I was missing a good ice cream place ever since I moved from my old place. Mr Twist filled that gap pretty good. They have a wide selection of ice cream and other desserts. My only qualm was the fact that their containers were very leaky.

Without any doubt the best ice cream I have ever had wonderful flavors they change every day. The owner Felicia works so hard to make sure anybody who brings up a flavor she will try it if she can.This ice cream and sherbet has been at the corner for a long lot of years 42 now. She works a lot of different charities for the community and in the fall always Will host a guns and hoses for the community.Her specialties change every day and she is famous for the sherbet and all her flavored ice cream’s. Try the strawberry it’s amazing and Felicia is amazing.Go by there and tell her hello she’s a wonderful person

They never disappoint. The service is always friendly. The menu is creative and plentiful. The flavors always bring me back and keeps me craving! If youre looking for an ice cream shop this the one. :)

This is the best ice cream in Granite city hands-down due to the frozen sherbet it is handmade and the recipe has been passed down generations from the mother and the daughter owning it together to just being the daughter now she is the sweetest woman and she has so many events for the community she’s truly an asset and so is her business there is another dairy bar that is located across town both of them bring different aspects to the community and both are and very respectful to each other and I appreciate that the most and I think that’s why the city loves both of the ice cream places in our town, The Owners are amazing WOMEN in business!

Been visiting for years. This is a classic hometown ice cream shop, with a wide variety on the menu. A summertime fixture. Great place to stop after an evening walk around the Park.

The ice cream and all is good my problem is with their tables they wobble and are uneven. It was cause of this that me and my familys ice cream fell and ive gone here a lot with my family normally not much problem but i feel personally a discount or made new since it was cause of the table wobbling knocking down the ice cream and the lack of new tables is kinda disappointing i was gonna give the place a 3 star at first cause its still good but the owner decides to after we payed for 3 new ones to come complain and try to make a liar out of us she says if there wobbly howcome no one else has a problem with them your the owner you should know im the paying customer and i feel there should be bathrooms also in case someone wants to make me look like a liar i saw one of the employees checking the table and says it wobbles if you want ice cream thats good and dont care about the tables or the owners attitude go for it but i personally wont be visiting again or recommending the place

The ice cream is good and service is friendly. It would be awesome and five stars if they had at least one dairy free option for lactose intolerant people. My husband cant have any of the sundaes, concretes, etc here because of the lack of dairy free options.

What can I say? Never disappointed when I come here. Try the black raspberry when they have it.

Great little walk up ice cream shop with a variety of options. It was our first time there and they offered for us to sample their ice cream and sherbert. Both were delicious and I typically dont like sherbert. Reasonable prices and great customer service!

I love this place just because it has been in business for as long as I have been living in G.C. --A true local treasure. The menu is so extensive with so many unique options, itll take you a moment to choose. The quality is top notch and they consistently deliver awesomeness year after year.

Mr. Twist ice cream shop is family owned business. It located on Madison Avenue in Granite City. They have the best ice cream I have ever tasted. There slushies are delightful. There prices are very affordable.

An iconic granite city establishment with great service and great sherbet. The ice cream is great as well but the sherbet is out of this world. Been going here for over thirty years and never had a single bad experience. Just glad I get to bring my kids here just like my parents brought me here!

The owners help out the community often and are sweet women. Theyre only open from spring to fall making it somewhat of a seasonal thing. Other than the machine trouble they had last year its a great place to cool down

I miss that older lady that worked there she was so sweet and after she passed away I was hoping that the family would keep the business go in mom pop shop for ice cream always pleased with their service even when they run out of butter scotch my daughter piper likes that place better the dairy queen or its close to the park and she knows it the tables and benches need to be redone but hey its ouside in fresh air walking distance to the park I support local business we all struggle time to time and memories are worthwhile a nice ice cream cone ask the kiddos Hows their day at school and get them off the phones and electronics take them to the park have fun dont be so busy with life and forget what your living for

I remember whenever I was younger, And I could go here and get whatever I wanted off the menu.. If I wanted Sherbert.. It was there...If I wanted a root beer float.. it was there.. Turtle sundae it was there.. this past summer not so much. Been down there multiple times..Ive Been Told were out of orange sherbert. We dont have any root beer today. We do not have chocolate dip at the moment. When all your kids want is a large orange sherbet cone with sprinkles and theyre told they are not able to get it because lack of stock.. its pretty upsetting. I mean after all it is supposed to be the Home of the Sherbert. Maybe we need too step it up a little.. Get it together.

This is a fabulous little place. There customer Service is A1 superb.. We have come from Cahokia,IL and will return again.

This place is amazing, they opened up the year that I was born and I have actually been going there my whole life, they hold special events of all kinds there and the family that owns it is outstanding citizens of our community and they help out with law enforcement and the city all they can and they always find new ingredients for their ice cream, they also have other items like bbq on weekends and they are a blessing all around

Maryville has Bobbys we have Mr Twist. Best Hot Fudge Malts abywhere around and a family owned business. Marys tradition is being carried on by her daughter and now they are bringing back the bbq on the weekends too. Great place to get your fattening fix.
