Excellent service and good prices in a year when its extra tough for bike shops. The new owner is GREAT!
I went in to simply have a tire put on a rim. It was a smaller rim and I lack the necessary tools to do the easy job. All I got was excuses and a genuine lack of want to help. I went to a tire store where they were more than happy to help. Ive gone to Knicker for decades and Ill never go back.
I’m biking the Northern Tier to Main. Just passing through town.Excellent mechanic who problem solved with me to make adjustments to the bike. Got me right back in the road at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend this shop.
I took my fat tire bike to get a tune up and convert my tires to tubeless. They had my bike for almost two months when I finally got it back. Took it out for a test ride the following day. The next morning I went to go for another ride and the back tire was flat. Finally took it to another bike repair place and was informed that gorilla tape was used to help seat the tire. That’s fine I know you can do that but he didn’t even go all around the tire. Never again will I give him any business or any referrals. Sorry I even went there.
Always go here when I need tires or tune ups!! Excellent service great staff!
Decent place. Appreciate the quick help
Awesome they did good job on my bike new brake shoes and adjusted my breaks good job
I took my bike in to get it tuned up, they were friendly. My bike was ready 3 days earlier than they originally told me, and it was less than $20. Im impressed!
I took a part in that I had needed for my daughter they didnt have it so they guys said he would order it, told me it would take a week. Waited that week called to see if part was in the told me yes went in to pick it up and they didnt have it. Third the Iv had to have them order a part.
Great place for a bike rental.
Helpful and knowledgeable staff
From 2019 I brought in my road bike for a tune up, the brake cables were stretching and it was not shifting well. The good: Speedy service. They said 7-10 days for them to get it done. They had it back in 48 hours! the brakes were adjusted well.Down side: the shifters were not adjusted right, not even close! the front derailleur was worse than when I brought it in. took it back to the shop and it took two more visits to get it even close to correct. I could have done this well on my own in stead of wasting $55 on what I would expect to be a expert tune up. Especially from the local dealer of the bike I bought there 2 years ago.I would hope that the new owners that bought the shop from JRs estate get some training, or hire someone that is much more experienced as a mechanic.
Go to scheels if you want to go back multiple times because they have no idea what they are doing. Most of their new bikes arent even built right. My friend bought a new trek 820 from there and it had shifting problems, a loose headset and poorly adjusted brakes. He had to go back 3 times before it was fixed correctly.
Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, honest and helpful. Amazing amount of inventory and selection. They carry some great brands of bikes; Giant, Specialized and Yeti, some of the best out there! I foresee that these guys are going to help grow the areas bicycling community. I have noted they have organized some club rides and are working on planning some events as well showing up at community events as a face and a presence. Hands on with people and businesses; to me this shows their commitment, interest and love for the cycling community no matter what size the tire.
We are in town on business and decided to ride bikes on the River Trail. This shop treated us well, and answered all of our questions (we didnt act as if we knew it all!!). They pointed out the trail, advised us of the mileage, etc. The bikes performed well, even with our inexperience! When in Great Falls, given a beautiful day, the best thing to do is to rent a bike from Knicker Biker and ride along the river
Great service, knowledgeable staff, and great prices!
I have done business with Knicker Biker for a year or so, in that time I have always been treated with courtesy and respect. While waiting my turn for service I have noted consistent service and courtesy to the customers before me.Showing up on a busy Saturday with the expectation of instant repair service in any LBS does not seem reasonable to me. If I am in that much of a jam over a simple repair that will only take 10 minutes then I will do it myself.
Great service, knowledge, and easy going.
Tried to get them to order some parts and fix a bike for me. I was told to Google it and so it myself, so I took it to someone else who made some good money off me. Gave them another chance and was told I would wait 4 days for a 30 minute job. Im about over their substandard service.
They were great thank you
Friendly staff. Helpful and notified of out of stock items due to covid supply chain failure.
They staff there helped give me knowledgeable advice. They charged me for the parts and installed everything on a bike they dont sell for free. I was extremely impressed with the service I received. I will definitely be coming back!
Professional service, fair prices, and good selection of parts. I came in with a broken spoke with the intent to replace the spoke myself. The shop was super busy but the staff made a point to welcome me and politely said they would get to me in a moment. When they got to me they told me they could replace the spoke for me for a really good price, and, they fit me in right away!Bottom line, I came in, they took care of me, and got me back on the trail again.
Great bike store, small but adequately stocked with a wonderful array of bikes
I am from the Flathead Valley, and was on a car / bike trip with my friend. My bike had numerous problems and so I took it in here to get the problems addressed. The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. My bike was done very quickly, and the price for repairs was very generous compared to what Im used to.
Pretty cool place. I just needed a Presta valve adapter. I was in and out just like that. Some cool bikes although I am not much I to cruisers and commuters.
Nice shop, very nice bikes and I was very surprised to see a winter sale in a specialty store like this. The bikes were great price. Mostly Trek though. Really good shop.
Best shop in town to get your bike fixed but theyre not in a rush to do it. Good quality products but your gonna pay well above online prices.
The 1 x 11 Specialized Fatty that I rented from Donald at the Knicker Biker made my dream hunt for elk and deer possible. The staff at the Knicker Biker accommodated my every need. I will definitely return my business to the Knicker Biker.
Good service he gave good prices
Best place for bicycles in town
Good quality bikes though a bit over priced. If I were a professional biker, I may look at purchasing one from here but but just normal street bikes are a little too much. Friendly staff and well stocked in bike parts and accessories kept me coming back.
They treat my son Aiden very well. They have his back especially when its contest time.
They are very poor on their knowledge of bikes, and the discrimination at that place is real.
Reasonable pricing fast and reliable
I agree, think long and hard before you do business with these crooks. They tried taking advantage our 16 year old son. Charged him $12 to fix his bike tube. We went from the store to our home not even to put it on the bike and the tire was flat. We took it back and they told us it would cost $18 for the 2nd repair. Are you kidding me?Our Auto tire repair shop charged us less than the $12 on our double stroller tube.We will never do business at this shop again. Sad to see a local business treat people this way. Go to SCHEELS.
Awesome! This is a great bike shop!
Just go to Scheels.
These guys really know their stuff. As bikes become more and more complicated I rely more and more on the KB staff to keep mine in top shape. Thanks Guys
I was extremely dissapointed with how they treated out of town customers here. Asked them to put my back wheel back on and set my chain. They said it would take 4 days and cost me ten bucks. It would literally take them ten minutes to fix my bike and the fact that they offered to help someone with a similar problem and have the job done in ten minutes while I was standing there.
Good work! Thanks Mark and isiah!
Always great!
Thanks Knicker Biker! Amazing Shop!
Running out of stock
Knowledgeable staff and good service
Will go above and beyond to help the customer
Very disappointed in their service and overall work
