Clean store with great service. I can always find something in the Levi’s section and good shirt area. Today was shoe day and found some nice ones.

We unfortunately had a death in the family, and I had no shirt that was going to match and go with a tie. We were able to find my size and the color in the big and tall section, and the deal they had going on for buy-one-get-one was perfect. Two long sleeve shirts for $55!!! Unheard of!

We made the best of it.There was no Hello or caing at all.

Electric went out in middle of transaction. Which was fine. I said Id wait. Then I saw them shut the doors. Werent going to say anything do I asked what I was supposed to do and a younger person said we have no power. Well duh. Im not stupid, but were they going to tell me. The people closing the door knew I was waiting. Totally get the issue, but could have been a little more considerate about it.

Greeted by employee as soon as i walked in the door. I just wished they had maternity clothing. They were still great!

It is very hard for a handicap people to reach there return desk. You have to go across the store to reach the elevator, and then you have to go to the get to the courtesy desk. There second floor entrance door was closed with no notice at there handicap parking or entrance walkway.

No decent plus size dresses for teens

I was fallowed all through the store being watch as I waited on my pick up order and then as I browse through the store after getting my order I continue to be followed until I left the store Im 64 years old never been in trouble in my life this was very very bad service Im also woman of color😞😞😞

Havent been to Rivertown Mall or Pennys in over 3 or more years. I live by Big Rapids and was so disappointed when they closed. Only nice store like that around. But made the trip because I ordered something online and that was the closest store over a hr away. But I enjoyed my trip and bought some other items as well. But it may be awhile before going back with winter driving here. Wish they would reopen in Big Rapids or Greenville, MI.

I normally enjoy J.C. Pennys and this one is a very decent size, so I was disappointed in the fact that I wasnt able to find anything the last few times I went, but the clearance is pretty good.

Had a great time in here. There were tons of stuff on sale. I went in for a swimsuit top... I found one in the style I liked and for under $20 on the off season. On my way to the dressing room I round some sun dresses and were significantly on sale. I ended up trying some on and bought three!!! Almost got a pair of ankle boots too. The store was laid out in a way it was easy to find and they had lots of selection. I waited in line for less that 5min

Just wanted to say what a GREAT experience my husband and i had purchasing jewelry the other night while the tornado sirens were going off and we were all locked in the store! What made it really great was the wonderful person who helped us... Sandy in Jewelry. We looked at a ton of rings and finally found the perfect one. Sandy was so patient with me :) Then the tornado sirens went off and i got REALLY nervous. She was completely calm and helped keep me calm. She has amazing energy and a GREAT personality! She is a keeper! I will definitely be back and asking for her to help us! Thanks again Sandy... you ROCK :)

Everyone that worked there was super nice!They had all sizes out, everything was in its place, even tho there were lots of sales and clearances going on. Store was very clean and neat, and I thought it was pretty cool, each department seemed to have their own music playing, geared towards that age group. Ended up saving more than I spent, great sales!😁

They need a bigger plus size CUTE CLOTHING section. Prices are good and many clothes to choose from...as long as you are not a bigger woman/girl. The employees are usually great as well, very friendly and inclusive. I would recommend people to shop here for sure.

JCP is always pretty great! Although I do go on really off times as to avoid the crowd. I love that they clearly display their clearance items. I would recommend them for that alone.

Not my usual Penneys store as I was visiting the area I thought I world check it out. Standard layout with a slightly limited selection compared to the Kalamazoo store.

Nice fashions. Ladies Petite section too small. Only staff on duty appeared to be cashiers. All price check scanners have been removed. They suggest using their app. Not everyone has a mobile phone.

The employees are always friendly. The sale prices are good. I wish they had better selection for boys clothes size 9.

This is a nice Penneys store, just wish it was as big as the one at Woodland mall. Staff is great. Grandville is the one I usually shop at.

Very good service, my husband bought a couple of dress pants on line when he got them they didnt fit well took them back to the store to exchange them for a different size. The sales associate was very friendly and helpful got exactly what he needed.

Found the exact same item at Kohls for almost half the price. When trying to return the item, had to wait for literally 20+ minutes and was argued with at the customer service desk, when I finally made it though the maze they call a store. Will not be returning any time soon.

Good store overall. Great selection of clothing for women, men and kids. Interestingly, theres a Sephora in the store and a separate Sephora in the mall. They also have a good selection of jewelry but service here was not so great. There was only one person working there. They need to hire more people in this department.

Rachael the stylist that cuts my hair is awesome! But this time the roof was leaking big trash barrel catching the water, last time they had no hot water, wow that was awful getting my hair washed.

I like this store, they have a wide variety, some high-end products and some really great deals.

Wont shop here anymore,my daughter opened a charge account and after she had gotten into a car accident she couldnt make the payments,when she tried to close the account so she can start paying it off,they gave her the run around and wont close it.so it keeps adding up even though she dont use it. Ruined her fresh new credit at a young age.

I had a horrible time jc penny’s. Asked to send my large bag to pick up. What a disaster. Told me open door and didn’t say talk on the phone but there was a sign. Call 359. On hold 30 min went back to store and lady on phone said yep on the phone ho back and I’ll send someone. Another 20 min finally and said sorry I was with a customer. I’m an disappointed and disabled and now I want to bring it all back and go somewhere else. Really l if u have customer pick up. U need someone to handle that. Poor customer service won’t go there again. And the store was trashed looked like know one gives a damm. Bye not coming back

I got a good deal on the clothes I was buying but I was borderline harrassed to get one of their credit cards. I explicitly said no I had absolutely no interest over three times over the course of tirade the cashier was on while holding up the line and the checkout process. No is no lady.

The place is huge and the services is excellent. All the time when i visit in u.s.a i go to Jcpenney and i find a lot of products that i need. Buy a lot of present to the kids and the price are very good. That place is excellent.

This is now the closest Pennys to me. It is large and clean. My only beef is that despite their signs, you cannot return items at a customer service counter. You have to go to a place tucked away at the far end of the 2nd floor.

Being a big guy its hard to find everything im looking for in one place for a good price and today Penny (not kidding my checkout lady was named Penny) really delivered! The only thing I couldnt find today was pants but jacket, dress shirt, and shoes were easy to find today! The Shaq line really fits bigger guys well! And insane savings too! I saved over three hundred dollars!

The shopping experience was satisfactory except for the condition of the dressing room. The wall had a hole in it and wall paper in deplorable condition. I could not find help available for questions. Check out line was long.

Jc penny has one of the best selections of big and tall clothing. Unfortunately they are really bad at making sure the clothing is stocked or even in the proper spot. The checkouts take forever. Their cashiers have no sense of urgency, and dont seem to care about the customers time.

Penneys is trying harder. More sales and specials all the time. This door seems to have a good selection of items and is clean

The place is still pretty clean but the lack of staff and help, and there are hardly any registers so the lines are long. Its got some good deals so I stood in the lines, but there could be some improvement.

I have a feeling that stores and Community should go hand-in-hand. I asked if I could get some change because all I had was 20s on me due to the ATM. the cashier was very short with me. I would have been happy to purchase something if I wasnt giving him an attitude. I will never go to JCPenney again.
