Shopping carts are an embarassment. Store is clean and well organized. It would be nice to see the manager pick up front and slack rather than.attending to paperwork or side work.

Always a great place to buy household items and even furniture at great prices.

They dont always have what I need but what they do have is cheaply priced and you can find some great gems here, especially items that are on sale. Great seasonal items.

Went here on 12/20/2018, only to find out that they are closing this month or mid January 2019.This was truly a large Big Lots store that sold furniture.On this day everything was 30% off. They had a good stock of comforters, pots and pans, hair care products, auto products, Christmas cards, cleaning products, batteries, candy, and some seasonings.The store is located at Jermantown Road and it is joined to a Walmart. It is on public transportation on the 1C Metro bus route from the Dunn Loring Metro Station. The bus is marked Fair Oaks Mall. The bus runs weekday and weekends until 10:00 pm.You might want to call to see if they are still open and how much percentage is off. The manager said that they will be selling the fixtures.I really hate to see them go!

I love shopping at Big Lots the savings and prices all good

I went here on 8/31/17 and purchased some ketchup. When I got home I noticed the expiration date was for 8/28/17. Now I have to make the drive back to return this expired ketchup that has been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long. Im highly disappointed. Purchased a coffee maker that was open box, but was given no discount even though its condition called for a discount. It was the last one on the shelf, which was the only reason why I ended up buying it.

I would really give dis store a 0 star rating all becuz a lady ruined me a 13 year olds day. As soon as she was talking to me bout that I couldnt be at the store yea crazy right. I said Im just looking for my parents. She said well let me help u look for ur parents. I said ok but I really didnt need help. She wuz all up on me as soon as I walked in. She probably thought I was gonna steal or somtin but really I was looking for my family. I was gonna buy something but after that I wasnt at all. This lady needs to chill with her customers or else she will lose them all well they most likely have. Silly story to happen to a 13 year old not a 5 year old.Well then mean lady shout out to uSincerely the 13 year old kid not 5 year old u wuz all up on.

I went today to buy a Christmas tree I paid with my Debit card, but the cashier toll me her system was offline so we have to do it again I asked her if she was sure becasuse I saw it was approved! But she make me swipe my card again I toll her to check if we did twice?She looks 100% sure but I’m not.She call her manager manager ( team leader) came with bad actitud to toll me if the money is getting twice you have to call 1800 🤬I spend my time calling my bank to be sure and it happens they get my money 2 times!!Cashier toll me again to call 1800 🤬I toll her no way you have to give me my money NOW!!!She call the manager again she make me wait finally she came back with her bad actitud to refund my money!!!Why she till me to call 1800 when she knows it wasn’t my fault! Not just that why bad actitud with customers????

When you get to the register the price is always different then the shelf price and they just brush it off and not Grant you the lower price so yuck
