Zeigler of Grandville was our second Jeep dealer to stop at on the search for my perfect Jeep Grand Cherokee. I am so glad that no one bothered to ask if they could help at the first dealership. Shortly after we arrived as Zeigler, Jake Lancaster came out and asked us if he could help. I told him exactly what I wanted and he said they didnt have one on the lot but he could find me one. He was very easy to work with and there was no pressure to get more than what I wanted. From start to finish it was a flawless transaction.

I mean buying a truck is a big purchase and when you want answers to your questions even if they are silly, he had them. The whole staff was very nice and the best thing, no one was pushy! If we said no, they got it and left it at that. Pushy sales is a huge turn off to us and that was one thing we agreed on. They are not pushy, they simply just rock! They also make it happen and will not stop until then can!

Harold Zeigler is a great dealership. I just leased my 4th Jeep Grand Cherokee from them. We have always had a good salesperson, but we have been fortunate to have Ted Rabourn as our salesman for the last 2 leases. He is very knowledgeable, personable, and will go out of his way to make sure you are happy with the lease. He even remembered from the last lease to this current one that I really wanted a red Jeep and he had one available for me when we came to the dealership, without even asking me. We have also contacted him during the leases and he has always been great to deal with. Highly recommend!

Working with Rod Dewey to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee was a pleasure. He was honest, up front, and worked hard to help me find the appropriate vehicle for me for the price I could afford. Most importantly, he never talked down to me or treated me inferior because I was a young woman buying a used vehicle-- which I experienced at several other dealerships and was definitely not a fan of. Would recommend checking out Zeigler if youre in the market for a new to you vehicle.
BUYER BEWARE. Dont trust the vehicle quality without a warranty. Test drove a 2012 Acadia with a check engine light, salesman James said they would fix the issues prior to the purchase. I came back the next day with no check engine light and bought it as is. 200 miles later the same check engine codes came up along with a rough idle. Brought it back and they gave me a rental for 2 days and fixed the vehicle, they also paid for repairs, $450 total retail cost, I kept the receipt for my records. On my way home, I live less than 1 mile away, the check engine light came back on with the same codes. Called James back. He told me good luck and they wont do anything else for me. Also, the 2018 black Chevy Equinox they gave me as a rental had a check engine light that appeared on my 1st day using it after about 25 miles, same clunky idle as the car I bought. They will smile during the purchase process but leave you high and dry when the problems start. DONT BUY THE 2018 EQUINOX WITHOUT A WARRANTY. Better yet, dont buy from them at all. I would rather buy a car from Danny Devitos car lot in the movie Matilda than from this place. DATED 9/1/21

Excellent Dealer - I flew 1,000 miles to purchase a Maserati (that I had not seen in person) from this dealer. I drove it 1,000 miles home the next day. I would not have done this but the GM was extremely helpful and I had a good feeling about the dealer.This was night and day from my last highline purchase (Jaguar) which was awful.When I arrived, the car was EXACTLY as described (flawless) and all of the paperwork was EXACTLY as described (down to the penny).Its very refreshing to do business with a truly honest car dealer. Have taken vehicle in many times ...took several years for them to correctly diagnose a electrical problem that started almost immediately after purchasing the jeeps Cherokee new. Now they have had my vehicle since Tuesday morning its now Friday afternoon and they still havent got a tune up and cooling system issue fixed,the service dept is terribly slow...I will probably start using courtesy jeep ram on 28th and madison...once I get rid of this jeep Iwill probably never buy another one

This is our 7th vehicle at HZ. We have been fortunate enough to work with Jeff for all of our transactions. He has done an amazing job in taking care of us over the years. I wish I could give this place a 0 star. Went in here to buy a car, not only did I get told multiple different things about pricing, which just kept changing, as well as with the warranty I was told it would be a lot longer until I went to sign the papers and they switched it up. Not to mention they locked my extra spare key in a tool box so I couldn’t get that and they forgot to put the floor mats back in the car after cleaning them. Went to the dealer not even a week after having the car to get the windshield replaced (which it was damaged before I got and they told me they would fix) but also there was some weird things going on so as it was under warranty I figured I’d get it looked at. They gave me a rental car, which had dog hair all over the back of the car, an insane amount and it was so gross. As I use my backseat of my car I went back and told them that I would like a new one as this one was unacceptable, I got yelled at by a sales guy and told that they were “doing so much for me” when in turn they were just doing what the promised me and getting it looked at as it was under warranty. I was told to “drop the attitude” and many other rude things. I would NEVER purchase another car here.

We scheduled an appointment online to test drive a new car, and when we drove 30 mins out there we were greeted by a not very friendly salesman that said he didn’t know anything about the appointment, he walked around for 10 mins trying to find someone to help, only to find out the car was sold that morning. He never tried to help us find something different and we were very turned off by his lack of wanting to help, so we will be going to a different dealt to order as we were ready to purchase today.I understand that cars sell but it would have been helpful to have that communicate to us before our appointment instead of wasting over an hour round trip...or at least try to help us find something different.
My husband had been doing a lot of research on a new vehicle for our growing family. We have two boys, a 3 1/2 year and 11 month old, and they are both very tall for their ages. I have had nothing but bad experiences with their service department. Googled Zeigler Grandville service department hours just to drive a half hour to find out they were not correct and they were closed. When I went back they quoted me 45 minutes to an hour wait for an oil change, it took closer to an hour and a half. Lastly you cant schedule appointments for an oil change which most other dealerships allow you to do and would help avoid excessive wait times.

Typical Car Sales. Give you one price on the phone, when you get in the numbers dont match. Have to go talk to their managers every 5 minutes for 20 minutes to try to make you more invested in the deal so youll cave and get it over with. Bald faced lies on deals, sneaky price additions. Left and bought a truck from Courtesy, they dont work on commission. None of these sneaky sales tricks. Clearly had a deal with the associate, clearly stated the price was BEFORE trade and down payment, drove out there and he had my Trade Allowance hidden in the discounts, and it was LOWER than the agreed trade in price.Edit: What you could do to make the experience better? Dont lie to the customer and try to trick them into paying 7K more than you told them the price was.

I was trading in my truck and they gave me very fair price plus said they would keep the price when my new Jeep arrived even though I was going to keep driving my truck for the next several weeks and they did indeed keep it.Nate Vanryn was my sales person and was great to work with, Kept me updated and replied to all my questions about the Jeep build process and status. When I picked up my New Gladiator he even offered to laminate my window sticker while I was waiting to meet with Finance which was awesome!Finance was just as smooth and low pressure as Nate and had me in and out very quick.Another unexpected Bonus was when Nate contacted me after buying my Jeep to let me no there was another rebate that showed up that they would mail me a check for. This happened in the fall so this review is a little out dated. I needed a vehicle preferably a SUV. I moved from Florida to here. I dont have the best of credit, but I got a approved. Now im not going to have the place take all the blame but one thing that really bothers me was how the salesman treated me when I didnt agree with the deal. I was planning to see about doing something else to improve the deal so we both win. Then I got a text message that basically made me feel that I was bother and basically now not worth their time. So I decided after that text I got from the salesman was that I was never going back there ever.Update- brought it down to one star cause I called you guys and I havent heard from you at all for over 2 weeks. I will never go back to you guys no matter what. I was hoping to tell you why but I guess you guys dont care

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Ziegler Automotive in Grandville. i had the opportunity to work with the most genuine car salesman i’ve ever encountered, Anthony, and when i say this man listened to my concerns, took into account my lifestyle and my budget, and fought for me like no one has before, i am not exaggerating. i felt respected, appreciated, listened to, and never felt like i was getting the wool pulled over my eyes. i ended up purchasing a vehicle (which i wasn’t expecting to do that day) and at that, a completely different vehicle than what i had been looking for that honestly fits me so much better than my original choice. i have never had great luck with vehicles, and not knowing much about them personally, i always feel apprehensive any time i go to purchase a new car & my worries went away the second i sat at his desk. he was knowledgeable about the products and could walk me through any differences in body style, reasons why some cars are better than others, and always gave his honest opinion if i asked. i ended up leaving the dealership with a vehicle that was 8 years newer than the car i pulled up in, 120,000 less miles on it than what i had on my original car, and for $1,000 less than what i paid for my original vehicle. they literally offered me a deal i was unable to say no to. the process was quick and simple and i felt cared for and supported the entire time. i will continue to go back to this dealership as long as anthony works there (and also Jacob Thomas who handled my insurance and official documentation). If you’re questioning going to see them, you shouldn’t be. do it. i promise you won’t be disappointed.
Be careful with Zeiglers used cars. They are selling a 2017 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with 13k miles for $36k that has a serious engine problem. I suspect it may be a lemon and need a new engine. Im not saying dont buy a used car from them, but if you do, bring a friend that KNOWS cars and can tell if something is wrong, because their sales people will not tell you. IMO, a reputable dealership would deal with the engine issue BEFORE trying to sell the car, to someone who might not hear the problem.

Because I live 3.5 hrs away, I did a video walk around with Jake. I was nervous about buying a CPO car online, but he was honest and terrific to do business with. Jacob in finance was very helpful too. If youre hesitant about buying a car online, I recommend Jake because he really did an excellent job and made it an enjoyable experience.

My husband and I went to the Zeigler dealership in Plainwell first looking for two specific models of slate blue Jeeps. We had a very nice salesman named Jason Evans who explained the vehicles we saw on line were actually at their Grandville dealership. He called up to the Grandville location to help us out since we were already traveling from South Haven and he new we really wanted to specifically see those two models. He spoke with Nate VanRyn who verified those vehicles were still available at the Grandville location. By the time we drove to the Grandville location, Nate had the vehicles sitting in front just waiting for us to arrive. Nate was very helpful in explaining the differences in the models we were looking at and asking the reasons we would prefer one or the other. We took a test drive and we were hooked. Nate and all the people we interacted with at the Grandville Zeigler dealership were very friendly and quick to take care of us and we ended up driving home that evening in our new Jeep Grand Cherokee! We will definitely be back when it is time to purchase again in the future..thank you Nate. Also a call out to Jason Evans at the Plainwell dealership for sending us to Nate and keeping our purchase possible on the same day we started looking.
Zeigler is my favorite dealership to shop at. Everyone is friendly and the cars are always in great condition. Crew and Jacob helped me out alot and was great company

For those of you who dread or fear the car-buying experience, dread no more. CJ Lindquist makes the process fun, easy, and as honest as the day. We purchased a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and got exactly what we wanted. It was prepped to perfection, and full of fuel when we pulled out of the lot. Jacob took care of all the paperwork, which if you are in the car business, you know is a nightmare. Thanks to all our friends at HZ.
I would not do business with this dealership. Perhaps some humility and the use of the word sorry.....it goes a long way in business
Justin our sales person was super helpful and got us into a vehicle that we really liked. We were told that they would shop rates for us which they didnt and we ended up getting a high rate for our vehicle. Now I am stuck refinancing our rate myself and we are saving 2% on our loan. Make sure they actually do what they say. Now Im stuck refinancing the vehicle instead of it being a purchase and I could have possibly received an even lower rate.
