I go here almost every week. There are plenty of books on sale for up to half the cover price, popular YA books from social media, and also childrens and elementary school level novels and stories. And for the adults, theres an entire isle for you. If anybodys a classical reader, you can find those type of books as well.I love this store so much, and the customer service is amazing! If you ask about a certain book or series, theyll most likely have it and will show you to it. But if they dont, you can ask to put in an online order.Definitely worth the five stars.

What a cool store I never been in there until just the other day that store is so neat it has some great Childrens Learning books and learning games and boy is it organized unlike the other stores Ive been in this place knows right where anything is all you have to do is ask him if you dont know what youre looking for or where to go

Had what I wanted: Outlander

Ive always loved this store. I used to shop there when I was younger but dont have the luxury now that I live in Portland. I highly recommend it. Its small and family friendly but has a wide variety and will order something if they dont have it. They also offer used books and you can bring books in to receive store credit which I just love.

This independent business has been a go to for years. Not just for books but for good quality toys and gifts for children. Also to see and listen to guest authors. My grandson has been a fan since toddler-hood as well.

Just discovered this place. Went in with a list of 8 books and ended up only finding 3. The book variety is awesome, and the place is well organized. I also really how they offer ordering online and requesting orders for books. The staff and service were really friendly and didnt hesitate to help me find books. Even though I didnt find all of the books on my list, I would still come back to this store to buy all my books.

I do not who the person was that rated it worse service ever, but sometimes you just have to say, something was off that day as a former manager of a store, please ... always give the owner or manager a chance to hear about and fix the problem. then if they dont your complaint is legitimate. and here is the best .... it goes hand in hand to let store owners and managers and staff know when they have pleased you. word of mouth in a small community is an owners best advertisement. telling others without telling the owner ... wont fix the problem.

This is an amazing store with amazing staff. The online ordering system of Oregon Books is awesome. Although they can not possibly have every book listed on the site in stock, they can order it and have it arrive in just a few days,with no extra charge! Right under the add it to cart button, it notes that it is available to ORDER. So, if you want to see if they have it in stock, just give them a call before you head in!

Employees are nice. However, this maybe biased review as my other half works there. Its quiet. When a question is asked they are quick, kind, and professional.

I have been looking for a book on growing grape vines, Oregon books didnt have onein stock, but the very helpful clerk went online and found exactly what i hoped for, that is great customer service.

Oregon Books is the best. I enjoy going in and looking for books, the staff is very friendly. Ordering books on their website is very easy and I recommend trying them out if you havent. They have great programs for middle schoolers and are just a good store.

Worst experience ever! I was trying to pick presents up for my girls teachers. The staff were on top of you like a hawk. The lady at the front counter will lecture you like she is your mother. Worst customer service, and the owners only reply to the negative comments trying to blame the customers for their bad service. Will never go back.

This store is a real gem! They have not only books (new and used ) and games, but a great sense of humor, and a willingness to help. I have purchased gifts for all ages, from card games to some from the Klutz line. .and books on CD. There should be a gold star on the map for these folks! !

Worst customer service EVER!!! I was looking for a book online and found their website which said they had the book in stock. Got up early and drove there before work only to find they did not have it after waiting forever for the rudest lady in the world to tell me she could order it for an extra charge. I would not recommend going there unless you want to be treated like a huge inconvenience....
