We showed 1.2 hours before close, was told we couldnt bowl and that he wanted to close early... after talking it over they said we could bowl 1 game, then right before we start he comes and says hes splitting us lanes to make it faster... he then says its just the one game unless someone else shows up. more people showed up, they did the talk, let them bowl and then more people...he told them no and keep in mind there is an hour left...they threw a fit and got to bowl.... he just turned down 8 people to bowl then let god friends start another game... this isnt how you do business... I get it slow and closing early but gosh...

Just got done having a birthday party at this establishment, the clerical staff was kind of to reset our lanes when they went down. The overall atmosphere was still inviting kovid notwithstanding. Overall 5 out of 5 good family good fun good times.

Not a bad place. Overall very clean facilities and lanes. Very limited selection on bowling ball choices, rental shoes are old and worn out, and overall building is old. Other than that, friendly staff, enjoyed my time there.

Very kind workers. Fun and laid back. But i could imagine getting upset if i were a real bowler. Stuff happens farely often with the machines. I dont care becauae we are just having fun but sometimes people we bring get a little upset.

They were wonderful! We did my twin daughters 10th birthday there over the weekend and the kids had a blast and the staff was great!

Prices were pretty average, the environment was clean and maintained COVID-19 guidelines, but the man working at the alley was kind of rude and didnt seem to have any customer service skills. Food options were a little limited.

Had my grandsons birthday party here. With 8 boys and 1 girl it was a great party. Grandson turned 11. For the birthday package, it fit the budget. Kids had a blast and the adults had entertainment also. Great place.

Good safe place to hang out with friends, get a little exercise and feel alive

What fun! Its been so many years that Id forgotten how to bowl but we had a blast. If you are bowling for the first time in awhile, we recommend you only try 1 or 2 games. It is a lot of exercise! Snack bar and alcohol available during specific hours. Nice folks.

Love this place. One of the best people on staff is a fiercely kind (I know but it was the only description that truly fit) woman by the name of Judy Dees. She’s a firecracker and funny and makes the place amazing. She’s no nonsense and makes the place great. Reasonable prices and good family atmosphere.

A good fun place to take your kids when it is open bowling. Cosmic bowling on Saturdays at 8pm is fun with the black lights and bowling balls that glow in the black lights. Bowling is a great family activity at Caveman Bowling.

This place is getto and pretty lame and arcade games sometimes work sometimes dont and open randomly the only thing i like about this place is its free in summer for kids

A little run down owners could be friendlier in my opinion. Three different lanes three different problems with the pins the ball returns and the computer system.. We went to the cosmic bowl but wasnt as awesome as we had expected. Snacks were affordale and pretty tasty. A plus is they offer military discounts and you can register kids online for a summer program called kids bowl free. We did have fun and played two games..

I come here every Friday with a small group of disabled adults to bowl, and they have a blast. The bowling alley has more then just us if I had to guess about 50 special needs people come and they run a deal for everyone involved so its not to expensive to do every week plus they have a bunch of things to help them like 5lbs balls to bumpers or the ramo to roll the ball down for the guys with restricted movement. Great job to the people who run the place, keep up the good work.

The worst customer service I have had in a long time. We went to play a game at 5 said we couldnt because it was league night and it started at 7. So since we were there thought I would ask if I could get a drink and the lady just didnt want to be bothered or anything. Like it was an inconvenience to have to do her job.

It was ok except for the part where my Reese’s cups and good and plenty I bought were MOLDY And our lane broke down twice in one game and even when I did go up to tell them they didn’t say anything and didn’t look at me ether they just left and Eventually fixed it. And that’s why I leave two star. ( good frys tho )

Needs a bigger arcade.. And not sure if it has fountain drinks.. But that would be nice!

This is a great environment not the most modern place but very friendly.

Nice. Can finally find the place with Google map with picture of the place and location. One big bewares of the of the place. When renting the lockers they ask for phone number,but they dont use it when you get behind. You can lost hundreds of dollars. Have fun I did on league. But dont forget to get your stuff out.

Well its the only place in town to bowl so its treated as such. They seem to care just enough to over charge you to bowl but not enough to open the bar or snack bar. The rental shoes and balls are old and worn out but the lanes and scoring seems somewhat up to date. I guess if you are bored then go here.

Unfortunately I have not had good experiences at this establishment. I have been here on 3 separate occasions and all of them left a bad taste in my mouth. The staff seem annoyed with you, almost as if they dont want your business. The girl at the bar actually sighed when we asked for a pitcher of beer then got very sarcastic. The sound system is horrible and the music seems to cut in and out when the speakers decide to work. The lanes themselves are maintained, and other than the staff we have been able to make the best of it when we have gone. If you dont mind the drive I would recommend going to Medford instead.

Deserves 0 stars!! Worst customer service I have ever received. Cindy the manager was so rude. I called ahead of time to try and schedule and reserve some lanes for my sons birthday. They told me I couldnt do that. So I pick a time thats not so busy there so I know will get a lane. We just arrive and she is rude asking how many. I ask her to hold on were trying to figure it out still she responds rudely asking again how many. Then looks at someone that is with us and says that that soda has to go. Then scoops out the tables were sitting at and says yep those cupcakes have to go to. I said we cant have cupcakes for a little kids birthday. She said nope not unless you schedule it ahead of time. And was extremely nasty. She said and we already have a birthday scheduled so youll have to come back later. So we take them outside. My grandpa asks her if he can pay a fee for the kids to be able to eat the cupcakes. She said it is 15.95( Its 15 something). So we bowl and when we are leaving there was a guy and kids eating little Caesars pizza. So these people probably regulars can eat little caears pizza but our 10 kids ( aging from 3-10) in the party couldnt eat there cupcakes?!?!?! Next time well go to Medford to bowl.

Great place to bowl, get a beer, and some tasty fried food or burgers. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. We love having a local bowling alley that isnt too expensive or hyped up. Lots of fun.

First off, I would like to say I will be going back. Heres the Pros and Cons.Pros:Shoes, Lanes, Bathrooms were clean and in great condition.Great local atmosphere.Usually short wait.Bartender and cooks are friendly and pay attention to detail.Cons:Balls were organized in such a manner that finding the right size that fits was difficult.Video games were mostly inoperable.

This place is a great place to bowl but there are a few problems to it and a few positives to it. First off with the problems is that the the lanes tend to mess up a lot. Today i was here and my lane messed up 7 times. A positive thing is that sometimes it has a disco party. Their music is a classic type of theme but also have pop songs. This place has GREAT food. People should come here sometime.

The cafe stops serving anything other than fryer goods at 8 when theyre open. The beer is massively overpriced. Otherwise we had a good time cheering on my work team bowling

Horrible customer service! We tried to have a birthday party for my 5 and 8 year old daughters. They were rude, refused to let us bowl and said we needed a weeks notice to have a party there.The website says 3 days notice, but we called a week in advance anyway, they specifically told us on the phone that there were no reservations and it was first come, first served and that we should arrive early to ensure we get a lane.When we arrived they changed their story saying they don’t allow parties there, then saying that they do allow them wit one weeks notice (not what was said on the phone when we called a week prior.

Did the New Years bowling tonight. Way different than usual. No prizes, no countdown. Was kind of bummer. I bowled good though.

Service was great, good food, friendly staff! Overall, Id say, Its a great place for family and friends. =)

Ridiculously expensive but I guess with being the only bowling alley in town they can charge the hell out of you. Shoes are old, multiple balls had huge chips in them. Bar was closed and they were only serving food out of the fryer. The whole point of going here was to be able to feed the kids, have a drink, and bowl. Was overall a MISERABLE experience. Id advise everyone to go anywhere but here.

When my family and I first arrived they front desk people were down straight rude but we let it slide. One of my family members name was David. But the woman put it as babe and we found it kinda funny. So my father goes and trys to change to name to David. The women just says you should have told me before now I in the front desk says You should have told me before now I cant change it and the rudest manner ever. So we go back to our lane and got lowkey annoyed. And the woman actually changed it to David. Most of the people tried to have fun but they would be walking around taking your drinks because it was too late (it was 8pm and they didnt close until 11:30). Then they were playing 1950s songs which got pretty boring after a while so I request a new song and she says sorry honey no requests and returns to her conversation on the phone screaming at someone. First of all we paid to have a fun night and all they do is be rude the whole time. Well we arent going back for sure.

When i tried to go here for a party the arcade did not work. Pool table had no pool balls. When asked thr lady was rude and treated us like idiots. Small bowling alley. Better off going to lava lanes in medford and i never go to medford. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AVOID THIS PLACE.

I will NEVER go back there again. The balls are terrible, and they have a sign that they will not fix them. That I can deal with. The kids and I wanted something to drink, so between the two games, we went to the food counter. After 5 minutes and several glances from the lady in the back, she finally acknowledged that I existed. She told me in a way that insinuated me being there was a problem Its gonna be a while.... ...In case she was assuming I wanted food, I asked, Even for drinks?To which she said in a much ruder, more irritated manner Im busy filling orders right now...Ok, fine. I can accept youre busy. However a simple Ill be with you in a few minutes to begin with would have been good customer service. The rudeness is completely uncalled for. I let me manager know, and they told me they are short staffed. Again I can understand that, but that does NOT excuse being downright rude to paying customers.As a matter of principle I will now take all of my bowling business to Medford and gladly pay the extra cost of Lava Lanes and in gas, for a better experience.

I decided to throw my girls birthday party at Caveman bowl. Huge mistake! After Checking their website I called them and asked to reserve three lanes next Saturday for my daughter’s party. I was informed that they I did not reserve lanes for parties it was first come first serve and that Saturday night was there cosmic bowling and after five it would be far too busy to get three lanes together. Come Saturday I got there at 4:30 so that I could get three lanes together. Upon arriving the man behind the counter looked at our gifts and told me there were no pet parties scheduled for Saturday night. I let him know that I talk to him last week about reserving lanes for a party and he told me it was first come first serve and he said well there must’ve been a mistake I didn’t realize you wanted to have a birthday party and we don’t do that after three. (They open at 1) I was frustrated but I tried not to let it show and asked if it was OK if we bowled there And celebrated the girls birthday and he said that was fine but it wouldn’t have a birthday package which I was fine with. He then told me that he needed me to pre-pay for everyone right then and there to get me on a lane despite the fact that the bowling alley was almost completely empty. He gave me a piece of paper with the three lanes that he assigned us to and wanted me to write down who would be blowing on each lane. We seated ourselves and I began to write down names. I believe I got about five names on the list before someone was placed at one of the lanes that he just gave us. I went up to the counter and this time there was a woman there who said she was never told that we had those three lanes. I showed her the paper that I had just received and started filling out. She was very agitated and walked away when another man said I’ll move them and he took care of it. Then the woman got my attention and said I hope you didn’t bring any outside food or cake. I let her know that when I looked at her website it said that it was OK to bring in cake as long as it was store-bought. She informed me that that was only for people that had Reserved a birthday party. I informed her that I had indeed tried to book a birthday party last week but I was told that they didn’t reserve lanes for parties. She said that she didn’t know what to say that I was absolutely under no circumstances to have any cake in her establishment. I went back to my table and asked my guests if they would like to go to lava lanes instead. We packed our things and headed to lava lanes. On our way out she made sure to have the last word. Despite four people coming in and out from behind the counters both of the concession stand and the main Booth she insisted that there were only two people working. We ended up spending well over $500 at lava lanes which was packed and have very good customer service. I’m surprise caveman bowl wouldn’t let us enjoy a few rounds of bowling and our store-bought cupcakes Despite only having three lanes being occupied. If you enjoy a family atmosphere and good customer service you may want to consider choosing lava lanes over caveman bowl. They should consider themselves lucky that anyone would even want to bowl there considering the place smells like a pile of gym shoes in a boys locker room and they don’t open the bar or kitchen until after 6. Also, I read their reviews on yelp and Facebook and the most common complaint was the rude staff. 🤔She also said they needed a weeks notice for birthday parties when their website says 3 days and she said they don’t do birthday parties on the weekend when their website says they do when space is available and there was clearly more than enough space. Lol.... I’ve never seen this level of poor management and customer service! You’d think they would have appreciated the business!

Absolutely horrible experiences every time I have gone the bartender has been either extremely rude or actually refused to serve anyone that night. And I mean anyone she closed the bar at 9pm on an Saturday night. The time before this we had a huge birthday party at the alley and she was rude to almost every adult we had with us. This is a sad experience since this is one of the only bowling alleys in the area without driving 30 min.

The staff is not friendly at all and rude!! Not a kid friendly establishment. On top of it, when there game machines eat your quarters, nothing is done. The least they can do is put signs on there game machines telling you how many quarters it requires. I could go on and on about the service, but I will not waist anymore time or money with this establishment.

Its a great place, pricing has gone up a bit so I usually try to eat and drink before I get there.. other than that, it is a great place to be

I tried booking a birthday party. The first phone call seemed very promising, they were very polite, etc. and the gentleman said he would call me back later that day with more details and never did. I waited a few days before trying to call again. I have called a few times since then and have not receied any returned phone calls and everyone has been very unprofessional and rude.

Very disappointing. Although they advertise being open until 9 p.m. on Monday evenings, me and three of my grandchildren arrived at 8 p.m. and were turned away. The woman at the door, as she was locking it in our faces, said that they hardly had any customers that day and that she had been directed to lock it up. She was not very friendly about it either. Not a good way to operate a business in my opinion and we certainly wont be going back, especially since we drove eight miles to get there and I was left with some very disappointed kids. Next time, well go somewhere that values their customers and keeps to their advertised hours.

This place only cares about league. No free lanes 90% of the time for casual bowlers wanting a frame or two. Go to lava lanes instead which is cleaner, has great technology, and is way more fun.
