The staff here are always willing to show you how to use the items that you buy there. The staff person walked me through how to recharge the A/C for my car. I did the actual work but they walked me through it. I will always shop there.

This is hands down the best AAP in all of Lake County, always have the parts i need. They have the best customer service of all AAP stores. I travel from Winthrop Harbor just go to that store.

I went in here with a pickle and Jason really helped me out. He was willing to look something up for me beyond the computer’s search function and search catalogues by taking measurements of a part I needed. In the end he saved me a lot of money and I really appreciate it.

Excellent service! Our Subaru battery died suddenly when visiting from out of town. We jumped it and got to this store. They quickly tested the battery, confirmed it needed replacement and swapped it out for us. Great experience considering the situation.

Knowledgeable staff and very helpful! A member named Craig assist me with getting a new battery, removing the old and installing the new. He was very kind and helpful from start to finish, he also suggested a terminal protector to help prolong the new battery’s life! He installed them too! I got a great deal and I will definitely return to this location. Outstanding!

I arrived at O’hare only to find someone clipped my car, destroying my drivers side mirror. As a senior, driving home to Grayslake on the tollway under the best conditions can be extremely stressful. Without my mirror my stress level tripled. I went directly to my local AutoZone where I was greeted by Jason - an extraordinary sales rep. He was so helpful and courteous! He knew exactly what I needed. I asked if he would put it on my car and without any hesitation he said he would. He was polite and efficient with a clearly positive attitude. He demonstrated a level of service that seems rare these days. Because of Jason, I will definitely return and also refer anyone who asks.

Poor service and very unprofessional staff. I ordered parts online and was given the wrong parts. When I came back they didn’t want to help fix the situation. Just go to autozone and save yourself the headache.

Manager was very rude with me I was having a problem with my credit card manager came up me yelling for no reason I told him there was no reason for him to yell I wasnt raising my voice I was already having a hard time with my credit card I didnt need it that so I walked away this all happened at Advance Auto Grayslake location after that I I went to the next Advance location in Round Lake they treat me very good and I bit my purchase there I love Advance Auto I always buy my stuff there today I felt so disrespected by this manager name Craig

I went there, and I bought a head light bulb to my car, I told the person behind the counter the year and the model of my car, so he gives me a bulb claming that part is a universal size, and it will work just fine on my car.Few hours after I tried to install the light bulb to my car, and it was a wrong part, so I went back to store, and I asked the tenant behind the counter ( her name was Ashly) for exchange with right part her answer was that she needs to see my Satate ID and the receipt. Which I dont have it on me that time, and also it doesnt make any sense because I paid for it in cash. So I asked for the manager or any person in charge who can resolve this problem her answer was that she is the manager, and she is not going to change the part.So I had 2 chooses left to drive back home through evening heavy traffic to get my ID with receipt or call Grayslake police and ask them for help.I called the Police, and the two officers were so helpful they went inside and talked to Ashly, and they get the right part for me.That place has the worst customer service, I had never seen anything like that in my lifemy recommendation is to stay away from that place. . They will waste your time and money.
