The people here are very friendly and do what they do very well. They bent custom pipe for my jeep with a small block chevy. It came out of the shop better than I couldve imagined. Very great service!

Everyone here is super friendly and being woman coming in to get my car fixed I’m always a little wary on where to bring my car into. But I always feel comfortable and they always tell me straight up what’s the issue and how much to fix it. They don’t cut corners and they are very honest people. I will continue to go to them until I move out of this area. 10384737/10 would recommend!

I came in to get my exhaust fixed it would’ve been $155 to get my exhaust fixed when they checked it out all it needed was to be welded and the clip to be fixed they had me in and out within 45 minutes and it was only $20 the nice gentleman that looked at my vehicle saved me $130 I’ll recommend service from them to anyone

I used to go here for all exhaust work, but now I cant really say much about them, because every time, I tried to get some work done, they always are backed up for 2 weeks, so I bought a welder and taught myself how to weld. So I dont need them anymore.

Muffler bracket broke off, called to make an appointment and they fixed it the same day. Told them I didnt want anything extra as Im getting a new car soon anyways and they respected my budget! Car doesnt sound like a tank anymore lol Awesome service, will definitely come back with any future problems.

My car was making this terrible sound when I drove so I brought it to the nearest car shop. Dustin and Larry were so beyond helpful and acted fast to make sure I was in and out. I am a college student who is busy and on a budget. They made sure the fix was timely and affordable all while being super friendly. I bought a car from an individual who stated the catalytic converter rusted and fell off on the highway years ago. These guys found out not only was the CC missing, but it had been ripped off along with all of the flex piping AND there was a hole in my muffler. YIKES. I was able to get everything I needed to make my exhaust super quiet, out the door for only $10 more than these guys originally quoted me for an estimate. I am super impressed with this place and love that they do free inspections if something is wrong with your vehicle. I will be bringing my vehicles here in the future for sure. Went to drop off my Honda fit, when they just opened. Owner says wait just a bit let me see if its a quick fix. They pulled it in and checked it, fixed it, pulled it out.No charge, it was just the heat shield loose.I was there about 10 minutes.Fabulous place! Ive been to this shop a few times now and I have nothing to complain about. I recently took my vehicle in to have a starter replaced that I had diagnosed myself and had planned on replacing myself, but the bad weather brought me here. I knew 100% the starter was going out because a few taps with my pliers brought it back to life. I supplied my own part and they installed it for $120.00. I think what I paid is fair knowing how difficult the top bolt on the starter is to reach.

Decent experience, I have a low car so they couldn’t get it on the lift but all you have to do is jack up either end of the car and slip the lift arms underneath (as done on a few other lifts). I appreciate them at least trying to help me out but then the guy was slightly passive aggressive about it being to low for them (because they clearly don’t have the resources to work on a car of this type) and said, “there is better ways to lower a car”. He also got the car stuck on something and I watched them nervously get it unstuck from whatever was hitting. Not surprised it happened but more so annoyed they wouldn’t mention it to me because they looked nervous about it and I watched it from inside. I did not want to be an a** to them so I just let it go since I’m the one who chose to have a low car. All in all they are probably a fine go if you have a good ole classic point A to point B car but if you are trying to go to point C then you might be pushing it lol.

Affordable auto repair

Came to have my muffler looked at/replaced. I got in within the same day, received a free exhaust inspection, and had a muffler express ordered and installed within an hour! Try to ask for non OEM as it cut the price in half for parts and allowed it to be done the same day. The guys in the garage were super quick, professional, and the owner is very honest and kind. Great for muffler work!

I have been coming to this Muffler Man for over 10 years now. I have tried other mechanics throughout the years due to living between different cities in the US, and none compare to the care, prices & honesty I receive here. Leo is a wonderful, honest mechanic and always diagnoses and fixes the problem (instead of other mechanics Ive encountered that try different parts until something works.) He and his staff also check your car out for free, which is nice when youre not sure what is wrong or just need a safety check before a big trip. Hell tell you if anything is going on, and whether or not it needs to be fixed right away. His prices are the best Ive seen in GR and for good quality work. Last time I was there, he offered to do some work even for free just for being a loyal customer, I wanted to give him a little something for his work, but he insisted not. I saw him do the same thing to another customer that day while I was waiting. I also take my car here for all my oil changes and brake jobs. Always does a great job on my brakes, and for the best prices Ive seen. Thanks Leo for keeping my car in great shape all these years! :)

Brought my car in to have the breaks looked at. Turns out I needed 4 new break pads and rotors... was done at an extremely fair price and I left feeling EXTREMELY confident that my vehicle was safe to drive. I will definitely be coming back here for any future work!

I have been going to this shop over the last year for my oil changes. This last time three weeks ago. After a week and only driving it 150 miles, I heard a knocking in my engine. I had a friend listen to it. We checked the oil it was very BLACK!!!!! I then had my friend change the oil. The oil filter had not been changed as it was collapsing in on its self!!! When I called to see what this place would do, the owner called me a liar. He stated that if they change oil they change the filter. Obviously this did not happen as the filter that we took out of the car was colapsing in on itself!

Extremely happy with the experience I had here. My mom and I stopped in today with her vehicle, which desperately needed exhaust work. They were able to get us in a couple hours later. They presented us with two different estimates for repair, both of which were very reasonable, and they had the job done within an hour. All of the guys were really friendly as well, especially the guy at the counter (didnt catch his name). I would definitely go there again.

Went there because my car was really loud and I assumed it was my exhaust or muffler. They quoted me about 600 for an exhaust system, but since my car is older, they gave me the option to have them completely remove one muffler and just weld a pipe from the part of the exhaust system that wasn’t broken. I went with the pipe that they did by hand and they only charged me 80 dollars for the work. They’re also super friendly and nice

It looks like this place is feast or famine, depending on your service/expectations. The prices are cheap and theyre one of the few places that dont require you to buy the parts from them. That allows me to buy parts with lifetime warranties from Autozone or elsewhere without having to put it in myself. For those who keep cars a while, this will become cost effective the second time you need to replace brake pads. It is understandable that some of the help wouldnt have gone to etiquette school.

It was a pretty good experience. I was a little unsure about going there, but I really needed my muffler looked at, I could hear it dragging when I hit bumps, and the roar of my vehicle alone was enough to cut through most noise canceling headphones. I showed up with no appointment, and they were busy, but the gentleman behind the counter told me to return at 2:00. They close at 3, but by 2:30 my vehicle is roaring into the rack, and by 3:15 or so theres a new resonator on my car and she is purring again. I am thankful for the kind service I received today. I even got a quote for future repairs.

Great service and quick. When you need something done right and you dont want to pay dealership prices you must come here. They will even install parts you bring with you which saves you even more money. Waiting area has a tv and vending machines and a coffee maker.

I had some exhaust work done here in the spring which needed to be fixed just a few days ago. I was not pleased with that. However, the guys were very easy to work with and the repair was covered under warranty. Also, my vehicle ran out of gas while in their bay. They loaned me a gas can to go get some more gas, helped me push it out of the bay, and even assisted with starting fluid when it needed a bit of priming. Very friendly guys.

Awful place to take your vehicle. Was quoted $530 for exhaust work and fuel lines. Exhaust work wasnt completed as they said it would be (2 days after they said it would be done). Was still charged $500 dollars and they screwed up my gas fill tube. They said they wouldnt fix it and sent me on my way with an empty tank. Absolutely will not do business again, which is unfortunate because I have multiple vehicles. Save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere.

Top quality work for a fair price, only place I bring my cars for muffler work.

This place quoted me $700 to replace a piece of flex pipe(attached to a catalytic converter) plus two O2 sensors for a 2006 Chrysler town and country, who EVER paid $700 for a freaking EXHAUST job??? I bought the parts myself for $130, took it to Parker Brake Auto Center(Chicago and Ivanrest, minutes from this Muffler Man location), and paid $96 here to get it fixed. I paid a grand total of $226 to get my exhaust fixed (FAR less than HALF what Muffler Man quoted me)because I chose NOT to get it done at MM!!! Screw paying all that!! I kept that $474 in my pocket, thanks to Ebay and Parker Brake Auto Center😊😊Dont give this Muffler Man the time of day!

I had to tow my truck there because the brakes were seized up and they got the emergency/parking brake cable loosened up and working again... And NO charge! Thats truly rare!

I would have given these guys a 4 or 5 star afters years of service on my first car but what made sure I never go back is them making my truck worse after fuel pump change cause my truck to max RPMs just starting it after picking the keys up and after waiting for 40mins one of guys fix the issue and my final issue was my last oil change they cross thread my pan bolt causing small leak and bolt not able to be remove which I didnt realize until trying to change oil myself. I called them and told situation which they agree to fix, so after driving across town from Comstock Park the guy at the front desk refuse to work on the truck due to difficulty of removing the bolt b4 even handing the keys over to him after being told on the phone THEY WOULD FIX IT FOR ME

I live about 3 minutes from the standale muffler man but drive the extra distance to come here because the prices here are that much better plus they always stick to their estimate and dont try to upsell other things to you by pointing out every little thing wrong with your vehicle, theyll advise you on things that need attention but wont attempt to guilt you into other services. Will always bring my vehicles here.

Had exhaust work done 2 years ago all of the welds that were done in the shop are failing.The tailpipe fell off, when I called they informed me all work is only warranted for 1 year, including all of their bad welds. Dont take your car here they dont care about the customer
