This is a professional body shop that does what they say and does it well. Patrons are greeted with respect and courtesy. I found that the pricing was within reason and much lower that a car dealership, which was a thousand dollars more than Caliber.

I was involved in a car accident back in late January, decided to take my car to this location to get fix. After 2 weeks or so I got my car back and had nothing but problems with their repair work. Headlight system error light was on which they decided not to clear after replacing the headlight, the hood/fender gap was not fitted correctly, they cracked the new bumper after adjusting the hood/fender gap, the headlight assembly popped out after 1 week of driving. Recently I tried to do a oil change and notice the hood is rubbing against the fender so I cant open it. I was working with Ed on all these issues but after 4 times coming back to the shop I felt the shop could no longer fix my car correctly. I contacted my insurance and they agreed that the work wasnt up to par. Took it to another body shop and they confirmed what I already knew, the car wasnt fix correctly. It took an additional 2937.96 in corrective work to repair the damages.

Body work was done well and on time. I was kept informed of the whole process while it was getting fixed. Pickup got very smashed in an accident and now it looks great.

The estimator job is to assess the damage and appraise it. The guy here missed a big chunk of the damage. When confronted about it he blamed my girlfriend(no knowledge about cars) and said she didn’t tell him about it even though it was within 6 inches from the original damage that he reported. This place was a joke and I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. 1/10

Ive had my car fixed here a couple of times and had to stop in for an estimate. Theyre very helpful, nice, professional, efficient and they keep you informed every step of the way. They work closely with several different insurance companies. The place is clean and bright although not very customer friendly as far as waiting for your car, youre better off dropping it off and coming back later. If you need a rental or loaner car theyre very good about having one there for you when you drop off your car. Theyre also reasonably priced and honest so far as I can tell, although theyve never fixed anything under the hood for me, so I could be wrong but Im doubtful that I am. Overall, these guys are great!

People at Caliber Collision center are very friendly and supportive. They do not charge un-reasonable amount and value customers time. I went to them to change the number plate on my friends car. We tried to change the number plate ourselves but the screws on the number plate were rusted and did not move at all. We tried by applying WD-40 but still no use. By our multiple tries the screw head got flat and our screw driver was not able to grip on the screw any more. I called Caliber Collision center and Malcolm asked me to bring the car over. He said he will take a look at the screws and see if they can un-screw it. At the Caliber Collision center, he checked the condition of the screws and said the screw head is close to flat and it is difficult to use any screw driver. He brought some adjustable wrenches and tried to remove but the screws did not move. We had to tear out the old number plate to get the extra space at the screw for grip. He un-screwed the screws and replaced them with new steel screws(rust-free). Caliber Collision center did not charge me for this. They said it was a small job there is no charge for it. I insisted but Malcolm said, thats what we do, we support people and there is no charge for small help. Thank you Malcolm, you made my day.

So I had some rust spots starting on my 2016 Toyota Rav 4 from some gravel that sprayed on the hood. Took it to Calibar Collision for an estimate on Monday. They were able to get it in the next day to have the hood sanded down and repainted. Malcom was the gentleman that gave me a estimate and he was super knowledgeable and friendly. The estimate was affordable to.I was initially told this would take appx 2 days to repair, but it unfortunately took 3 days. Not due to anyones fault, but the hood had more rust then we initially thought. Malcom and the manager went out of their way to make it up to me.I would definitely go here again! The customer service was top notch from start to finish. The end result on my suv is amazing. Looks brand new again. Super happy customer!!

Great customer service!

My SUV got rear ended and the other party’s insurance agreed to pay for the damage. I scheduled an appointment to Abra Auto Body in Grayslake for an estimate. I got to Abra and spoke to one of the guy attendant. I explained i already have an estimate from another shop and wanted a second opinion estimate to decide where i want my car repaired. The attendant asked if i have a claim # then started explaining that if i don’t get the car fixed there, they would not give out an estimate. What ever happened to free estimates??? BEWARE! This shop purely do not care for people like me who are looking for options. Total waste of my time!!! Never going back there!

Over the years we have had work done at Central Auto Body. They did good work and stood behind their work. Since they were taken over by ABRA Auto Body the prices are higher and quality of work has declined and their lifetime warranty is worthless. I stopped there today to have them look at a bumper they installed which now has peeling paint on both sides of the bumper at the top by the wheel wells. Identical location - identical peeling. Theres a very bad scratch, which Im aware of lower on the bumper on the drivers side but there is NO peeling paint by that scratch. The representative looked at the peeling paint and said the warranty doesnt cover it because there are scratches. He couldnt explain why the location with the obvious, deep scratch didnt peel, but these two other locations did peel with a tiny surface scratch that could have been made with a fingernail and didnt even go through the paint. He went to get his boss to look at it, to confirm, but the boss just sent a message back through the first guy that the warranty doesnt apply. Too busy to be bothered, I guess. End of discussion. End of customer satisfaction.7/24/16 I am updating my prior post: I was contacted by the district manager for the Chicago area (I think that was his title) who arranged to come to my home and look at the bumper. He agreed that there was a paint adhesion problem. He worked with me to get the car taken to a different ABRA shop (Waukegan) and repaired at my convenience - at no cost to me. He was persistent and helpful in getting the problem resolved. I give him 5 stars. The car bumper was repainted, my car was cleaned inside and out when I picked it up. Thank you, Tom.

Called regarding replacement carpet for my vehicle today. I asked specifically to speak with someone that may be able to help locate the carpet as its a hard one to find to have replaced... I was brushed off by the receptionist. These guys are pro someone has the knowledge and she was not helpful even to take my number to attempt to help a possible future customer god forbid I had a crash. This is so close to my. House. Disappointed and let doen here ..

Great service got my car back quickly and the paint matched perfectly.

They repaired the front end on my 2014 Chevy Malibu and when I got it back there was overspray on the entire car, the front drivers tire had metal on metal rubbing sound and the rim they repaired no longer matched the other 3 rims. When they repaired these items I picked up the car again and now the paint has fine scratches everywhere even on the glass. Before I left they tried to polish out the scratches in the paint and told me I need to wax the car to get rid of the rest which they caused. Scratches on the glass they dont know how that happened and I gave up and traded the car. Stay away from Abra Auto Body unless you dont care about the quality of the work they do.

Horrible Service, They screwed up a simple job that cost me more in the long run to get fixed. They blame it on themselves that they are too busy. Customers suffer as a result!!!! If your looking for poor quality, poor service and no communication...this place is right up your alley. I did get my money back after 5 weeks of headaches and an incomplete job.
