I am not, as a rule, someone who enjoys shopping. Id rather visit the dentist. The British Emporium is one of the few places I truly enjoy shopping. The huge tracts of jams (and marmelades). The grocery items you cant get anywhere else locally. The surprising finds for the collector (the Sherlock Holmes card game is one we couldnt pass up). And the haggis-flavored crisps my husband likes. I cant walk in without browsing for a good while, and I cant ever walk out again without buying far more than Id intended. Its also the best place for stocking stuffers at the holidays.

I love going to the British Emporium. Im able to get all the goodies I enjoyed as a child and young adult living in the United Kingdom. Wish it was less expensive but understandable. Even when my parents would visit from Georgia a visit was made as my mom is from the U.K. and finding the items she enjoyed is not available where they live. Owners and staff are fantastic and always a treat to chat with owners.

Very neat import and gift store. Its a bit small and tight, and the selection is kind of all over the place, but the tea and jam sections are worth a trip all by themselves. I went in looking for blackcurrant jam, and had like 6 different ones to choose from. I also had questions and got thoroughly and genially helped. Apparently they have different items on a regular basis, excited to stop back in when I need more jam, heh.

Ive been coming to the British Emporium for years. Love this place. Its truly one of a kind, family owed establishment. They have a wide range of British candies, snacks and other staples. Plus, they have collectable tea cups, Dr Who items and traditional Christmas items. Prices can be a bit steep on some stuff but well worth it for hard to find items. Will definitely continue to visit this establishment.

Tango, IRN-bru, lilt, aero, munchies and Devon rice pudding... Devon knows how they make it so creamy

This store is great! It is really cute and is full of items from all over the United Kingdom. When I went to Scotland last year we tried Irn Bru and some Scottie dog cookies and I was ecstatic to find them at this store! They also had adorable tea sets, food from all over the U.K., and lots of souvenirs! The prices can be a little steep, but its understandable considering it is mostly imported. They have a great selection and if you have recently been to the U.K. and couldnt bring big souvenirs back for your loved ones, they probably have something for them here! Overall I highly recommend this shop!

I went to school for several years in Glasgow, Scotland, and sometimes I miss the place so much it hurts. British Emporium is the best place (the only place!) to get my fix for all things UK. They have meat pies, black pudding and even haggis! A fantastic place to get everything I need when I host my Burns dinners and full Scottish brunches! Like others might have mentioned, the price is a little bit on the higher side. BUT Totally understandable considering they are mostly imported goods.

This place certainly lived up to my expectations. There are plenty of items to explore and choose from, such as teas, candies, baking supplies, cream, drinks, cheese, memorabilia, and so on. Theres really too much to look at in one visit, so I plan to return again. Its a bit pricey, though, which I suppose is not surprising, so do be mindful as you shop, as it can be pretty easy to rack up a big bill. Otherwise, its definitely worth checking out!

I just ordered a product from this shop for the first time and I made a mistake with my delivery selection, priority, which was a little on the high side and much more costly than the single product I ordered. I informed the shop of my mistake and the method of delivery was changed to a cheaper rate. I was given a refund for the difference and the amended invoice was e-mailed immediately. However, it seems that the product was already dispatched because I still received it within a few days, priority, which was a surprise.Maybe they knew this but customer service never hesitated to be accommodating. Their service was excellent and I will be ordering more products from them in future. I would definitely recommend this shop for their amazing selection of goodies and their great service. I just wish I lived closer to the shop. I have a feeling that I would be grabbing a bunch of British goodies just about every day.

I stumbled upon this business while missing my turn in Grapevine, and Im so glad I did.Traveled to Ireland 3 or so years ago and was dumbstruck by their Club Lemon and Club Orange brand sodas. To my surprise and delight, British Emporium sells Club, and many other brands unfamiliar to most of us Americans. From Meat pies to teas, shortbread cookies to Scottish haggis, this place has a ton of products. Candies, chocolates, games, books, so much that its almost overwhelming to take it all in without shopping slowly. So glad this business exists!

I absolutely adored this place. I just went to grab some of my fav authentic Cadbury treats! Authentic Cadbury became incredibly hard to find in the States in recent years due to Hersheys having the rights to the US version, but nothing beats the original! I was very happy to discover this place while visiting family here in Texas. They had more than I could have imagined! They had it all jams, teas, treats, meats, lotions, and British pop culture memorabilia. Some of the prices are higher but that is to be expected due to the nature of the products. I dont mind paying a bit more since Im getting some incredible quality products that I cant find elsewhere. I will be stopping here every time Im in the area to visit family.

The British Emporium never disappoints. I almost weep for joy every time I walk in the door. My credit card weeps in sorrow when I pay the tab. This is the only place in the Dallas area to get some kinds of treats that they sell in this shop. The owner, Sheila is a delight every single time.
