Staff are nice place is well used and they keep it pretty clean

Dollar Tree seems to have everything I need for a buck. If I buy something that doesnt work out for my intended purposes, didnt spend a lot of money on it. Great store.

I am 7 months pregnant and I asked to use the restroom. I was told no. I can walk all the way to jc penny. I explained to them im pregnant and really needed to pee. They told me no. I went to where I left my cart to get my stuff, little manager guy starts following me and tells me I need to leave the store or hes calling the cops on me. All because I had to pee!

Ive been shopping here for years. Ive paid many, many times with a 100 dollar bill. Just a few minutes ago they denied me. I had at least $50 worth of merchandise and they wouldnt take my cash. Frustrating to say the least.

Hands down the worst dollar tree ive had the displeasure of being at. If the store isnt completely run out of food an products the selection is jus as bad.

This dollar tree in specific is sketch. Not well maintained like other dollar tree stores I’ve been to. Also this store In specific will rip you off if your not counting your items. A few of the employees I noticed like to force a tip for themselves or something because I pay 25 but have 19 items, or I pay 8 but only have 5 items the math doesn’t add up. Maybe they assume everyone is rich in this area so they don’t have to work like other dollar tree stores do!?

I love dollar stores, but at this particular store, I have never had a good experience at checkout. When its my turn, SOMETHING always happens that leads to a big hassle. The worst was when the checkout person asked me to wait while she blew up birthday balloons for another customer. I left my shopping cart after waiting 15 minutes for her to return.Though this the closest to where I stay, I will never come to this store again.

Basically has every Nik Nak item. Sticking true to their name, everything in there is a dollar. Personally, I get a lot of my toiletries here because they have good stuff and its only a buck! Locals love this place. Shop local and love it!

Dollar tree is a bargain store with everything for $1. If you need to check the price maybe you should not be there ;-). This store in Grass Valley CA is well stocked, clean, and efficient.

Pretty empty....shelves are not full..But Monday they have delivery truck coming..So hopefully they will fill the shelves..NEW HOURS: 8 AM TO 8 PM..MONDAY THRU SUNDAY...

Masks are mandatory in California! Grass Valley California store has signs saying No Mask, No Admittance, yet the store had more people in it today without a mask on the people with masks. I had a mask on. When I asked how come they were NOT following the rules, the checker said she didnt know and to talk to the manager. The manager heard me and came up to me and said the answer is, if the police arent going to enforce it them why should we? She also said they didnt have the authority to stop people from coming in. I told her their sign says they have the Right to Refuse Service to Anyone. No Shirt or Shoes No Service and the sign on the door said Masks are required to enter the store. And they did have the right! I was told it was because of medical reasons and medically she shouldnt even be wearing a mask!Since when is the Dollar Tree above the law and the responsibility to keep their staff and customers safe?Corporate needs to have a talk with their stores and managers!I will not be shopping there again because they are not a safe place to shop & their manager is out of line and RUDE!

One can never be sure whats in a Dollar store from visit to visit. With time to kill, it can be kinda fun but if time is limited and requirements are specific, its better to go elsewhdre

Almost as well-stocked as the one in Placerville. Only thing they seem to not really carry is the outdoor gardening section.

Management Company absolutely must provide gloves and masks to employees. Either employees provide their own or go without .Enter at your own risk! Demand owners pony up and quit being a sweatshop.Shame on you, we know youre making enough money to afford it. Next time Im there I will carry a sign and complain loudly if conditions dont improve!

Can’t understand why the store manager was beyond unprofessional after I explained a problem. I was on my lunch brk. and got 10 buck cash back, but the cashier never gave me my money which I noticed when I got to work. After explaining to the store manager she said she will not give me my money because they came out even. So she said the cashier gave my money to a guy than she said she never said that. She said certain things that she basically took back. Than she treated me like a criminal. Said I was threatening her just cause I told her I will go over and show her what I got and the receipt. Was extremely rood and beyond unprofessional

Just because you are closed don’t mean there’s a switch that flips and you dont have to treat customers like they’re even people. I showed up at 9, one of the store managers I’m assuming wouldn’t answer the door, until I smiled and said please inferring I was not upset. I showed her that the hours on google were incorrect. Considering this is what most people use for hours and location that they should contact them to correct it and showed I’d made a suggestion to the hours myself and she rebounded with an extremely, unnecessarily rude attitude threatening to call the police when I was polite the whole time.Mam, your actions were deplorable. We’re all people. Keep the kindness.

Im so grateful for this store!! Especially during this government shutdown. I did not receive a paycheck last payday, and dont know when I will receive another! I know I can walk into DOLLAR TREE and pay only $1 for anything I pick up! There are no games. Not like other stores. They even have food. Thankfully, they take my credit card which I am forced to use right now. Thank you - thank you Dollar Tree!

Hate coming in here but I have to sense my grandma likes the place. They let pets in there all the time even though there sign CLEARLY says service animals only. I go in there with my medical alert service dog frequently and always run into pets trying to attack my dogs. They let a man bring a sick puppy in the store that had zero shots and was touching all of their products. I even had to wait in the car with my service dog until a lady left with her big dog only to have an employee come out and tell me I can bring my dog in that there pet friendly. You guys are not pet friendly please stop letting pets in your store its illigal and makes it hard for my dog to do its job.

I shopped here weekly for various cheap things never had a problem. Today I spent close to $100 dollars so I went to pay with my $100 dollar bill and the cashier has the manager come out who was completely unprofessional waving her hands in the air and giving me an attitude because they don’t accept $100 dollar bills ..... money is money it’s not my fault you don’t have the machine or the pen to let you know it’s not counterfeit but I wouldn’t have had a problem going to break it if the manager wasn’t a raging lunatic. Very unprofessional I will never go back here

I like the prices, but can’t except the fact that I spent a good deal of time browsing merchandise and picking needed items including frozen foods, and after waiting for, what I felt was a extended period, and worried that the frozen foods wouldn’t survive the ride back to my home still frozen, I get up to the register, HEY !!!!! Only to have the HEY to “What do you mean you won’t except a $50.00 bill, I just came from my banks ATM machine next door ( Wells Fargo in Raley’s)? I then asked if this was an American store, in America?Because I was a U.S. citizen in the U.S. spending U.S. money in a U.S. store . I was then told by management that they had recently received quite of few fake fifties, like she didn’t hear me State that I had JUST WALKED OVER from Raleys ATM machine. NO PLACE ON THE FRONT AS YOU WALK IN OR ANYPLACE INSIDE THE STORE THAT STATED THAT THEY WILL NOT EXCEPT $50.00 BILLS. I THEN WALKED OUT AND WILL NEVER RETURN TO SHOP IN A DOLLAR GENERAL STORE AGAIN!!! I NOW UNDERSTAND WHY ALTA SIERRA TOLD DOLLAR TREE TO “SHOVE-OFF.

Giving one star is too much.... This was the first time I had been to this location. I love going to the Dollar Tree but I think this location is probably the most filthiest and disorganized place I have ever been to. Every shelf was half empty and you could actually see the dirt on the floor. There was one female staff working the cash register. I had asked her a question on where a product was and ahs said she didnt know but when her manager comes back in the store she might know. She said her manager was outside in front taking a smoke break. Mind you there were about 10 customers standing in line to be ring up. She appeared to be the only one working at all. The whole experience was just gross.

Love the prices. But dealt with one employee that gave me wrong info on loading a green dot card. Had to come all the way back only for her to once again give diffrent info. She then gave me attitude when I said you told me something diffrent just 20 minuntes ago. A simple apology goes along way but instead she tried to give me attitude. Wont go back there. Have a dollar general thats closer with alot friendlier stuff.

Terrible staff. Very poor customer relations. All of the Dollar Tree stores wherever I have shopped (for many, many years) tend to have long lines at times. However, no other of these stores has such a reprehensible attitude toward customers finally asking if there are any other checkers to help? I have watched this over and over in the Freeman Lane site, even with the main manager on duty (who apparently is oblivious or doesnt care). Tired of walking out in frustration, or being derided by a clerk who takes umbrage with being asked to call for help. When the lines are 10-12 people long, that should not be a reason for the checker to become offended. Disgusting and pathetic. Perhaps new management is called for, or at least some intensive customer relations training.

Great place to get crafts for the kids or random inexpensive items. But, just because the items are cheap doesn’t mean the store has to feel that way. I was there earlier this week and my cashier took a phone call (just a chit chat type of call, nothing urgent) for the entire duration of my transaction. It was rude and very unprofessional.

Dollar tree aka the 20 dollar store it seems you never walk out spending a dollar or two but its better then spending 20 at the grocery store on snacks or kitchen item foil trash bags well worth the savings to go to the other side of town .

The line was long because my significant other thought the clerk in line 3 was cute so she stayed there

Unfortunately the products we go in for are hit and miss but all of the younger staff who work here are friendly and helpful. A few of the older folks we havent had the greatest service from. We wish they would have more cashier help when needed. Many times the lines back up and there isnt any help that arrives.

Its a dollar store. When I go in, I always find what Im after, Im pleased with most staff, you get the random cold hearted one but thats the case Im most establishments. Easy access, wheelchair accessible, convenient parking, in strip mall with other shops.

Horrible customer service........Breaks are more important than customer service. Left 1 checkout open so cashier could take a break. Left all my stuff and walked out of store. Not getting my money!!!!!!!!

They actually have a couple of cleaning products that are better than the best on the market elsewhere, dont discount this place, (so to speak)... Perfect at what they do.

They have some really cool holiday wrapping paper at this location right now.

Store hours at store verses on line differ completely. Ran over to pick something up before close at 10pm (according to online) and found out that it closed at 9pm. Frustrating. And they always have one cashier on with 15 (no exaggeration) people in line. Really need to work on a few things.

Closing time 8p means announcing youre closed at 754 and locking the door at 755 and turning away a customer at 756. I was inside the store when this happened.

Poor cashier. 1 of her while the guy was chit chatting with a lady at another checkout. I asked if he was open and he glared at me and then rudely said no. We waited 8 minutes to be checked out. The whole time he chatted up that 1 customer. When she left he went inside the office and as we finally got checked out, I looked back, and there were another 10 plus customers on line. Poor service.
