Terrible customer service and lack of knowledge from each employee we encountered. One of the employees didnt know what she was doing (taking photos of my sons eye) it was clear she had never been trained as she was guessing her way through it and had to get another employee to do it for her. Waited over 30 mins for a doctor to appear on a teleconference- Ben the employee kept looking at his phone, and says my ride is here waiting, Ive gotta go! He proceeds to leave the exam room and get the other employee who doesnt know what she is doing to sit in the room and wait with us. I decided to leave and cancel the appointment all together. It was overall a very uncomfortable, negative experience. I would not recommend coming here. I will be reporting this experience to their corporate office.

Horrid way to schedule appt.. you don’t get a choice online.. then they call you next day and still get it wrong.. my 95 yr old Mother had to go for appt (which ended up being not what I requested) and had nothing done.. and now has to go back again thru Southridge Mall with a walker because they couldn’t get it right the first time.. hare this system.. not personal phone person.. not at all happy.. hope they can correct these issues.. very disgusted 😡😡😡

Vey bad customer service here. Recently visited, the women who is the entrance main square area is always on the phone doing here personal work and doesnt respond properly for the questions and very rude in answering. I dont recommend this place at all.

Update: Per Visionworks response below, I emailed them and 2 days later, going on 3, still havent gotten a response either.Expect to wait 3 weeks MINIMUM for your orders to be ready. Ordered contacts after I got my eye exam with them and it’s still not there yet. Gave them a week for order and shipment. Didn’t hear any updates so I called 2 weeks later and they said my package should be in the shipment that came that day and will call me the next day once they sort through the orders. Never received a call. Now a week later I called again and they said the exact same thing. No one can tell me if there’s tracking info or when to expect my order. They just keep telling me to “wait for a call”. I asked how much longer I’ll need to wait and the lady said it only takes about 7-10 days from the order date. Informed her it’s been three weeks and all she could say is “well, we’ll call you when we see it.”IF it only takes 7-10 days and it’s been 21 days, then clearly something is not right and it should be looked into.

Update: I spoke to general manager last week, and she offered to resolve the issue. Told me she would ship my contacts out the following business day and send me a tracking number. Its been a week now, and no contacts. Called the store at 11am, general manager answered and listened to my concern. Then told me she needed to call back because she was with someone. Its now past close and I have not received a phone call back, nor do I have my contacts. Now its been two weeks that they took my contacts and havent sent me new ones.Terrible customer service and completely unprofessional. Tried to resolve an issue for the past week. Have been told every time I call that they cant talk to me because customers are in the store. I even offered to call at a specific time. Still no resolution, and they have my entire contact order sitting in their store. So I have no contacts and no one is able to assist. I would never recommend this store.

Well they cancelled my appointment that I made a year in advance for my daughter. I was a reoccurring exam they set up as a curtesy only to find out after I got the text reminder of the appointment, they went and cancelled. it. They thankfully squeezed us in at her original appointment time. I was getting both glasses and contacts. My glasses took 3 weeks to get (I get it Covid), but here I am a month and a half later still waiting on the year supply of contacts I ordered. The claim they need to track them down. Im still waiting on an answer...

The worst customer service i’ve ever experienced. i called ahead of time to make sure my insurance covered my exam 100%, after the exam they tried to charge me 20$ for a special photo that they took of my eye. the man who was working with me was extremely rude, even made me cry out of embarrassment when i couldn’t afford the already taken photo. when i ordered contacts i was told my insurance covered 2 months of dailies but i only received one month. the doctor was great but the staff was just terrible. it’s a shame my prescription hasn’t changed in 3 years and i still have to get an exam, let alone deal with this on top of it.

I was 5 minutes late for an appointment and was told I now needed to reschedule and not only that but my next appointment would have to be teledoc which she informed me would take an hour. Are you kidding me?!?! Never going here again. Absolutely ridiculous. Hope you got your lunch break on time because you just lost a life long customer.

I was very surprised by the lack of sanitation at this location. The lab tech had me use three different machines, hold a notebook sized visual and put on glasses, during the pre-exam before I even saw the Dr. Once I was done I watched two other customers go through the same routine with zero sanitizing between uses. Even in non-pandemic times that would be concerning, as we were each directed to rest our chins, foreheads, faces against several contact points. With COVID there should be extra sanitizing protocol but I didnt see anything wiped down during the 1/2 hr I waited for my eye exam. If you have to go to this location make sure to wipe everything down before touching because the staff definitely isnt.The only positive part of my visit was seeing Dr Masood. She was fantastic- friendly, helpful, funny and made sure all my questions were answered. Its too bad the rest of the process was so unsanitary; Id avoid this spot if possible.

I had an unfortunate experience of rude employees, lack of courtesy and they didn’t offer a time to reschedule after I was two minutes late to my appointment. It was my fault for being two minutes late coming from work, but common courtesy would have been nice.

Worst costumer service, rude employee’s, they double booked our appointment and we got there and they said that they need to reschedule our appointment.I told the lady that it was not my problem and she responded back to me “that is not my problem either”They even send me emails and texts to remind me about our appointment. SO Disappointed since it was our first time trying this place.Such a big inconvenience since we waited a long time for this appointment. NEVER AGAIN!!!

My experience with the staff was excellent. Scott in the lab was very helpful and informative regarding my lens request. From a customer satisfaction perspective, the process to obtain new glasses quickly (2 orders for custom lenses) would be 6 stars.

Recently I decided to get new lenses on my older ray van frames and brought it in to this location. There was a very small fracture on frame, had been glued together, not very noticeable at all, and which I would of probably missed it if it wasn’t pointed out by one of the representatives.They told me I could get it replace, they did not have that model their but let me choose any in their catalog. Excellent service. I appreciate their honesty and professionalism. Will be back next year.

I recently picked up a pair of glasses and I had to wait 20 minutes just to pick up my glasses. The salesperson took several calls while I was waiting and handled other in-person customers before me. She knew all I had to do was pick up my glasses, an interaction that took less than 2 minutes, and I still had to wait 20 minutes for that to happen. I understand the location was short-staffed, but since my need was so short I should have been handled a lot sooner than I was. She also didnt offer me any fitting or cleaning supplies like she did other customers. I would really appreciate it if the customer service practices at this location were reviewed and revised.

This is the best place for an eye exam and glasses for so many reasons. No appointment was needed, walked right in at my convenience. Dr Vesic was awesome, he fully answered all my questions, was so pleasant and competent, and thanks to his great eye exam I see perfect with my new glasses. My dreaded and usually long task of selecting frames was delightfully and surprisingly quick and easy thanks to the phenomenal associate Ben. It amazed me how quickly he was able to find me the most perfect frames. He knew exactly the shape and style to nicely fit my face. His patience and talent to envision details made selecting my frames easy, and thanks to his compassion and dedication I was happy to be out in record time. In the past I’ve found their follow up care for any issues is above and beyond what I’d ever expect. Thanks guys! My family and I will continue to be loyal customers and never go anywhere else, they’re perfection.

Seems like a decent price I got an appointment right away in the doctor was very knowledgeable and informative. However they have somebody on their second day answering the phone and she literally had you put me on hold every 10 seconds for 5 minutes before finally handing me off to somebody who knew what they were talking about that could help me.

After having a poor experience at another location this locations staff took great care to fix the problems caused by other people and to care for our family going forward. We would recommend this location. It is not ideal to go to the mall when you dont have to but worth the customer service.

Feel like they have lost more than just a step over the last few years. There is almost a shaming going on when you do not want certain options. There is this older lady who seems to be annoyed when my daughter asks a question or needs her glasses adjusted. I rather go to 108th and national to get way better service.

The staff is very irresponsible and rude with customer. I have ordered my lens 3 weeks ago but never received any call from them to let me know that lens are arrived. When I called to know when can I come in to get my lens fitted to my frame, the lady was very rude and didnt want to check for me as she was busy. Also I asked for the timing when lab technician will be available, she put me on hold and didnt tell me the information that I needed.If you guys cant handle customer properly so please dont take extra customers.I will not recommend this store and will avoid this store for my future purchase.

I have purchased about four different pairs of glasses from this place over the last decade and have been very happy with that end of the business. I do not agree with the one star ratings for this business based on the purchase of corrective lens of any type. However, the doctor on staff is a joke. If you are going here for reliable eye care from the on staff doctor, you would get better treatment out of a van on the street. Go to any real doctor and then come here for your glasses or contacts.

I had to reschedule due to an issue with insurance and it not being updated right away after the first of the year, but had all the information, even MY marketplace with a code to verify payment, and was told, that I would have to either pay or reschedule. The lady was rude both times I went in. I was never contacted when my trial pair came in OR my glasses once I finally was able to order them, I called and would just get put on hold. Nevermind the fact, that when I did go to pick out new glasses, I was originally told, that I only had coverage for the frames, UM NO! I have to go back again to get the glasses adjusted as they keep sliding down my face. The 3 stars are because, the one gentleman who helped me finally order my glasses also let me try the new Acuvu transition lenses, which I hope to now have added as my eyes have a hard time with bright light. I also, do not understand how, if my insurance is paying for XYZ on my glasses and I am paying for my contacts etc. why, I do not get the 2nd pair free? Interesting. Also, why I had to wait 2 plus weeks for my glasses, when other people seem to get them next day. The whole process has been frustrating. Hopefully, going forward it will be better.

I’ve been to this location for the past 2 years, I’ve purchased 4 pairs of glasses all from the same associate, which was Jackie. She takes care of me every time, quickly and efficiently. They usually have that great BOGO promotion that is great if you don’t have any insurance. Jackie is also bilingual so if you don’t speak English, that’s definitely a bonus!

I went in with a pair of RayBans in which a screw had come out. Even though I did not purchase the sunglasses at Visionworks, they were able to replace the screw and fix my RayBans free of charge. The staff was very polite and kind. If I ever need glasses or eye care, I will go back.

Took my glasses in yesterday because there is a big mark on the left lens which keeps getting bigger. They said it was in between the lens and I must have done something to damage them. I did not, have owned many pairs from here and it seems like they are losing business and making these glasses cheaper and cheaper. I wanted this corrected and fixed even if it was the one lens and they basically said it was my fault. I told them I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I have a picture but dont know how to upload.

By far one of the worst places I have been lately for customer service. We walked in and started to look at frames. My plan for the day was to buy a new pair of glasses. They seemed to have staff but they where all busy. NOT one person addressed us the entire 45 min we where there. I found 3 frames I liked. Sat down at an empty desk and NO ONE came to help us. The place was deserted of staff by this point. I finally wrote down the numbers of the frames I liked, left them sit at the desk and we walked out. What happened to customer service??

Ive been going to visionworks for years (though this one is newer to me) and everyone was so wonderful! Blistering cold and with a nosepad that had come off, they were able to replace it quickly & easily, without a charge (and, cleaned my rather dirty glasses.) Everyone had such a wonderful attitude, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful! George (I believe his name was? if not, im so sorry!) was very personable, but not pushy- great for sales! If I can figure out my vision insurance, this will most likely be where I get my glasses! Thank you everyone again!

It was a very bad experience in this store. Scheduling is a nightmar. They dont care when they screw up your appointment. Sorry, we will make this right for you is something you dont hear there. They never called when they have our glasses ready. No body care. We are a family of four; this was our first time there. It will be the last time also

This is by FAR the worst eye place EVER. I got an eye exam, and a trial pair of contacts, they told me to come back in a week to see how they fit my eye. I come back only to have them tell me that the doctor doesnt like how they fit me. I HAVE HAD CONTACTS FOR 8 YEARS THEY WERE FINE. So he gave me another trial pair with orders to return in another week. I do, and they FINALLY release me MY prescription to order contacts... only to find out that I can ONLY ORDER the NEW Bausch and Lomb Ultras, the newest and most expensive contacts on the market. That, by the way you can only ORDER FROM VISION WORKS!!!DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

They must understand that there are people like me who understand little English and provide good service.
