I was interested in a car but have taken a credit hit due to investments in my business. Dave ran my credit, and as soon as it became difficult for him to find financing he would not reply to any of my inquiries. Thats pretty low, considering I wanted some communication about it and to discuss other options since it dinged my credit. Very irresponsible and unprofessional. I would have gladly put a large deposit down, had a co-signer, or ultimately have paid cash for the vehicle. I wanted to finance it to help my credit, but it wasnt my only option. You should always go above and beyond for you customer and find a solution. Dave did not. Unless you want a ding on your credit and ignored emails, Id suggest steering clear.

Great place to get a vehicle. I drove three hours and was able to get in the car that Ive always wanted in less than 3 hours. Dave there was awesome and made sure everything was up to par when I drove off the lot. Took my trade in for a decent price. Only bummer is I left my car with a half a tank of gas and they left me with less than a quarter. So I ended up filling up two cars in one day. That was all. But overall- great place.

I know the feeling. Buying a car can be a nightmare. Buy from a private party and who knows what might happen. Buy from a car lot or dealership and the experience is rarely positive. Our last dealership experience was terrible. My wife and I vowed to never return. So, we were looking for a late model mini van. We considered Car Max because its a simple process, but werent really into traveling an hour, plus were just simply one more customer. Buying a used car comes with some risk, and I wasnt confident Car Max was committed to our happiness. (nothing against them at all) We also like to shop local, and keep our money in our town when possible. So we starting checking some reviews for local dealers. Pioneer kind of shines above everyone. Luckily, they had a mini van that was what we needed and made the trip to see them. Keith was super knowledgable of the van we were looking at. He doesnt use any of the used can guy lingo either. Simply how everything works without twisting reality. We were interested and he offered a test drive. No pressure, and let us know the price is what it is. No haggling or back and forth. (the no haggle price was the only reason we considered Car Max) During the test drive, we decided we would probably want to buy it. We got back, met with Keith in his office, and began the process. I kept waiting for the special undercarriage treatment or some ridiculous warranty or interest rate add on. There was nothing. We decided to trade in our wagon too. He assured us we could get more money selling as a private party. What a mess though. We would have to have people come to our house, test drive our car, then maybe hand us 15k in cash. And doing this during Covid-19? It could be a nightmare. We asked him to see what he could do. His offer was really fair, so we ended up selling Pioneer our wagon. I was beginning to wonder, how do these guys make any money? They run a very streamlined business. Only a few employees so the overhead is low. You might have a wait a moment to talk with someone about a car, but you wont be attacked by hungry sales people either. Another bonus: Keith does the entire deal from start to finish. No go see the finance person, then go see the warranty person, maybe another manager, etc. (Typical at a big dealership) Overall, we are super happy with our car and how we were treated. A real pleasure, and it was all in our home town! If youre looking for a used car, appreciate being treated with respect, dont want to haggle, and be generally super happy with your experience, please consider a visit to Pioneer Motors. We came in to test drive a car. Our experience was amazing to say the least and we didnt even purchase a vehicle. We worked with Tom and he was very open and honest with us. He helped us discuss our trade and suggested an option that would benefit us the best. He even provided us a carfax. The reason we didnt buy wasnt because of Tom we werent ready to pull the trigger yet. Tom realized that and didnt pressure us at all. When we are ready to purchase we will definitely look at Pioneer Motors. I would absolutely recommend them to a friend.

Took test drives in cars we are considering buying. This would be the second auto from them. The salesman was pleasant and low pressure and thats why we went back to Pioneer.

Decent selection for a small town. Prices are on par, no feel of a scam here. Sales people will find you, but I never feel pressured when I walk the lot. Online prices may be better, so check them out. I have NOT bought a car here, but I wouldnt shy away from recommending them. Not my normal place to review and not having bought a car, it was a five star shopping experience.

Pioneer Motors took over $1,000 in taxes from me to pay my out-of-state taxes. They claim to have sent them to California to send to my state. My state never received the funds so I had to pay them again and Pioneer Motors will not refund me.Update: They have still not helped me get this back. Turns out the way they sold it to me meant the taxes had to be paid to both states. They promised me this would not happen before I bought the car. They messed up and wont fix it. Also the van had a crack in the windshield that cannot be fixed by filling it in so the whole windshield has to be replaced. They did not tell me this when I purchased the van from out of state.Would NOT recommend!

This is the best place to buy a car! Professional staff, very personal not your typical car sales staff. They were honest about the sales process, warranties and additional traditional upsell options. The cars were extremely clean, well researched and affordable! I will never go anywhere else. Weve had our car almost a month now and love it!

Final price was even lower then the internet. If your looking for a clean used car, call them. Im also new to the area and it turns out everyone I ran into has bought a car from them too. Even my mechanic. This isnt the largest dealership I visited but the sales manager was awesome and even helped me buy a bike and kayak rack after I purchased the car.

They created harm to my credit report. I was told my the salesman that only 1 inquiry would be made to my credit report for the purpose of buying a car. A few months later, when I got access to my credit report, I found they had made 3 hard inquiries and my score was lowered as a result. I knew what I was doing, when I went into the dealership and thought they would respect my choices. So get something in writing that they will not cause you credit problems.
