instead of selling me the floor model, he talked me into waiting and ordered the next size down. I brought in my bike for a tune up to get ready for the up coming season .. it ran flawless the previous season but I figured it was ready for a good lube job and some adjustments & new rubber on the rear tire.... I was quoted $240 which I thought seemed kind of on the high side considering the bike was only $400 brand new 2.5 years ago but I gave them the ok to proceed... but when I picked it up the bill was to increased to over $300... when I asked about the difference between their quote & the actual invoice they said the person that worked on it was not around and seemed indifferent about the situation... I paid the bill and shook my head and walked out... no one seemed to concerned that I was displeased... my lesson was learned and future business will go elsewhere

I have a cheap cruiser bike from Walmart. My knee and hands were hurting as I rode it, so I brought it in to West Michigan Bike to ask their advice. I was prepared to buy a new, more expensive bike. Instead, they had me ride my current bike, then told me my seat was too low and too far forward. They adjusted it for me for free, had me ride again, raised the seat a little more, then told me to try it and come back if I was still having problems. I went for a 10-mi ride today and my knee and hands feel great. Im so impressed at their great service, esp when they made no money from the transaction.

Beware the upsell. I needed new brake pads, the bike was running great otherwise. Dave pushed me in to a bike tune-up without giving reasons. He even tried to sell me the premium. Tune-up for $80, pads for $30, total $110. I called back and said to just do the pads. I didnt know until the bike was serviced that the pad install went from $10 to $50. I wont be back.

I was looking for a recumbant trike because of a medical condition. The staff were super helpful with teaching me about all of my options, and things I needed to know. They let (even encouraged) me take a test ride. I have been back to the store twice since buying my bike, and will be back again for sure.

I came in to get help with a leaking tube on my bike tire. Dave was super helpful, and took a lot of time to check everything out thoroughly, and even gave me tips on how to make sure my bike pump at home was working most efficiently. Every time we’ve come here for service, I’ve been very impressed.I recommended my son come check out their bikes, as he was looking for a new one, and he went the next day and also had a great experience buying a bike.

Great experience, even during extreme events with Covid19 lockdown.Needed to get service done on my daughters bicycle. Staff was friendly and explained to me over the phone how they were operating with the Governors safety requirements. I dropped off the bicycle, got a call back from the service mechanic within a couple of days and picked the bicycle back up again a few days after that.Friendly staff. Very helpful. Prompt service and reasonably priced.

Our buying experience was exceptional. Daves experience and manner - most appreciated. After about a week, one of our bikes needed a service tweak (perfectly normal) and we were in and out in a flash - the technician does this full time and is excellent. We drive an hour plus to get to WMB&F - well worth it!

I did purchase a new bike here. The staff was helpful. They are having a decent sale right now. It is very hard to talk them down on prices, so beware. This store seems more corporate than private, which made me want to bring my money to a different business. I also wish the staff would have explained a bit more about my bike rather than the basics. Other than that, I love my new bike. I liked the environment its very organized and non-overwhelming. They have some very nice bikes there. Worth checking out.

Bought a new Trek Procaliber this spring. The staff had me try a few sizes to make sure I would be ready come race season. When I brought my bike in for a tuneup I was a little embarrassed that I didn’t have time to clean before dropping off. They not only had my bike completed the next morning but it was spotless! I have gone to West Michigan Bike and Fitness on Chicago drive for every bike I own. I have in the past had great customer service which is why I went back. I bought an end of season bike and received a 10% veteran discount. Today we went to buy my daughter a bike, it was on sale 8% off. When we cashed out I stated I was a veteran and the lady cashing me out looked at me funny so I advised Dave has always given me a discount. She looked annoyed at that point and when she applied my veteran discount she applied an additional 2% rather than 10% I have always received. Even off of sale prices I have received 10%. Look, I dont expect a discount for being a veteran but if it is offered I will damn sure take it. The kicker was the rude service followed by the irritation in having to honor a discount they offer. We are talking about $30 - I have spent over $4000 in the last few years and have been loyal. My husband has raced for years and he can go anywhere and get a deal with all those he knows in the biking world but we have been loyal to WMBF. So for the savings of $30 they lost our loyalty.

Waited for half an hour the reps wouldnt help us. Waiting up by the desk for 15 minutes told a guy we wanted to buy a marlin 5,so he sent us back to the service count and said we would get helped soon. Some kid there stared at us for a few minutes before asking what we needed and we told him, and he said we needed sales and sent us back to the front. We stood there for another 10minutes before a guy brought us to the back and said some kid would help us. He looked at us for a few minutes, said hi and proceeded to go to a bike and start fixing it. We stood there another 15 minutes and walked to the front where the 2 guys up there were helping people who came in after us, and so we left. Went to Village Bike a few miles away and they were far more helpful. We bought a bike there

I have shopped here several times. Each time the service was great, and the prices were fair! They are a full service bicycle shop and are very knowledgeable. They also have a layaway for buying a quality bicycle. I ride daily and my big store purchased bicycle is wearing out and in need of constant service (after 3 months). I put an Electra Original 7D EQ Townie, matte juniper color on layaway. I test rode it and it was the nicest bike I have rode. I love the cruiser style bike. Anyways, their staff is very friendly and helpful. Go and see for yourself. If you see me riding around Grandville on my new Townie, say Hi.

Very nice and personable staff. Sure you have to wait sometimes when they are busy, but you cant expect a local bike shop to be staffed like the Apple Store. Prices on the bikes are fair and luckily they have a sale a couple times a year. Prices on accessories and parts might be a little steep, but we will know if it was worth it based on how long it lasts. I drive past another bike shop in Jenison that I had some bad experiences at to come here for our last 4 bikes.

Five thumbs down for the bike shop on Chicago Drive in Grandville, I was traveling that way so had to stop in for a minute. Closing time is 4pm and just really needed 2 shifter cables. Walked up at 3:50pm and was told it was closing time. Please support those who support us riders!

Great experience buying a bike for my wife’s birthday. She loves the bike and the took time to adjust it for her needs.

The store was nice and clean. The employees acknowledged customers and were around to answer questions. The reason Im giving a 3 star rating was because I specifically went into the store for the Go Ride and Win event and had to leave with nothing. I had my little one with me today, the only day I could stop into the store, so I asked if I could forgo the actual test ride and skip to the scratch card. (What is my 3 year old suppose to do will Im riding a bike?) The employee hardly looked at me and said the test ride is the whole reason for the card and continued on with his business.Well that was it for me. I was hoping to find a new set of pedals or upgrade my bike lights but instead I walked out. Unfortunately the customer service just wasnt there and when I do go to upgrade my bike Im sure Ill be stopping at Village, which is closer.
