I live in Florida now and cannot replace Sew Unique by Jackie!!! When I visit Florida sewing/quilt shops, the owners are amazed at what Jackie offers and does. They cannot replicate what she does, and they admit it. I was so lucky I had the chance to sew with Jackie, her staff, and the wonderful people that sewed with her. Jackie cares so much about her customers and goes our of her way to help them. Shes saved me from my own sewing boo boos, and I have seen her resurrect a childs blanket that was absolutely tattered in spots. Jackie knew the blanket was very dear to the child and found a way to save it. Basically this is Jackie in a nutshell: kind, caring, incredibly knowledgeable, just down right awesome!!!

This is an amazing quilting store with a huge selection to cover all your interests. That staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly. Make sure you say hi to jean mellinger when you stop in.

This is what a sewing shop should be. They’re friendly and knowledgeable and the selection of materials is excellent. Their hours are also generous. My mother and my daughter have taken lessons (quilting and sewing), and are enthusiasts for Jackie’s shop.

We bought masks there and discovered a very cool shop. I will go back.

Great selection of quality fabric at very fair prices. Beautiful examples of quilts and sewing projects! I especially appreciate the floriani supplies for machine embroidery. Jackie and the staff are always willimg to answer my sometimes stupid questions with kindness and patience. Would definitely recommend shopping here.

I love this place! Its a hidden gem!! The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. I couldnt have been any luckier to find a place like this in northern Indiana!!

I must have caught them on a bad day. I understand if a business no longer does formal gown alterations - they are really difficult and time-consuming. But I would expect a business to be polite when crushing your dreams. A brusque, We dont do those. and that was it. I tried to ask additional questions about where I might find someone who does, but they became even more short with me. I felt so incredibly unwelcome. I love to sew, but I wont be going there for fabric any time soon.

Ive known Jackie for about 4- 5 yrs and I can say that Jackie has gone above and beyond (when she was able to.) Jackie and her crew of awesome and caring professional ladies always do their best to accommodate the customers that either spend their hard earned money on classes, Quilts, or in my case my Dress Blues Class -A Army uniform. Jackie pays attention to details ( so please make sure you do your best to give her ALL the right information) Sew Unique by Jackie is a great place for anyone of any age to take a class if youre a beginner like myself, or a seasoned pro like the ladies who make those awesome quilts. Jackie is mad tight, yo. Her repair game is on point. Ive been back multiple times and will continue doing business because she runs a good operation.

I like the friendly staff here. The fabric in the clearance room is wonderful and i always end up getting more than I was planning.

Most horrible experience. My son has cancer and had an amputation and I wanted to get some fabric sewed up and they responded that they dont have time for that kind of thing.
