Drove by a few weekends ago at night and low and behold, an actual 2022 Bolt EV! I went in the next day and spoke with Joe about it. Was able to take it for a test drive and was pretty impressed. After getting some very brochure information, I left to configure my vehicle. I then attempted to contact Joe and anyone at the dealership about getting more information about the vehicle and nothing. Havent been able to get anyone to call or email back about it so I went in and got some pictures of the vehicle. Not one salesperson seemed to know anything about it and had zero interest in selling or learning anything about. Such a shame, this is where the future is and the dealership could care less about it. Hopefully, theyll find someone whos passionate and knowledgeable about EVs (cough, cough) that could bring this vehicle, and the technology, into the spotlight and push to make this happen. Very disappointing the dealership could care less about it.
The console had to be removed during the work, and I was disappointed with the way it was done. The contents were simply tossed into the back seat and left there. They should have been put in a box or bag, and/or been returned to the console.
City Motors is easily the best dealership we have ever worked with. We bought, sold, and traded a vehicle this time and the experience was effortless and stress-free. My 2014 Traverse was brought in for warranty work. The transmission and sway bars were determined to be bad so they were replaced through warranty. All work was completed timely and considering it was a transmission replacement I have no concerns about amount of time it took. Vehicle Is back on the road, the sway bars definitely made a huge difference in the steering and handling of the vehicle. Codi was great, she kept me informed with what was going on with the vehicle. The rental car was a 2021 equinox great ride, still like my traverse though.
Wanted to buy a vehicle from them but the vehicle was in maintenance so I couldn’t proceed with the process. The next day they let another person put a deposit on it. They sold the vehicle right out from under me. Spoke to the manager and they didn’t seem to care and told me better luck next time. I would recommend doing your business elsewhere.
I took my 2013 Toyota for service at City Motors from when I purchased it with 55k until I moved out of state (94k). They were always honest and never tried to swindle me into services I didnt need. They respected my knowledge of vehicles and didnt patronize me. I felt I was getting a fair price for all the services they performed. I did end up having a complaint but after speaking with the service manager he quickly remedied the situation. I send all my friends and colleagues to City Motors for service on their GM and Toyota vehicles. Happy Great Falls has a trustworthy dealer because there are lots of corrupt ones (looking at you, Lithia).
We have bought most of our vehicles from City Chevrolet. They are always friendly and honest, the finance manager, Devon is easy to work with and he doesn’t try to sell you things you don’t need. We always deal with Tim Starkey, he is the best. He is always very helpful even when we’re not buying a vehicle, he has gone out of his way to help with any questions or concerns we have. The staff was courteous and got our vehicles in and out quickly.
Incorrect diagnosis of problem which led the staff to recommend replacing the entire engine. I do not believe the technician even looked into a faulty sensor. Also, my tires were left at a dangerously low level after the oil change and tire rotation. The balance is off I will need to take it somewhere else to have it re-balanced. We are very disappointed with this visit. I usually take my vehicle to City Motor for all maintenance.

Our car happened to need service at the same time as several others, so we were without our car for about two weeks. The parts were ordered but were delayed, I guess, because of CoVid. Lenny, shop foreman, was very good at communicating with us and helped us get a rental for a few days. We appreciated all the help and we were surprised when it was done half a week earlier than expected.
Fantastic dealership! Toyota has some of the best reliable and fuel efficient vehicles on the market. They’re completely transparent about their pricing and don’t do fishy business like most dealerships in town. GL was extremely kind and made sure I had everything I needed. I wasn’t stereotyped based on my age, and I wasn’t pressured into signing any papers. He was very thorough and made sure I knew everything about all the vehicles he showed me. Honestly the only place I’ll go in town.

I purchased a used vehicle from City Motors without a warranty. The car no longer runs with less than 1000 miles I put on it since I purchased it in December. I live over 80 miles from the dealership but must pay the towing charge to bring it in. The dealership gave me a new battery, which I requested within a week after purchase because the indicator light went on. Once the cold weather hit the car stopped running. Three wonderful employees and the owner of Dry Fork Ag, outside of Conrad worked on getting it started. Once ‘charged’ I went in to drive it home and it quit. After two and a half hours of these employees trying to get it running, it ran just enough to get it seven miles home. Once home, I left the car idling to charge up (the new battery) . The vehicle killed after 10 minutes. The next day my daughter attempted to jump start it with our 3500 Ram. Again it did not start.I am aware I purchased a vehicle ‘as is’ and without a warranty. This is the legal hinge City Motors is using to not correct the issue. Yes, they said they would look at it again but I would have to drive it to Great Falls. How do I drive a car that won’t start? They will reimburse me for gas but the rest is to diagnose and repair the vehicle is at my expense. I believe it is dangerous to drive an unreliable vehicle 80+ miles because a large towing expense is not in my monthly budget. But City Motors will reimburse me for gas . Such a generous offer!I am a well educated woman with a BA and two MAs but not wealthy, possibly a well educated fool. I have owned the car since December 9, 2020 and it sits in my driveway unable to start. Possibly I would be treated differently if I were well off financially.I write this review so others don’t experience the same economic hardship. If I was able to give a no star rating I would. One of my degrees is in Business. This is ethically bad business treating a customer in this fashion.Leslee Weber
This place is great! Very friendly environment, great people, and great service. Right when I walked in Jake Wallace was there to happily greet me. Sat me down and we talked about what I was looking for and did the search from there. All the other places I went just let me walk the lot till I found something I liked. They really couldn’t tell my why I should get it. Jake was able to tell me what he thinks would or wouldn’t be a good fit and why. Whole time he was very patient with me and answered all questions I had for him. As a first time buyer I had a lot of questing, and if he couldn’t answer it he would find someone that could. We finally closed the deal on a 1500 ram Laramie which my family and I truly believe I got a great deal on. Once again very great and welcoming people just looking out for your best interest. He confirmed the service required and promptly took the vehicle to the service area.It was pleasant experience considering the type of day I was having.The required maintenance was performed in a timely manner and he then gave me a quick run down on everything that was performed. The cashier was polite and personal as we discussed our evening meal plans.They even gave my dirty truck a quick wash down!! Very nice little touch to keep a happy customer coming back.

I purchased a Silverado from city motors in spring of 2014. My overall experience there was great and I have recommended them to multiple family members. One of the first things I noticed was how down to earth and professional the sales staff was. I really appreciate how they balanced respect and effort in trying to earn my business without being pushy or seeming to not care if you buy or not. I knew I wanted this truck but working with Matt and the rest of the team there made me know I wanted to buy from them. They were very professional and respectful during every interaction. Matt Johnson was also a big help in being patient and find the exact truck I wanted. Then getting it at a price I could afford. But really so far the best thing about City Motor Company has been the service after the sale. They still contact me regularly to make sure I am happy with the product and services I received. We purchased our car just a week only, and already found 3 problems on the car.Long story short, we contacted the Customer relations manager and she talked to the owner and handle the problems.They really work good effort to keep their customer happy.
Today I had to take my Yukon to city motors to have the GPS antenna replaced. Somehow Water had managed to shorten out the elements. The circumstances were very unusual as to how this could have happened. John, the service manager and another employee in that area, Zack, show me every courtesy and concern for my situation and, I was extremely happy with the outcome.
I bought my 2013 Sequoia from them 3 months ago great experience there but what I am reviewing today is thier utter failure in service and communication. I Took my car in to have them check why the lights all turned on . they said I did not need an appointment and that they would check out my car if not that afternoon by tomorrow morning, as they only have 1 Toyota service tech . ( What you are a toyota dealer !?)I received no calls the next day and figured Id give them til the end of the day to ask what was up with my car. Was told no one knew anything about it and could see my car was entered in the system but nothing had been done whatsoever ever for two day . When verifying that that was what she was telling me she simply said yep I guess so .I asked for my car back and keys with no apologizes or anything from them.Worst tech services and customer service I have ever experienced and am appalled by their lack of communication or accountability . I Will not be returning to this dealer and if this is how they continue to treat their regular customers I wouldnt recommend them to anyone either in this small town.
Took my chevy equinox in to the service center because the transmission is making a loud rattling noise and sometimes when i start it it clunks really hard. Like it has a broken flex plate. They told me the rattle was the fuil pump and there is nothing wrong with it. Charged me 100 dollars. Ther shop is a joke. Do not by there extded warrants. They dont stand behind it.they think every one is stupid.

A very expensive trip, but more do the cost of parts vs. labor. A frustrating experience because of that. However, service was good and I think they did a nice job. Two critiques. 1)hard to get someone to answer their phone to schedule appointment. 2) wish they would have washed it after the repair was done. They usually do.Update: after submitting my review, I received a phone call with an offer to take care of the car wash. Very nice City...very nice. I will be back.
Matt Johnson at City Motors sold me my last pickup. Matt was knowledgeable and great to work with. I will definitely buy from him again when the time comes. I also prefer to service my vehicles at City Motors because I know it is done right. While the quick lubes are quick to overcharge, City is just as fast and does a better job.

I love the service at City Motors. I bought my truck there and will never have it serviced sny where else. The staff greets me with a smile and checks me in efficiently and gets my truck right in. I know the job is done right and I get a free wash. Today, I had a nail in my tire. I called in the morning, they got me in and I dropped it off during my lunch. The guy from the garage came right out and took my tire. They take care of their customers and staff. I get lots of smiles and hellos from the service department and salesmen. The service in unmatched. Thanks, City Motors for always being there when I need you. Hats off to a rare company that constantly goes above and beyond.
Took by 18 Silverado in for a schedule oil change . Quick and clean. I was going to start doing my oil changes but they offer a fair price and quality work. Ill be back.

(Update)Although the service is great, a day after we purchased the vehicle we found the Bluetooth is not working, also the ECM been recalled since Nov 8, 2918. We need to go all the way to the dealership in Missoula to fix it (ended up found out the radio is bad need to back there again for a replacement) Few days later found the clips of the fender feel off so the fender liner been grind by the wheel...makes us doubt how well they check their vehicle before put them up for sale...

Absolutely the worst! Tim Starkey sold us a vehicle that the company KNEW had a defective paint job. We spoke with the purchasing manager and he gave a recommendation to NOT sell the vehicle. They are willing to screw over anyone and everyone. We tried to get them to do the right thing, but they are all cheap talk!
I was in to get my vehicle serviced and was so irritated by the staff. After reiterating the reason for my visit 3 times and specifically asking if they could fill the rock chip in my windshield while getting my oil changed I left for a couple hours. The complimentary shuttle was amazing and the gentleman was so friendly ( the only reason I gave two stars). I came back to get my vehicle and nobody could find my car or my paperwork and I was on a time crunch. After 15 minutes waiting I got my vehicle and the rock chip was not filled and to find out they never even looked at it. I waited another 10 minutes for the body shop to come over and say they could try and fill it and it would take another hour or so. Didnt have all day so I just left. So disappointed because I have to drive just under two hours for service to begin with. It makes me wonder what else wasnt done on my vehicle.

Brought my vehicle in because the service engine soon light was on. I was told about the problem and they repaired it in a timely manner. When I picked up my vehicle they had it washed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I dealt with Mike Smith, at first through e-mails. I asked for a quote on a 2017 Spark he found for me. When I wrote out a check for the car, it was for the exact amount he had quoted! (no additional, hidden fees). I was amazed... but that has shown me that City is an up-front, easy-to-do-business-with dealer.
They dont even deserve the one star but I had to put that to comment. City Motors should be ashamed of themselves to say the least! My son bought a pickup from them. It was not a cheap pickup either! It broke down a few weeks after he had it. Long story short, they refused to fix it even with the warranty. I am sure they knew something was wrong with it long before they sold it. So now my son is stuck paying a large payment every month, plus the insurance on a pickup he cant even drive because the cost to fix it is starting at $4000! I feel they took advantage of a 19 year old kid, just starting out in life. Again, City Motors should be ashamed of themselves! But I am sure they dont care because after all, they are a big company and have plenty of money coming in. I know I will greatly discourage anyone from buying from them and I know I wont ever do it. I will tell many people my sons experience.

I went in for a general service on my Silverado 2500 HD which included a oil change and a couple other things and they told me they were real busy but it was rather funny because they came and got me not very long after I got there which was really impressive because thats the quickest Ive ever been in and out of there. A real excellent group of people and a business to go to and Im glad Ive always bought my vehicles from City Motor Company.
Traveling from El Paso, TX, I stopped at City Motor due to an AC malfunction in my 2015 Chevy Traverse. Ray, the service tech, Ray, was very courteous and understanding. Within a few hours the AC was fixed, and was on my way. If youre in the area and need repairs, dont hesitate to seek the services of Motor City.
One part for my vehicle was hard to come by, an AC condenser. My benefits ran out for a car rental through my insurance and the truck was not complete. City Motor gave me a loaner car until the part was received and installed. It took a week and a half. If I didnt have that loaner car I would have no job today. This is customer service to the max and I appreciate it.
I was able to schedule an appointment for my work van quickly. Drilling down into what the damaged area. Friendly service, Nik double checked whether it was a switch being on or off as a pre-diagnostic measure.
