This store is huge! I know its not like the two story one or anything, but its still really big. They have a very good selection of books, games, and a whole area for music. The childrens are was also really nice with a lot to offer. The staff was helpful and friendly. I enjoyed chatting about Mary Roachs work with one staff member.

Love Barnes & Noble, but this particular location is a little smaller than others Ive been to and the bathrooms arent always kept up. Still decent tho!

Great selection of books. No reason for the very specific book pictures other than those were the only pictures I took there.I wish they would carry EJ Wenstroms books. Get on that, Barnes.

I know that having real paper books is kinda on its way out, but I still enjoy them. But if Im completely honest I come here for the coffee.

Staff was extremely patient and helpful, they found two copies of books we wanted to gift to family members just as they were starting to close. Highly recommend.

The store have a wonderful variety of books to read. Even The Bibles which is what I went in to purchase today! I also love the fact that they have an area where customers can enter and sit down and relax while practicing covid precautions.

I like Barnes and noble. Has a lot to offer everyone and anything you may need to read up on. But the only downfall is not a whole big selection. Its just a smaller one. So call up if you looking for a particular book otherwise pretty good. Also has a coffee shop in there.

Good book store. The setup changes semi frequently on where each genre is, making it a challenge some times to go back and look for the next part on a series. Employees dont have any type of uniform, so they could be anyone in the store.

I witnessed an extreme act of kindness by one of the employees. A lady was having difficulty walking and the employee helped her to get what she needed. This was amazing. She talked to her calmly. Thank you for caring. I also found the items I wanted.

As far as B&Ns go, this one is pretty decent, friendly staff, though the carpet and shelves are a bit wore, and the music and movie collection is on the lean side. Lots of books though!

I love the wonderful and great quality and variety of this store. I love stopping in anytime I am at the mall, to the point where a mall visit is not complete without a quick pop in at least. There are so much variety here, between books and board games, you can spend an easy hour here just wandering and browsing. I love their board games, I spend so much time just looking around at them. :) All in all, if you are at the mall stop in here and enjoy the many, many products here and dont get lost in the wares! Ill be here time and time again.

Its such a great place to be and relax with some books haha, would be nice if they had a few benches to sit and enjoy a read.

I go to Barnes & Noble at least once a week. Im able to find the books I want plus gifts for friends and family. Having a Starbucks inside is an added bonus. My only disappointment is the downsizing of music selection in the store although Im able to order online thru them.

Just yesterday when I was at the Rivertown Barnes and Noble I also stepped out for a cigarette. I was also threatened by the manager for stepping out. She warned that if my items were left unattended she was going to confiscate them. She then became very loud and demanded that I leave the restaurant. She said I was sleeping and then she slammed a sign that said that customers were only allowed for thirty minutes. I politely said « you’re very rude I am going to leave. »

The staff here is very engaged. Its a good thing

My favorite retail store in Grand Rapids— its the place for great gifts, and the only place to find The Criterion Collection. Also, the staff is always incredibly helpful. I can easily spend hours browsing.

A real store is so much better than online because you get to touch the books and get a connection with it. Personal service was excellent as Elijah worked hard to track down the books we were looking for. Also got to see some great game selections as well as Christmas gift ideas.

Its hard to find the book I want so I ask the info counter for directions. They are helpful, in the fact, that they lead me rite to it, with no show of contempt

Very large selection of books, although could t figure out or find the book I was looking for without assistance. Staff was friendly and able to help quickly. Not sure why I could buy one of their books through their website and pick up in store for less though, especially seeing I did all the work looking for it and then getting assistance. Had I not wanted the book today I would have ordered through another retailer online.

I always have a great experience when I visit this location. The staff is very helpful when it comes to location books for my daughter.

Be careful with sales. Buy one get one half off means if you buy 4 or 6 they will scam you out of the best discount. Pay in separate transactions. They also tried to force a 99 cent bag on me by not giving me any bag for my purchases.

Nice store and location. Very helpful staff. Only drawback is the size limits inventory they carry.I went there for a michigan outdoor atlas. They didnt have it, but were extremely helpful in showing me the possible areas for similar items.

Love this bookstore! Ive been a member for about 5 years. One major thing to improve the store would be to carry a larger philosophy section. Its currently so small, about a tenth of the size of the religion section.

I loved how spacious it was in comparison to some of the other stores. I also really appreciated the kids activities that they had going on there.

They have a nice area to sit and have coffee and socialize. They also have large selection of almost every book you could ever want to find. However, the books are definitely overpriced. There is a selection of bargain and sales on the website that can definitely save money but it is only certain ones.

Can always find a good book for the whole family.
