Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Good service. Always clean. Emily is such a wonderful help, I always see her when I need new glasses. I like the added service protection plan they offer, its great for kids glasses as well.

I am so so pleased with my overall experience! I wear a very rare type of hard contact lenses and the doctor took the time to make sure every detail was correct. The whole staff was awesome and took the time needed to make sure I was getting my needs met. One week later and I can see so good! Such a relief! Thank you so much to the doctor, best optometrist experience ever and I will always bring my business here

I have used the Walmart Vision Center for all my vision needs in the past 12 years since moving to Grants Pass and have always been satisfied with the services of both the Vision Center and both of the Dr Fickes in the clinic in the back. All of the employees have been helpful and courteous. I recently took my mom there and purchased an eye exam and glasses for her birthday. I had limited funds and she has no vision insurance. The rep who helped us select the frames and lenses found discounts that enabled me to be able to afford to purchase them for my mom. I don’t remember the gentleman’s name, but he provided great customer service!

If I could give zero stars, I would.When I originally received my glasses, the doctor listed my adjustment as -200, when in actuality they should have been +200. Big mistake. They had to redo them.Went in a while later because a nose piece was broken.The girl repaired them and said the frames were really bent and would order a new set of frames. Apparently, there was also a scratch on my lenses, so they ordered new lenses as well.They called, glasses were in. I couldnt see through them. Wrong strength, they ordered the -200 again. First question... why wasnt this incorrect prescription deleted?Went back again, they had sent the glasses back and just ordered the lenses. That does me no good. I needed frames.I left again. 10 minutes later, they called me. They found the frames, so I went back, again. The frames were the wrong size and lenses wouldnt fit.. they had to re order... AGAIN!Got a call, new glasses were in. Official facebook page and website claim they are open till 8pm. I got there at at 7:06 and the gate was closed. The girl said they have always closed at 7, never at 8 (I direct your eyes to the 2nd picture they have posted. I was there on a Tuesday) and she couldnt open the gate back up. She offered to hand them to me through the gate. Couldnt even get them adjusted.I will NEVER EVER go there again!Its like a bunch of monkeys are working there. I take that back, monkeys are A LOT SMARTER!

They total screwed up my appointment twice which was frustrating but the manager came and talked to me once they realized the mistake and made it right. 5 star to the manager I bought two pair instead of the one I was going for after the customer service of the manager.

Went in with low expectations and was thoroughly impressed. Customer service was excellent, the doctor was friendly and helpful, and they really made sure to help me get what I needed. Doctor seemed very knowledgeable when discussing laser eye surgery and other eye related topics. Will definitely come for all future eye appointments and issues, and recommend anyone else.

They said 7-10 days, 20 days ago, glasses still havent arrived. They didnt offer any kind of discount, refund, or any attempt to rectify the situation. Not any less expensive than premium shops if you get anything above the lowest quality lenses, so really no point in going here.The previous time I ordered from them, they told me the lenses could be cut to fit my existing frames for a fee, I paid the fee, waited a few weeks then learned they could not cut to fit and had to start the order over again.Basically, if you actually need glasses to work or function in life, avoid ordering them here unless you have another pair to use for the month that you wait.

I went with my son to the vision center and the female dr there, I forget her name, but she was very rude to me, the parent and treated me like I am incompetent. I have lived here for 8 months and everyone Ive met has been very nice and respectful, except her. I will not be going back to the vision center in Grants Pass inside Walmart while that lady works there. I am a college educated female myself, and I dont appreciate being looked down upon and treated like the dr knows knows more about my child than I do and shes only met him for a few seconds. I gave this a 2 star because the lady who fitted his glasses was very kind and respectful. Because of the dr, we will not be back.

Had an appointment at 1130 today. But I was delayed because of an accident enroute to the appt. I even called to let them know I was running late. But when I arrived the front office person stated I no longer had an appt. So I would need to reschedule, as its their policy Not 1 person waiting either! Very poor customer service with little flexibility. So you just lost a customer because of it!! Get someone whos personable and interested in helping your customers/patients!!!

Exceptionally disappointed but what should I have really expected from theives who fire their employees and doeamt really think about their own. I got turned away due to a small set back which your good employees, which you fired cause Stacy is an idiot, would have resolved my problem for me. These new people dont even know what theyre doing clearly. Its sad I even purchased from yall and when I come back in later this month th for my warranty and its not taken care of Im gonna blast yall even harder. Bring back your crew from a year ago, fire your current employees, and fire your regional manager Stacy for complete incompetence. After I get my warranty, Ill never do business with yall again until all those people are fired and you get a more competent regional manager. Oh and see how the drs are separate from yall. Ive got nothing bad to say about them. Dr Tom is just as awesome as his wife, thank God they dont work for yall

Bought a pair of glasses here. When I picked them up, the lady that helped me was more concerned about selling me cleaning solution than she was about making sure my glasses fit correctly. I asked her to adjust them, and she seemed a little put out. Told me to tilt me head down and shake it. I think she may have adjusted the arms a little bit, but that was it. A couple weeks later, I went in to see if I could get them adjusted. Same lady was there, waiting on other customers. I stood there for quite some time, without even an acknowledgement from her. I didnt expect her to stop what she was doing, but she could have at least said she would be with me as soon as she could or something along those lines. So, I went to the Walmart Vision Center in Medford. Even though I didnt buy my glasses there, they were very helpful. I went back twice, and both times they took the time to work with me to adjust my glasses and, finally, get them to fit right. I suggest you go to the Medford Walmart Vision Center, even if you have to travel a little further. The far superior customer service is worth it. I paid $400 for these glasses, and it would have been nice if the place I bought them from were at least half as helpful as the place that I didnt buy them from that actually got the glasses to fit correctly.

Stood in line for 15 minutes. When I finally made the front of the line the lady said I was late for my appointment and Id have to reschedule. I told her I was in the building waiting in line the whole time. She said I should have said something. Really?!?! How about calling for the name of your next appointment when there is a big line? I would never push pass other people who have been waiting! Bad business, in my opinion. The woman had zero patience and no professionalism. She should not punish a customer with an appointment for waiting patiently in line. I took my business to Cascade Eye Center and they SMILE when I come in and are overly happy to help, everytime. Dont pay top dollar, at a hinky Wal-Mart shop, when we have incredible professionals who are very capable and cost effective in town. Never again WalMart Vision. I will send everyone I know to Cascade. Train your employees to be kind and respectful. They are your public face!

Efficient and accommodating! Dr. Tom Fickes is very friendly and comfortable to be around, which makes the exam fly by. Shaun took the time to customize glasses for me and had years of knowledge. Everyone working had a good demeanor despite the busy environment. The experience was smooth with little wait time.
