Everything went well this time, besides the overbearing guy who refused to budge on a Navy model plane, so I ended up walking away. He wanted $25, and all he had to do is say $20 and I would have purchased from him, but instead he came pushy and rude saying Ill never find it cheaper online! When you stroll down the middle outside hes the 1st set up on the left. Other than him, my experience was amazing! I got a very nice cane with a cool looking skull as the handle, which unscrews into a very nice blade! All for $25 bucks! Then to top it off, on my way out, 1st shop on the left (right if ur coming in), I went into a cool record store and found the bee gees 1968 Idea vinyl for only $10 bucks! Its like new no kidding! All in all I give this flea market 5 out of 5 stars! There will always be a seller that is not so cool, and I never judge a place because of one person. I take a look at the entire place and go from there! Will I go back? Most certainly!!!

Lovely mom and Pop shop two retired lovelies I met the wife when I went there she gave me an in depth history on the start of their antique anomaly shop i found some CLASSIC VINYLS and when I tell you... everything absolutely is better in vinyl... how I miss those days but they are quickly returning... this place brought me back and they even have modern things that mix with the old school classics..I think I was part way too heaven in this store I could have FeinheitCertainly spent all my money on the rare findings but instead I told her Id just keep coming back and next time with more people

The new Route 66 Flea Market is unbelievable! Brand new rental spaces with that Old West feel. You can lease a commercial storefront, all inclusive, and we’re open all year round. The other units are just as nice for 1/3 the cost. The Flea Market has so much to offer: Restaurant/bar & grill, consignment shops, head shops, quality antiques & boutique retailers, marketing and promotions, and hosts events like auctions, art galleries, live music and theatre performance...the list goes on. You can even rent a u-Haul while you’re there if you buy more than you can take home. This isn’t weekends only! Many shops are open every day. ANYTHING is possible at Route 66, a true community hub. Stop in! Hours vary from vendor to vendor.

I wasnt aware that they opened up a new side or was just blind sided each week until now. The vinyl is sweet! There are plenty of other folks there as well with some pretty cool items!

I got a really good vacuum for a really great price! The people were friendly, and the variety of mini-shops to walk into and look around is nice.Edit: I just got another like new vacuum for the office. Same brand too! They always test it in front of you. 12/16/17. I also got a small Christmas tree for the office for just $5.00!

The location is random and not great for sightseeing. But the Flea market has amazing vendors, very friendly staff workers and vendors and the prices are well, low low low! Love this flea market. Huge variety of items all ranging from baby items, households, toiletries, clothing, food, tobacco, electronics, arts and crafts, collectibles, etc. They even serve great food at a low price. :) highly recommended.

It was hot as heck... Very small not enough vendors... Was much much better when it was next door..hopefully it turns around.

Places pretty awesome most of the vendors were already gone some of them were closing but welcomed me and to take a look around before they left everybody was friendly with an interesting selection throughout the venue. Perfect place to spend an afternoon on the weekends...

I enjoy going to flea markets as you never know when youll find something you didnt know you couldnt live without it. There is a wide assortment of things available, but since theyve moved into the smaller space, its a lot more crowded and there are fewer vendors.

Cant wait for more vendors, but like what is already there.

Ever since the new part was built and all of the vendors moved there this place has been dead. There just isnt anything going on here anymore.

Disappointed, hardly anyone open on the Friday of July 4th weekend...is that a normally slow weekend there?

The flea market has downsized. Its in the large building that used to be a church. They are opened Fri, Sat & Sun 10am until 4pm. I just love Marys shop. Its on the corner entrance. She has new and great deals every week. I highly suggest a visit or two.....

This is a very quaint place. You can find just about anything. The staff is wonderful. Most of the vendors are as sweet as can be. The vendors can get a little pricey, but most of them are willing to come down on the price. The little cafe has great food at good prices. Debs Corner is the best place for vape juice. Her husband Jim will mix any flavor you want at no extra charge. Overall its one of the best flee markets Ive ever been to. ⭐⭐👍👍

This place is a joke! It looks nothing like these pictures. It’s a hole in the wall selling closeout dollar general store merchandise. I even had my husband take me back and double check it was the right place. It’s sad. Such false advertising.

I love 💜💜💜 this place. I can get laundry detergent, shampoo & conditioner, razors, etc all brand new for almost half the price at the store. One place even has diapers and pull ups. I definitely recommend stopping their in the wadmer months because there are more areas open but they are there year round.

Had made a appointment with A gentleman who has a table just inside the Gate who advertised on granite city yard sale on facebook he was very nice he was selling A electric Fire place insert like new for a 3rd of the price and was nice enough to bring it to me from Carlyle IL and hold it till he was going to be at the route 66 flea market witch saved me a long drive and the item was very nice he even plugged it in so I could test everything before I bought it my wife is very happy with it and that makes me happy thanks 💑

Lots of stuff never know what you will find. Tools, toys, office furniture and more. Its always worth walking around to see what you can find.

Since most vendors are outside, the place can be hit or miss, dependent on the weather. Parking can be a challenge when the market is busy. I enjoy the variety offered at the flea, and unlike antique malls vendors are present, which means haggling may get you a better price.
