Ive always had bad experiences with Brakes Plus. Ive been to the one in Brighton and in Greeley. I got my Brake pads replaced in Brighton. They kept changing the price and when I said the price was wrong they pretended (like every other time) that they messed up on the price and dilly dally pressed a few buttons to make it a little bit lower without any fact checking. In Brighton and Greeley I was give a quote on the phone, then before the service, then after the service. All completely different amounts each time. After this service in Brighton I still heard grinding and making noises.So I went to Greeley to check the brakes. they said it was perfectly fine and piled on more issues that my car had that I needed to pay for. It cost me 400 dollars when the price is supposed to be 129.99 for the simple service I wanted. They added on things to do just to milk my money. So they do my brakes and I go to Autotailor for a winter safety inspection through Triple A.Autotailor heard the brakes and the grinding and talked to me about it. I went to Brakes plus 2 times to get my brakes checked and they said there was nothing wrong. They also changed the price one me numerous times and acted like oops. The brakes plus chain shops are a joke. I spent about 800 dollars on the brakes and CV axle repair they said I needed. Now I might need to get new brakes because Brakes Plus cheated me out of my money and I will go to a different mechanic. I want my time and money back. I am so disappointed.

Exceptional service! Jess was really professional and courteous. They replaced the defective battery (covered under warranty) and took care of the battery charging tests and labor charges. No doubt I will visit them again. Good customer service.

I have used the Greeley Brakes Plus several times. Not once was I ever made to feel uncomfortable using them. They have always treated me fairly and have always been honest with what was wrong. They have always stood behind their work and their parts. They have a great team at the Greely store. I had an emergency I called them they fixed my issue and even stayed. The manager was fantastic. I cant say enough good things about them. I really appreciate all they did for me.

The mechanic I have been going to for years told me I had 4 major things wrong with my suspension. It would have run me in the ballpark of $1200, to $1800. I dropped it off at brakes plus just to put a different set of eyes on it. Not only did they find that those 4 major repairs the previous guys mentioned were absolutely fine, the thing that was actually wrong with the suspension wasnt even found by the first shop. They saved me well over a thousand dollars when they easily could have gave me the same number I was given. Highly recommend this shop. Brandon was incredibly friendly and helpful. Will be coming here from now on.

I kind of find it weird that I paid to get my brake pads and break rotors replaced with brand new ones (my brakes were metal on metal) and then a few days later I go to my regular mechanic for an oil change and general safety inspection and they say my brake pads only have 30% life left. Of course now I don’t know who to believe so I took the tires off in my driveway one by one to see yep, the brake pads given to me were not brand new. I ordered new pads and had to replace them myself and will have to do my own car maintenance from now on. In the end I did not feel safe with their work. Where did they get these used pads? Off their previous customer? Thanks a lot.

What a pleasant experience I had at Brakes Plus! This was the best customer service I have found in all of NOCO. Kelly, the service advisor was an absolute pro and took great care of me. As a single woman going into places for auto maintenance and repair can be intimidating. However, Kelly immediately made me feel comfortable and she went over and above the call of duty when I asked about my tires. Kelly gave me excellent recommendation for future services like tire rotation & aligning. I couldnt believe she took her time to make me feel important as a customer should be. I highly recommend this group of mechanics and Kelly for making my day.

These guys do a great job for us, no complaints. Mechanic work is tough to rate because it’s expensive and trust is on the line. If I knew how to do it myself in a timely and affordable fashion I would…but I don’t.

Friendly and hard-working! They were short-staffed the day I had an appointment, yet they still met the estimation that they had given me at the counter when I asked. I spoke to a couple mechanics who were both polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Would definitely go again!

This is the second time I visit this place, both times the coffee was cold, there is people who doesnt matter how hot or cold the weather is they like their coffee hot so and the first time it happened I asking for get a hot fresh coffee they say is cold because I add cream to it, but so far this is the only place where the coffee gets cold with adding cream, not happy at all with this particular place, they should keep the coffee fresh and hot

Thursday morning I called a few places to see if I could get my girlfriends car in for an alignment because the night before, we slide on some ice and banged her right passenger tire and back tire on a curb pretty hard. Every shop had a weeks wait minimum. Brakes Plus said I could bring the car in and if they could fit it in before close they would as they had about 12 cars ahead. We brought the car in and came back at about 5:45 and Kelly told us ours was almost finished! She was super helpful and caring. She took more time and put more effort into helping me than any one else has in a shop before. She cared about my situation, helped me figure out what my next move was, and even gave me a few recommendations on who to call to get the rims fixed up. She was great! I’ll definitely be back!

I came into the shop in hopes of just getting the one thing I knew I needed done. After the inspection of my car, they came and let me about everything that they recommended I get done. After letting them know I would only be able to get that ONE thing I knew I needed, they put their heads together and helped me out! They found some coupons and the lovely tech “donated” his labor so that helped a lot! This single mama was so thankful and I was in tears because of their kindness and willingness to help out! They did what they could to make sure this mama and my two kiddos left the shop in a safe car.

Great service! Awesome communication and they didnt try to sell me all kinds of stuff I didnt need so thankful for that. Prices are reasonable.

I fully recommend this branch. Jes S the Manager is incredible and really listens to concerns while also getting to know the customer. Branden and Joseph at the front go out of their way to help. I got a ride home when needed and my Jeep was done in the time they promised at the price agreed upon. Use this branch as they truly care.

Charged my boyfriend for an hours worth of work when they only worked on the car for 15 minutes, couldve charged for 30 minutes refused, furthermore they messed up the car after replacing the battery and refused to fix the issue that they caused, talked to the owner and they pretty much said its his problem now, if i could rate lower i would this is extremely unprofessional most decent mechanics would own up and correct the problem they caused

Great customer service! I bought a used car sand brought it in for an oil change and it also needed coolant and power steering flush. I didnt have enough money for all of that but they helped me with some coupons and got me back out on the road safely! I feel confident leaving that my car was well taken care of and in great hands. I took it in for a break problem. I get told it was the tires. Payed for alignment was told that was the problem. Went back because it did not fix the problem. I had nothing but excuses for why they couldnt find the problem the first time. They manager compared a human to a car how their tecks cant always get it right like a doctor misdiagnosed .Then have the same tecntion look at it when he failed the first time. Then the cashier runs her mouth about covid symptoms as an example of their diagnoses . You have it one day nobody sees it the next it their. And they where no mask. Will never go back to this location again.

I have been visiting Brakes Plus for a while now. They have done many repairs to both of my vehicles. From minor oil changes, alignments, to my steering and suspension. Jess (Manager) and the guys have always been straight forward with me on repairs and if they come across any other issues. Dropped my car off at 9:00 am and then came back at 3:00 pm and again at 5:30 pm. They never did the oil change and I took my car back home empty handed.To update this happened a second time. 6/15/21 Left the car at 8:00am and came back to get it at 4:30pm. They never even touched it.

Superior service and quality! Front desk was very helpful, almost closing time but she fit me in, friendly environment hearing playful clean jokes. And i asked the man rotating my tires to add a little time draining the old used oil because I was a little overdue for a change and he did. They did a awesome job repairing my car

We had brought our vehicle in for our scheduled oil change on Thursday 04/08/21 as we were preparing for a trip to New Mexico that day. After returning from our trip we woke up the next morning to a huge puddle of oil underneath our car and hardly any oil left in the vehicle. I brought the car back to your shop on 23rd ave in Greeley and apparently the manager of the store had called out so I was unable to speak to them about this issue according to the man who I spoke with this morning.He than proceeded to tell me a lie and that the oil filter was faulty thats why it drained most the oil out of the car. I have done enough oil changes myself to know that is not true and the only reason the car woulda lost that much oil is from tech error...either with the plug being stripped or the oil filter not being put back on properly.I watched the same tech correct the issue this morning and witnessed him put a new drain plug on the car...yet according to the man I spoke with he still stated it was a faulty oil filter which it wasnt. I also witnessed the tech fail to fill the oil filter with oil this morning while correcting this issue. The man at the shop asked the tech if he filled the filter with oil and the tech lied and said yea when i just witnessed him failing to do so and they let me drive away like that.The man I was dealing with shoulda just been honest and admitted to the tech error as its understandable that accidents happen but dont insult people intelligence with lies. I was also told I couldnt get a refund or credit on the next svc because the manager called out and they didnt know when they would be back in to go over compensation regarding this inconvenience. I now have big puddles of oil that i have to clean and have to come out of pocket to get the stuff to clean it up.We had great service here up until this issue and I feel this wasnt handled properly at all and very unprofessionally...the man was very unhappy with his job it seemed and talking down about management and operations of the shop last week not realizing there are customers listening to all this.I will not be returning to Brakes Plus for future services and wanted to send this email to bring light of the situation and how it was handled...I would recommend going elsewhere for all your vehicles service needs. Not even worth the 1 star we gave em.

I had a battery replacement here. Jess and the other staff were super helpful. I was late picking up my car and they had to stay open a few extra minutes; even so, they were super kind and it seems like they did a pretty decent job.

Did some suspension work and then had a scheduled appointment last minute. Car got in and aligned in a timely manner which is great. Unfortunately my ride got a flat moments after dropping my car off which made me miss the pick up time. John, I believe his name was, understood and worked with me to make sure my car was safe, but I was also able to pick it up. That alone was great which definitely deserves 5 stars. Also, always friendly staff from checking in to picking up. Thanks!

I had some breaks put on at this location. Then I moved and stopped using this location, because I moved and honestly I didnt trust them. So I take it to my new mechanic and he says I need new breaks, actually I took it to two different mechanics and they both said I needed new breaks. And both of them said that the rotars where not needed. So I look at my old receipts and see that breaks plus put on the breaks. I call them up and tell them the problem, they say that I most likely will need new breaks that are under warranty, not sure about the rotars most likely not. So I took my car into breaks plus and they looked at it and told me I needed pads and rotars. Brakes plus say yes and two other respected mechanics that manage their shops said I didnt. I could tell the mgr was most likely from brakes plus wasnt being honest (my opinion) because he was looking down at the floor and not at myself while he was telling me this. So I decided to go with another mechanic who put new pads on, and did not put rotars on because they where not needed. Nice try Brakes plus on trying to rip me off but it didnt work!!. Let me give you some advice, be honest to your customers and fix what is needed at a fair price, and they will come back, if you try to rip them off and try to make them think that you are getting them a good deal because of some BS coupons, and not being honest, you will lose customers fast.!

My brakes were squeaking, so I figured that I’d better get them looked at. It was super easy to make an appointment online, they stuck to their timeframe of an hour, and I found out that my brakes are like new. They completed the inspection for $0. My experience was amazing, and if my brakes need attention in the future, I will definitely bring my car back here.

I’ve got to give it to this brakes plus, especially the general manager Chris Wood. I tried to replace my own breaks and messed up pretty badly. I was able to speak with Chris over the phone and he guided me through exactly what I needed to do. I appreciated the conversation so much that I had the car towed to the Greeley location and the staff over there was very professional and efficient! I was able to get my car back on the road and drive my family around safely. I will never try to replace my own brakes again I will always take it to a professional!!

My husband dropped off our car. From the start we received excellent service. They greeted us and let us know all our options for doing our brakes and found us a price we could work with. We will be back again.

I never do a review!! I went in to do an alignment for my car. I did not ask for it to be inspected! All I wanted was an alignment because my car pulled to the RIGHT. The person that did the alignment said that there were so many things wrong with my suspension. Wanted to charge me more that what was advertised!! Because I didnt want work done on my car I honestly feel like I was sabotaged to go back!! My car now pulled to the left!!! Horrible alignment!! DO NOT GO HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL END UP PAYING WAAAAAAY MORE THAN YOU EXPECT!! LEAVING YOU BROKE!! I had to take somewhere else and pay for another alignment!!! They didnt have no problems or issues did exactly what I wanted JUST the alignment. I paid exactly what was advertised!! Do your research!!

The guys at this shop are very fast, and have a wealth of knowledge on cars. I had a transmission problem this morning and in a few short hours my car was fixed, WITH an oil change and all trimmings. I will be using them exclusively from now on.

They replaced my brakes and were honest about what I needed done and what I could wait on replacing. They offer lifetime warranties on their brake pads! If highly recommend them! Is it possible for Brakes Plus Management to tell the line mechanic to Over Tighten the lug nuts on a customers vehicle, after the customer declines the estimate for their recommended brake work? Revenge ?

They do a great job at this brakes plus! I have been there a few times with great service each time. Mike is the Manager at this location and he sets his shop apart from others. Mike does it all to make for a great customer experience. Anything from taking you to a place when you need a ride to acknowledge your kids are as important as anyone else. If he is not at the front desk he was in the shop helping and checking in on them. Mike’s staff is polite and always working hard. It goes to show that people see the difference they are always busy. I highly recommend this hard working team!
