Super friendly, Matt met all my list needs and even explained things properly so I could easily understand the scope of my project. After leaving Grovers, I definitely left feeling I had the right tools for the job and everything on my list!

I rarely have a pleasant experience here. Customer service is very lacking! I called 4 times but no answer!! A lot of employees trying to look busy but not doing anything as far as I can tell. Many employees went to the service counter but not one helped a customer. Not many customers were in store. I waited over 1/2 an hour. Of course, they didnt have what I needed.I looked at reviews, apparently they only read and respond to great reviews. I have spent hundreds at this store, you would think they would try to act like they want my business.

They had what I needed! Something that the big stores did not have like Home depot and Diamond they where a joke the people asked did not know what I was explaining duh! When I asked for the particular item the guy new right away where it was and low and behold it was exactly what I wanted PERIOD! Thank you GROVERS! Went to purchase a part to do an emergency plumbing repair and was refused service for no maskthis is discriminatory action per the civil rights act of 1964 pertaining to medical conditions and public accommodationsin the last year I have purchased a well pump and a water heater not to mention many other parts and pieces for various projects over the years. I realize my single homeowner purchases will not affect your bottom line but I will never set foot in your stores again

This is the most INCOMPETENT store I have ever been to. I dont think I have had a successful trip to Grovers EVER. Wrong parts, missing parts from orders, mixed prices that are different from the shelf to register, and subpar customer service after unnecessarily long wait times. I swear they are trained to give bad advice and wrong parts. NEVER going there again. I swear a meteorologist is right about the weather more than Grover employees are about their job.

Worst experience shopping for anything in a supply store ever. Tons of employees walking around, none of them offering help. The women there were rude and acted like I wasn’t worthy of shopping there and literally in front of me said something about me to the next customer. Very unprofessional service for driving the extra 30 miles to be treated like that.

My well water system was broken recently, Cheyne, Mark, Brandon and Luke not only helped me with diagnosing the issues and found the right parts for repairing, also I got a new pressure tank under the manufactory’s warranty with their assistance. They make all of my DIY projects easier, they are always patient with all of my questions, and they are enjoyable to deal with.

Kathy in the lighting department is the best! She has been helping me since 2001 when we built our home! She is very knowledgeable and always there to answer questions and find solutions.

One should always shop here first to get plumbing supplies before going anywhere else. Prices are usually lower than elsewhere and you dont have to wander all over the store to find what is needed.

Absolutely a 5 star visit. The gentleman behind the counter was able to verify that my AC capacitor needed to be replaced and found the correct replacement quickly. The ladies behind the registers were very friendly and treated myself and my kinds like long time friends. Grovers is definitely my go to when it comes to electrical and plumbing issues.

Lol, read other reviews saying staff is rude because they wont let you cut in line to ask your own questions. I know the feeling, but seriously, think about it. There are still people around the store and when its not busy anyone will answer. Instead of walking back to customer service, waiting for someone to call someone to go to your department and them maybe showing up, you have the option right when you enter to take a number (if busy) if you are going to need help. A quick yes/no on whether they carry something is often best done by phone.So they dont all know everything about plumbing and electricity, but generally know their products and freely admit what they dont and ask someone else. All are friendly, some sassy in the best way (you know who you are, you cashiers - one told me she spent years in a monastery to learn to measure wire by the foot). Theyve mostly had all the parts I need for projects and work, and prices are competitive or better than big box places. Also, the shelves are not stacked with the same products over and over, maybe different sizes, the way big box places often are. They actually have the same amount of different things or more in many cases and they dont rip you off on little things (cheap rain gutters but the brackets and caps cost twice each what the gutter cost, like at some depot places).I also appreciate that the employees have remained the same for many years, several I recognize from 12 years ago. Gotta mean that owners cant be too bad. Mostly I enjoy that Ive been able to get what I need in a friendly, fair place without a huge amount of marketing in every aisle, just the parts. If I need help, I take a number.

Grovers is the best, I dont know how anyone can give it less than 5 stars. They are knowledgeable, help DIYers with projects give solid advice and carry better products in most cases than the box stores. Only caveat is sometimes you have to wait to be helped, but that is because they make take their time and sure you are good to go before helping another customer.

The Staff is always helpful and very kind. I have had great luck with getting help with our projects, the staff takes their time and makes sure you know how to execute the task you are there for with all the things you will need before you leave, they have even made diagrams for me. We love this hardware store. We have used this Store for lots of projects.

I went to Grover in Grants Pass. The sign said OPEN. However, it was 4:25. We quickly found the creek pump I needed, but need the stuff to connect it. By now it was 4:30. The sales person would not help me gather the parts to connect the system, and in fact told us that they were closed! I like to support the smaller places because I know how hard it is to compete with the big stores--they have deeper pockets, and can put the smaller places out of business. As a small business owner this is why I dont have employees...even if we are slamming busy...if it is closing time they close. I stay open as long as I can, and if you come into the deli at closing I will still make your lunch. My employees however, close up as soon as they can. This is bad for my business, and my pocket book. I went to Home Depot and spent over $1000.00. I live 100 miles from town, and cant just go beck the next day. I went to Grovers at the suggestion of my friend who said they have better electrical selections, and the sales people were more knowledgeable and helpful. However, the salesman at Home Depot helped us get everything we needed, and we were out of there by 5:30. I was not happy that they would not even let us check-out with the pump...is was 4:32. Not sure I will go back.

Ive been in the Grovers about 4 times in the past couple of years and I really have no problem waiting my turn. Im not the only one looking for help. What I do have an issue with is that they advertise such friendly employee help, but the last 3 times I was in there, the person who helped me, was LESS than friendly and every time, I had more than one question. Seems like they had no tolerance for helping me with more than one issue. One guy gave me one of those, If looks could kill stares. Ive had it with that kind of Help and will take my chances at Diamond or Home Depot. Think they may need to change from one Muppet, Grover to another, Oscar for their grouchy employees.

Anytime I had a plumbing or electrical project to do, they always had a knowledgeable and friendly person there to help guide me and or find the parts I needed. We are very fortunate to have a business like this here in Grants Pass.

Busy place when I came in around noon on a Monday - good selection however most of their tools & supplies seem lowend quality. Staff has a basic knowledge and thats about it. Dont come here with high expectations.

Its always a great place to go for all your electrical needs and more including water filter supplies and hot water tanks and replaceable rods of different metals.

Its nice to go into a store and ask questions, and the people that work there actually know the answers and arent just guessing.

After years of wonderful service to my husband especially, today was a huge disappointment. At around 10.40 am, my husband was in the process of making purchases only to be met with an older woman who displayed an incredibly bad attitude problem. The attitude was in fact so bad, the purchases were left on the counter and we went to the opposition. Very disappointing.

Pick a number... thats customer service. Dont expect a employee to even look your way until your number is called. Oh if you are in the lighting department no number will help you there, youre going to wait for ever and that happens in the central point and grants pass stores.I sent them a email to complain about their service and do you think they responded??? Nope I guess I should of picked a number for that also

So the Funny thing about a Big Box Store is, no matter what you want, theres often no one to assist you in finding it! Anyway, today I was driving by my local Grover ESP Store and popped in for some WD40. Of course, they do not sell this product, but other than sending me packing, the chap chatting me up, discerned my need were minor, and loaned me the can of the Store Bench. Off the Bench in the back he loaned me a can to use. Now thats reason number 89 why I went there in the 1st. Place..
