My catalytic converter was stolen off of my RV while it was stored at this facility. This place has stored vehicles vandalized frequently. Im going to move!

I’ve only had 24 hours experience with iStorage but, as far as storage facilities go, I’m impressed. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other companies’ storage units (like most people have), so I was still a little green before I booked my unit.. Thankfully, iStorage in Granite City (Off of Route 3) takes first impressions seriously!The climate-controlled unit I reserved on Sunday evening was ready by the next morning (offices closed on Sundays with customer service 24/7). Within 15 minutes of arriving at the office, with proper identification, the lease paperwork was finalized. Terms were very reasonable and easy to understand. No jargon, no interrogation. The manager, even escorted to me to the unit.The five star rating Is for the simple, concise, and professional manner in which my reservation was handled; along with the facility’s superb condition, desirable location, and ease of access for renters.Note Worthy:The store manager went out of her way to explain security options, gave me a brief overview of her facility, and a friendly reminder about common conflicts that can occur without knowledge of the lease terms; all while keeping conversation friendly and warm. They even offered very reasonably priced, heavy-duty locks. Everything you need is right there and I never had to ask questions. Just in case, the manager handed me a card with personal contact info, office hours & phone, email, and a great bit of assurance.The unit was clean and dry. Even the concrete looked brand new. Also, I love that every unit is monitored by security camera and gated access that only operates during certain hours. Every unit is easily assessable and you have the option for internal, external, Climate-controlled (or not), and commercial storage. Store an RV there if need be! This is the best you can find at affordable prices, great customer service, security, and a top-notch facility. Thanks to management for making my experience with iStorage pleasant. I’ll be sure to do business with you again.So far, so good. I’ll report back in a month! By the way, it’s only ONE CENT for the first month when you start your reservation online (Month of June). “Before” pictures coming this week. Book while you can!

Ive had an RV there for over 3 years here unable to move it because they allowed a full size semi and trailer to park in front of it. After numerous attempts to get it moved by local management. Its still there. Called the corporate offices NO RESULTS! Ive paid on time each month every month. So we shall see what small claims has to say next...

The staff online to the staff at the storage unit site have been great. Friendly, awesome, amazingly efficient. Answered every question I had promptly without having me hold to find the answer. Cant ask for a better place to store my personal things.

This place is so bad I would not give it any stars they told me if you don’t like it here leave so I am going to simply storage they have all paved sites and they are pull through covered sites I’m posting one of there pictures. Have made SEVERAL attempts to contact someone by phone and have never gotten an answer or returned call when a message has been left. Terrible service.

UPATE:My new RV was broken into along with about 5 others. Management told me to file a claim with my insurance. Not a secure facility at all but new cameras and better lighting was put up AFTER the break in. I believe someone took their time breaking in several Rvs and stored the stolen items in a storage locker. Nothing useful showed up on video.WORST STORAGE FACILITY EVER.I park my Motor-home here. The weed are really bad. Some as tall as 3 ft tall. I cleared my parking space and sprayed weed killer. The ground is very soft so I have ruts from pulling in and out. There is a pile of rock there. I tried to put more rock down but it didnt help. Just too soft. (Creek runs behind my spot.) Also there is a BIG mice problem. I have several sticky traps on the inside of my RV. Easily removing a couple of mice a week. Im looking for another spot to park

Shows no concern for security issues. Unresponsive to valid complaints to paying tenants. If you park your RV here good possibility that vandalism or theft will occur. Be aware of these issues

We were stressed and having a horrible time finding a storage and Uhaul to move in a quick weekend. Jeannie was so amazing and so helpful. She truly helped relieve a lot of the stress and anxiety we had. Would definitely recommend IStorage when youre looking for storage or Uhaul.

Dont use this facility we have been there for several years. Motorhome has been broken into 2 times now. Misty refused to go through the video then said the cameras dont reach that far even though we pay the same amount we dont have the same security as everyone else. Either Misty has not contacted her boss or they just dont care about the customer because we have yet to hear from the owners.We have asked twice now and she only took our information 1 time. A police report was made and I will speak to them and have them request the video footage since she refuses to look at it. There is another motorhome 3 spots down that has door damage but she didnt even bother to come look at ours. Or they knew it and just dont care. I have closed my account and filled a complaint with the BB Aliance on 4/16/2020 over these issues.

New to this facility. Misty (office personnel), was very friendly. It was a quick lease; nothing complicated.

Customer service was great easy to get everything set up. I rented the covered area for my RV everything was great I would of given a five star except the gravel area in front of my spot needs fixed had to use four wheel drive to get the RV into the spot.

Experience was pleasant and professional.Was setup within 15 minutes or so. All went well.

Misty was very informative and quick. I was done with renting my unit in about 15 mins.

The only problem that I have with the Granite City location is the parking lot. It had been neglected for so long that there are huge pot holes that literally rock your camper like its going to fall over. Then there are the mud holes that will get the wheels, tires and sides of your camper so muddy it has to be washed again and again. I have not complained about the many price increases that they have given us but I am not happy about the parking lot situation. Please respect your customers and take care of your property.

We rented a storage unit with Ace Storage for just under a year. No problems and a clean unit. At some point it changed hands to iStorage. With the possibility of the banks auto pay being late, Septembers rent was paid a second way AND they still cashed the banks check causing a double payment. We closed the unit in September. It is December and we have yet to be reimbursed for the double payment after several promises. If this ever gets resolved my rating will go up.
