I don’t know where to begin! I love this carlot! 2nd vehicle in the last year and have nothing bad to say! John was awesome!! I repeat John was awesome!!! Both times we were struggling to get in the vehicle we wanted and John kept fighting and fighting and made it happen, could not have been done with out him! I can’t wait to be back in a couple years for a better up grade as we have done today! Thanks lake street motors and thank you John!

About my experience with these guys. We had great communication over the phone, they helped us fill out all the paperwork as needed we were approved for a vehicle. All we had to do was come down with the cash and We did. Drove two hours from Wisconsin and they knew that, first vehicle we test drove felt like the tires was going to come off at a speed of limit of 35. Rudy was with us, we went back to the lot he got the manager and their mechanic and told them what happened. They went for a test drive and said they got the vehicle up to 80 mph no shaking at all.So we went back for another test drive we got the vehicle up to 35 and it was shaking all over again. They said they would fix it and give us a call it has been over two weeks we have not heard nothing. Every time I call Rudy say it’s in the shop. Very poor I would not recommend this place to no one, We even test drove a second vehicle in our price range that day nothing but problems on that vehicle as well we did not even want to take it around the block. I would not recommend this place to no one very poor communication and selling junk cars trying to get over

First off I want to say I only give one star because I don’t have the option to not give any stars. My only problem with this place is that I’ve had my car that I previously bought from here for about 3 months and I still haven’t received my license plates. Which I can understand might take a little longer since COVID, but really?? 2 months I’ve been without my plates since my 30 day tag is expired. So like, now that I’m having car problem with my vehicle I’ve been driving what am I supposed to do? When I should have my new one I bought 3 months ago…And all I can do is watch it collect dust in the garage. Not happy about that.

These guys are shysters, and are not truthful, beware!!! They have cars still on craigslist, that they dont have, or that have been sold!!! I kept track of one vehicle in particular, this vehicle was posted on Craigslist for almost 2 months after the vehicle supposedly was sold??? Mistake? I think not, they do this purposely, so that you will come into their dealership, and they will tell you, oh, its sold last week.......Well as long as youre here, look at what else we have! Cmon man!!! These guys are a joke!

Shady! They would not give us the price of the vehicle, ONLY THE VEHICLE until our credit was ran. What? They said there are fees depending on financing. Ok, I get that there fees wrapped up in buying a car. This isnt my first time getting a loan to purchase a vehicle. But this is the first time I was refused to be given the price of the vehicle until after our credit was ran. The vehicle also had problems that would cost way more then what they were willing to come down on. We were given the carfax with 3 pages missing and blamed it on the printer. Conveniently it was pages that listed an accident. We passed. You should too!***I should mention that we finally were given the price of just the vehicle if we were to write a check

Bought a truck from them with unlisted body damage. Has glue residue from past window guards that was painted over. Has bondo that started chiping shortly after purchase and as soon as you sight paperwork they hardly wanna answer any of your serious questions. Seriously save your time with these scam artists.

Terrible truck buying experience. They are terrible with paperwork, don copper doesn’t like to return phone calls, doesn’t go over paperwork as properly as should be in person, and can’t even give you the proper copies of your documents. just an overall scammish feeling with this place after I purchased my truck from them. Would never buy another vehicle from this place.

Sells trucks that need extensive work days after purchasing them. Also vechiles are not properly safety inspected before being sold.

I purchased a 2001 Porsche Boxster on May 6th 2021 you can see it on their Facebook page (Now Deleted) they posted it the day of the purchase.So heres my story after I test drove and filled the credit application I was approved we signed everything and I was off with my car. However the dealership didnt give me all my documents in the envelope.  Not even the financial forms from the lender. I didnt immediately notice they didnt put it in the envelope.   A couple days later I was looking through the envelope and discovered it was missing.Come monday I get a notification that my credit had been pulled.  I caled the dealership immediately and asked why. I was told they  gave me a better rate.  I went with it but asked for all of my copiess of the documents.  They said they would email them. Nope never happened.I was told I had to have gap insurance and they charged me for it. I spoke with the credit union they said I did not have gap insurance.  However when the dealership provided the information to thr credit union they added it to the price I financed.I then called the Wisconsin Dmv about not receiving my registration.  They had not received anything from the dealership in over a month.I called and spoke with Mr Cooper who has said he would resolve my problems.  However I have yet to recieve all the documents he said he would email that again I signed back on May 6th.  He did tell me they would issue me a check for the gap insurance for $450 however I think they charged me $600 but since they have not in over a month given me my documents I cant prove this.I was also told today June 9th that they just sent in my taxes title and registration forms to the state of Wisconsin.  A full month past my purchase date.I have absolutely zero confidence in this dealership.  I would never recommend anyone to this establishment.

Recently purchased a vehicle and was told a headlight part was on order and the truck would be ready Monday. I go Monday, grab my keys and realized my remote start wasn’t there. My remote start was removed from the vehicle and my key fob does not work for my truck. Been trying to get in touch with the manager and sales rep and nobody wants to return any emails. Very upset that I had to ask about it and not be told or even suggested they would try to fix it. Not happy with the service provided.

I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Orlando was an incredible and personable salesman- he was great to work with. He deserves praise for his customer service skills as he was wonderful and fun to do business with. I love my vehicle and I am happy with my purchase. However, 4 days after I purchased the vehicle, the computer stopped reading the keys and I needed to pay a decent amount of money for the part to be replaced plus the labor costs. I live 3 hours from this dealership and was not going to trailer my newly purchased vehicle back down for it to be looked at so I took it to one of my local shops. I, of course, looked for reimbursement from this dealership for the amount that I paid, as this was not an issue I would’ve caused only owning the vehicle for 4 days. I am highly dissatisfied with the communication on the part of the management at this dealership. I was reimbursed for the cost of the part but not the labor and was left with no explanation as to why after leaving several voicemails and many emails... I am upset that I am out an amount of money for an issue that I would not have caused and that I was left with no explanation as to why labor prices would not have been covered for this matter.

I bought a beautiful F150. John helped me out with looking at the truck and answered all my questions I had. I made a list of small things the truck needed to have fixed and they fixed the problems just like they promised. Really happy customer! Really recommend this place and I recommend talking to John he knows what he’s doing, he’ll get you In the car you want and will help you get the best deal!!

I drove over an hour to see this truck, That they expressed to me that they had multiple buyers on so I needed to come right away i try and call them and they dont answer the phone. Upon inspecting the truck for myself the bed was filled with nails and wood and the interior back seat was covered in dirt I understand the use of a truck but not when it’s sitting on the lot trying to be sold. Water stains on the headliner seemed to be no big deal to these guys didnt care about your auto purchase.

The staff was great all the employees very professional and helpful but the best ones were Hugo Castro and Orlando they did everything to help us. Get our truck thank you very much guys.

It takes trust to book a one way plane ticket from Ohio to Chicago to buy a car from a dealer you have never dealt with before. That trust was built by Hugo starting with my first phone call about a Focus ST they had for sale. Since I was out of state I really wanted someone to look over the car and assure me that there were no surprises, Hugo and Manager Don came through. I wanted my purchase order in writing before I arrived so there were no surprises, again Don came through. I mentioned to Don that there were some hurdles to clear to make the deal, since I was out of state. He assured me that he has done this many times and that it would not be an issue, he was right. I booked a flight to buy a car I had never seen in person, from a car dealership I had never dealt with, and the whole thing went smoother than some fast food orders at a drive thru. My thanks and respect to the whole team I dealt with. Hugo and Rudy are great guys, I appreciate the ride! This is how you run a dealership, thank you guys! Me and the ST had one heck of a fun blast back to Ohio today.

If I was able to give this dealership a zero star rating I would. My fiancé and I bought a truck a week ago yesterday. There was something wrong with the key fob, not connecting to the truck. They said they would take care of it and over night a new one to us. We waited two whole week for this key. We went to a local dealership purchased our own key, and had it programed before we even got the one in the mail that they sent us. After the fact of dealing with the key, we had troubles finding out who our loan went through because our papers we incorrect. When I called about our loan, he was still worried about the key. Not even the fact that we are waiting on our loan papers to pay our first payment. Before our loan gets sent to collections. We are very disappointed with the problems we have dealt with. We have been working with John Belcher as a salesman, and Don Cooper I wouldn’t recommend them or this dealership to anyone. This business is ran by screwing people over.

If I could give this place a 10 star, then I would. Found a car i was interested in, drove couple of hours, saw it and loved it. Put 500 down, they held it for me for a couple more days then i was back. Doug was amazing. They kept in contact with me until i got back simply because the car i was buying was in high demand (Chevy Chevelle ) and a lot of people were interested even willing to pay more but they honored my down payment which i was happy with. The day came early morning got there at 10am by 11am the process was complete. The manager was amazing too. I’ll come back again for a truck they have cool trucks. Highly recommend 😊

I bought a truck from here, nothing but problems!! I’ve changed fuel injectors, coil packs, spark plugs, wire harness, battery, and it leaks oil!! Now after three months of driving it and sticking money into it, I can’t even drive the truck!! They also pick the highest bank with interest! Nothing but a rip off and never would or will ever recommend them!! Bunch of jokes these are!! Lucky I don’t turn them in for lemon fraud!!!

My son purchased a vehicle here four months ago and was sold an extended warranty with it. This has been a nightmare!!! Oil leaks, air conditioner not working, and various minor issues he has had to fix. Now the motor is bad AND not covered in the warranty they sold him become the vehicle has a chip in it. Lake Street Motors claims to have no knowledge of this.They’re not willing to make any repairs or help in this matter whatsoever. Bad business!!! Buyer be aware!!!! Scammers !!!

When i call at 5 pm and schedule a showing at 10 am when you open i expect the vehicle that im looking at to be there. After driving 2 hours 1 way to find out they sold it they have me test drive a truck with known issues lights on the dash. Hard pass. Also told me that he does not take deposits or hold vehicles but that contradicts the review from 2 months ago
