Its Walmart. As us staff members say. I suppose I should say Associates, but since Sam Walton died, so has the company.This store is understaffed, but well taken care of for that. My team and I make sure of that daily in the fresh meat, deli, and produce areas. If youre looking for decent prices, this is your place. If you find the same product in another store for a lower price, we match it. If you find a similar product for a lower price.. I dont think that counts.With prices rising, especially on beef, I have gotten many complaints about the prices. However, theyre about the same everywhere else.In any case, decent store, decent prices, and as always, we are all happy to help.

Clean store, well organized. Fruit and vegitables looks fresh. Not very busy for a Saturday. This Wal-Mart has a Claires inside.

Its Walmart, the anti-economy. Sam Walton and Paul Harvey promoted made in America. The masses shop there because it is so much cheaper and thats it, they could care less about supporting the American economy or if items come from abroad. Its just human nature.

This store is usually pretty clean. Not too many carts in the parking lot.

Very long check out lines. It is great that they do the grocery pickup, but am often times blocked by the Walmart employees leaving their carts in the middle of the aisles.

Waited 40 minutes in line to check out. 3 registers open with the end of their lines all the way back in the clothing depth. Counted more than 25 costumers in self check out.Lines are ridiculous. Spent more time waiting to check out then it took me doing all my shopping in several different departments spending over $400.00.

They are always out of the Wrigley chewing gum long-lasting flavor...The other flavors are all covered no problem..Youd think they make two rows of the long-lasting flavor... They are always out of that flavor... But the other flavors seem to just sit there waiting for someone to please take them..

The pallets in the Isles make it an unpleasant shopping experience.

I thought of 3 stars as locals mostly dont mask but curbside pickup really works here. Only grocery in the area that offers this. They have my loyalty these days.

Random items out of stock, pallets blocking aisles, long lines at checkout. Deli closed at 6pm on a Thursday. Just always something making the shopping trip more of a pain than it should be.

Its Walmart, we all know how they are, the biggest complaint about them is the self checkout. Why have them but can use them. Several times gone in there and lines are backed up because no one is working the checkout lanes and the self checkout lane is closed.

Never enough cashiers. Couldnt even find a handicap spot to park for my grandson. Maybe some spaces would be available if there wasnt such long lines. And why should I work there? Sometimes self checkout is all that is open. When you have a whole cart there is no room. I ended up leaving and spending my $200 at Meijer.

I do love the convenience of having the supercenter but the staff are not very kind or courteous most of the time. I understand people dont want to be there and would rather be at home but it really makes the difference. The store is generally very clean and everything is tidied up. Prices are what you would expect from a Walmart so all in all pretty decent. If they can improve friendliness of staff I would gladly give 5 stars.

Honesty pretty bussin, they have food so I like that. Also Walmart has lots of wacky people so I like finding different types of people. Its like collecting pokemon but In real life. Oh wait thats pokemon Go.

Self check outs are down. Only 2 registers open. No appearance from a manager. All those people lined up to check out.

I love being able to order my groceries and then my husband picks them up on his way home.from work. The team members working to shop for you do a good job as well as the ones who load you vehicle. Big plus when you are unable to walk around and shop.

This walmart needs some help my cashier didnt seem like she cared to be there and just complained the whole time we were checking out. 🤔 if your employees are complaining to customers that really says a lot about the management. Just food for thought.

Waited in lines 15 minutes put my stuff on belt and cashier stated to all of us in line that she has to close the register and go to self check out so we were all going to have to go to another checkout. They closed the one right beside it at the same time so that left 2 registers that already had extra long lines they had to funnel everyone to. Ridiculous!!

Longest lines of any Walmart I have ever been to in 15 states.

Go ahead & drive to Plainfield. More selection & youre going to spend that hour of drive time, standing in line to check out. Theyll tell you its b/c no 1 wants to work, make more in unemployment, blah, blah, blah, as to why there arent enough cashiers. However, while walking thru the store to do your shopping, youll pass the store shoppers in @ least every other aisle. I heard a lady say This would be a good place to start a store, shes right. Nothing like going in for 5 things & not having 3 of those items in stock. Just shut it down & let a real store take over the building.

Not senough cash registers opened and the lines were very long and waiting was way to long.

Go early, much faster.

I had a horrible experience there, none of the cash registers were working right. I stood in line for an hour finally got my groceries put on to the belt, and by the time I did that and they were all unloaded the cash register completely shut down. Everyone who was behind me got to go ahead of me in the next line.

Dont go there between 2:30 to 3:00. Factories let out at 2:30 and theres no left turn light. Youll be stuck for 15+ minutes getting out.During busy hours they have about 2 checkout aisles open and Ive seen the line backed up half way through the grocery to get checked out. This includes self checkout.They need better management.

This walmart has some of the rudest managers I have ever talked to. I do not recommend goin unless its out of sheer necessity

Its a walmart but a good one

Every time I go to Walmart they are just super inconvenient. I am a server and all I do is carry cash. Today I went in to buy a few things the total was only $6. I had not seen any signs where it said that they were only taking card and no cash. Needless to say I didn’t get anything because I had nothing on my card. The friendliness of the workers are terrible. I had seen an elder lady being “helped” by a worker and the whole time she was being very rude rather than helping her kindly. Overall terrible service and very inconvenient place to shop.

One of the worst Walmarts that I have been to. They are always out of everything and their produce section is kinda gross. Tons of bugs swarming the fruit today. They always have aisles blocked with boxes of inventory. I swear they never restock the bird stuff in their pet section. I would rather go elsewhere.

Well its Walmart they have most of everything you need only issue is never enough people at the registers for you to check out and the self checkout always has problems

Aisles are wide and navigable. Most if the time you have to wait,not real long but every line jas about 5 shoppers in front of you. Although we went late at at night and had an issue. It took the manager about 10 mins but we ended up really coming out way ahead. He made it right.

I asked to sales associates where the craft section is and neither one of them knew. No big deal, I found it ok. They were still very nice and kinda pointed in the direction they thought it was. The store was pretty clean and tidy even after the holiday rush. You couldnt tell they had been bombarded by shoppers just a week or two ago. All in all, my trip was pleasant and non rushed. 👍😊

Would like the primo water exchange to be fixed never gives tickets. Then you have to wait at service desk to get. Sometimes nobody there because short staffed. Either fix or give codes to cashier.

Love Walmarts curbside pickup. The ease of placing the order, matched with the ease and speed of the pickup process is 5 stars. For everyone trying to limit their interaction with the public its a great thing.

The self checkouts are not a solution if you have a weeks worth of groceries. The one lane with a cashier that is backed up into the clothing is not cutting it. Get the cashiers back or we will shol where they do have them.

Person in garden center snapped at me when I asked him about a product . Then my cashier rung up my bananas twice .

I will literally never go to this store again unless big changes are made. They do not enforce masks. Their employees either do not wear masks or have them around their chins. The store is disgusting. There was a pack of raw pork chops on the shelf with fresh foods. It is just nasty. After being in the store for about an hour, I was told at the register after all my groceries were bagged and in my cart that the store was currently cash only and that I would have to use the ATM in the store to get cash out. So they charged me $2.50 to take the money out and then my bank charged me $3 for the ATM use. And they refused to give me any kind of compensation.

Good on cleanliness. They lose 2 stars for stocking the shelves during busy hours and having encountered several rude employees over the last year (2019- mid2020). If those two things arent a deal breaker, head on over. They pretty much have eveyerhting you need to sustain yourself in corn country. ;)

I was very disturbed by trying to purchase items that they had blocked by large rolling tables and carts with signs saying not to be sold until Friday Nov 27th. There is no reason to keep someone from purchasing other items because you want something in the way for 2 days. Whomever thought that this was acceptable needs to be removed from that position and someone with common sense to take over. Very disappointed in my once favorite store

I go shopping at night time the store is nice and clean. Workers are very busy stocking shelves and not standing around and there very polite asking if I need any help.

The Greencastle WalMart is one of the finest. A very helpful associate led to a couple of items down wide, uncluttered aisles. I will make the drive there from now on instead of the half dozen or so other stores in the quad-county area.

The staff is always polite and professional, and they see that the lines are not backed up

Only one auto check out and one cashier at closing. Many people waiting in line. You would think that you would want to help the customers out so you could close the store quickly.

I witnessed the employee at the door step in front of another customer as if to block her from entering because her mask was a tad below her nose. What madness is this? At least she made the attempt to wear one. It had to have been embarrassing for this lady to be treated like that, but the door greeter had to get their power kick in to make themselves feel empowered beyond their realistic lot in life -- which is a minimum-wage Walmart door greeter.This mask BS needs to stop. Its causing more problems than its solving. I say its time to take off the masks.

I mean it is Walmart where they do nothing but put out fires rather than prevent them. No one ever seems happy at any location. Lines are always long, baggers can be very slow, and often times you cant find what you actually need.
