We had new counter tops put in by Granite Transformations based in Grandville. The counter tops are fantastic. This may not be the best policy, but we no longer own a cutting board. We also had a new sink put in that is countersunk, which means we no longer have that sink lip over the counters. Wonderful company with a wonderful product. 5 stars

The guy installing the counters was very skilled, the product is great quality and so far we are very happy customers. I recommend this company.

Excellent in every way. From the quotation process to the measurements and installation. Everything was great. The clean up was no big deal and they finished up in about 5 hours. Excellent experience.

OVERPRICED for what you get. The color is gorgeous, the caulking job was perfect, however, the sink they installed had a dent in the corner and when finished the counter on the right side of the stove was 1/2 higher than the counter on the left side of the stove. We brought this to their attention and they fixed the issue on either side of the stove but have done nothing about the sink. Because of the way they installed it, the sink will be extremely difficult to replace. For what we paid we could have bought top of the line quartz countertops from Home Depot, have them installed, have the old countertops removed, have the plumbing work done and it would have cost us less. This is NOT a cheaper alternative to the real thing. This is paying top dollar for the convenience of not having your kitchen torn up and a mess for a couple days. Granite Transformations installers are paid by the job and were in and out of our house within 4 hours - they installed 73 square feet of countertop! Be sure to read every page of the contract, including the back side gag order to know what youre signing up for! Disappointed in Kalamazoo.

From the moment the salesperson showed up at our house to show us the product and pricing to the installation itself was a very positive experience. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and positive and made sure that we understood everything about the service that Granite Transformations would perform. The installation team was fantastic and the customer service was exceptional. Anyone that is looking to update their kitchen I would highly recommend Granite Transformations.

Very Satisfied. The wait was well worth it. The Company kept us informed during this Covid situation which for customer service that is important. The gentlemen who installed the counter tops for bathrooms and kitchen, friendly, did their job, cleaned up, and not a mess. Next day back splash, one of the gentlemen who installed the counter tops - great job. We had new sinks installed and if you did not know a plumber, Granit Transformations recommended a plumber and they were great. All work completed in two days. No problems and highly recommend them. Buyer beware!! You must be prepared to negotiate a price. I thought this was a straight forward price per square foot. I asked for the least expensive samples only. Each sales person gets to set their own pricing. I ended up paying hundreds more than friends I referred. There was no referral bonus. The sales person who significantly over charged me said he would try to get me a $25 gift card somewhere. How about the hundreds more that I paid more hant my friends get returned instead?

Good selection of granite overlays to choose from. All staff were professional and kept us informed throughout the process. And we LOVE the results!

My new kitchen and bathrooms look great. I loved how everything just fit right over my existing counter tops and back splash and it only took 2 days! Everyone I dealt with was very accommodating to my wishes. The installers were professional, punctual and knowledgeable. Thank you Granite Transformations for transforming my kitchen and bathrooms. The countertops that were installed in my home are just wonderful. They look fantastic and really bring a level of sophistication to the bathroom and kitchen. Were very pleased at first but as time went on the granite began to pit more than once. Getting them back for repairs was like pulling a tooth and we had to be persistent.Than when a person came out he gave us some BS about getting acidic juice on it (like cutting my oranges as an example) would cause pitted oh really and we were NEVER told this at the time of purchase.Also be careful when you say its Pitted or its Chipped theyll get you on that one.The gentleman who installed it did a wonderful job. The product and customer service over a period of time Sucked.Not worth the thousands we paid them. 3 rooms done. Kitchen the worst for product performance.Never will I recommend them, it doesnt hold up.We have cleaned and polished with their approval on the granite product we used.We take very good care of our counter tops.I communicated with them when we got a run around and specifically told them I would NOT recommend them.One very unhappy customer.

The countertop and backsplash look great, but during their installation they dropped some grout on brand new wood flooring we put in about a week before and it was not cleaned up. And of course Im not looking at the ground after they had finished. So the grout hardened and now I cant get it off our floor and they said they wont do anything about it.

The atmosphere was very casual and laid back. The salesman was very helpful, showing us several features of your products. In the next few days we will be setting up an appointment.

I sent an email asking to set an appointment. No reply after waiting a day. So I phoned and spoke with a nice person who was eager to get the appointment set up. But when she started asking if my husband would be home for the appointment, red flags went up. She said to plan for enough time to measure and review samples - which is fine. But when she required my husband to be there for the appointment, I was offended. Ive made plenty of decisions without my husband present, and on larger expenses than this counter top. My husband then spoke with her asking her why and they said it was their policy based on history. This was so slimy I cancelled the appointment. If they cant trust me to make my own decision, then I dont trust them.

I had a horrible experience with this company. They were contracted to reface my cabinets and install a new counter. This was supposed to be completed approximately 10 weeks after signing the contract but took almost 8 months to get resolved fully. The counters were installed timely and with great work but that is where it went downhill. The refacing of the cabinets were a nightmare. The work started really late and was delayed several times after starting due to the manufacturer sending wrong doors etc (which I dont believe). The person coming completing the work confessed to me that he was thrown into it with no training as their previous subcontractors quit suddenly. After working on the kitchen for a full week (when I was quoted4 days to do the entire reface) he informed me that he had to be gone for a week to train how to do the job, WHAT?? Needless to say the job was poorly done, multiple visits to try to fix things. Arguing from the owner that these errors were normal and a lot of being informed with no return phone calls and ultimately less than stellar work at the end of the 8 months. Finally I filed a small claims suit against the company and they started to pay attention. Days before going to court the very arrogant owner sat in my kitchen arguing with me. Ultimately he didnt want to go to court because he knew he was wrong and finally agreed to a reduction in price and fixing some additional items. I was never a 100% happy with the end product but just needed this whole thing to be over with. Buyer be ware of this business. If they get it right its great but if they have any mistakes or issues they will not treat you right and will take advantage of the customer.

We absolutely love our new kitchen! We couldnt have asked for a better company to work with - excellent service, quick and fantastic work. Our kitchen is the new favorite spot to hang out in for our whole family now.

We love our new counter tops. They are the only company that would go over our existing counters. This saved so much effort, mess and expense not having to retile the backsplash.

We had our countertops installed 6 years ago and have had nothing but problems. After a few weeks we noticed our smooth tops becoming granular. A service agent came out and told us he had never seen this before. He scraped our counters down with a razor blade and removed the coating. The issue persists to this day. I have been told that it is caused by the cleaning products I use even though they were approved by the company. The CEO said he wouldnt honor my warranty. The edges are also chipping and seams are noticeable. Buyer be ware. I am sorry I didnt buy granite instead of this composite material.

Very disappointing experience. In the end, the kitchen counter tops look nice but it was very stressful getting there. Among many concerns, installer smoked in our garage without asking and didnt finish the job....was more concerned about getting out of work early than doing a good job. A job that should have taken a few hours ended up being 3 days. GT show room staff and owner are arrogant and owner is chauvinistic. Their main concern was getting their final payment, not providing good customer service, making sure the job was completed correctly initially and the customer was satisfied. Plumber GT recommended put under sink plumbing in backwards, was several hours late without calling and scratched our brand new sink on both sides. Very unfortunate experience and an apology from GT could have gone a long way. We have other work we would have liked them to do and friends who have inquired but cannot recommend.

We had granite transformations replace our countertop 2 months ago. At this point I would NEVER recommend them. I was very disappointed in the quality of the workmanship this company had to offer me. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is that I love the material and the overall look of my countertop. If you use this company you should take your own measurements and watch them very carefully as they install to make sure they know what they are doing because they didnt for my installation.We were told by the salesman several times that the company had professional installers and templaters. Our new countertop would be professionally measured and fit like a glove over our old countertop. The installers came to install and the product looked beautiful with a few exceptions. I pointed out the seam that was VERY visible, ugly and uneven. The seam was a tan color and my countertop is Grey! He shrugged his shoulders and said there was nothing they could do about it.My husband arrived home and it was immediately apparent to him that the measurements were off and the countertop was 3/4 inch too long in the space by my refrigerator. We called the company to have them come remove it and replace it. I was told it could not come off at that point. However I was also told not to place anything heavy on the countertop for 8 hours so it didnt move it!After several anxious phone calls the manager came to our house the next day. He said to continue with my plans for the backsplash that day that they could saw it off and make it even with the countertop. He was rude and short when I questioned their ability to do this and told me, I told you I would fix it, do you want me to or not! and when I pointed out the seam I was told that In the world of granite this is a pristine seam. Needless to say I was not happy.The same installer came back to fix the overhang and when he was done it was now 1/8 inch too short and not even! I again recieved the same shrug. The manager again came out and said they could replace it however at this point I have completely lost faith in this company and do not want to risk ruining my backsplash that goes over the top of the counter or my newly painted cupboards and new floor! He did fix my seam with a grey sealant (I have no idea why this wasnt done in the first place)but it is still not even and still not the pristine seam I thought I would have.I paid good money for what I thought was a high quality, professional product and I feel I did not get that. If I had to do it over again I would go with a true granite countertop since this company cannot make accurate measurements or high quality installation.

Worst company I have ever worked with. It took 3 times and a year and a half of them trying to get it right and I am still dealing with this mess. Everytime it was messed up they just blamed the company that cuts the rock. It is never there fault. I would never give them the time of day. If I could give them less then 1 star i would dont even deserve that.
