This store has the best employees. Everyone is so friendly and kind. They say hello and look like they actually enjoy their jobs. I dropped some cherry tomatoes on the floor and as I went to pick them up an employee stopped me and told me not to worry about it and just get a new box while he cleaned up the mess. It’s so true that one little act of kindness like that sticks in your mind for a long time!The sushi is the best grocery store sushi I’ve had and the deli has a wide variety of meats and cheeses

A very friendly and super clean place to shop. The food is always fresh and beautifully displayed. It is also very child friendly, with miniature shopping carts and even free coloring pages for little ones.

Publix is overall a great place to shop and the deli is definitely in top of things . Very well kept and clean. The pharmacy could use some more knowledgeable people.

This is a good place to shop most of the time. This time the woman at the bakery counter was very rude, hardly helped at all,and did not answer my direct question. I almost called a manager. I did leave the store without a purchase.

Extra friendly people. The pharmacy works better than anyone I know to help you pay the least possible or free on some prescriptions.Always ready to help with special orders if possible. Even if it is something they do not normally carry in this area.Quality meat and vegetables.Publix carries items not available other places.But I will say compare prices to ingles.

Though it may be true that I have criticized some Publix policies in the past I MUST praise this place for what they are doing. They are giving out antibiotics with a prescription free of charge with no insurance. Wow!

I’m a native of South Florida and I grew up on Publix. I worked there in high school and know how spotless the place is, even in the back room.

Lots of items you cant find everywhere in Greeneville, TN can be found here. While they may seem to appeal to those with a few more dollars, they treat everyone well and theyre presentation and variety of vegetables and baked goods is terrific. They also have a good pharmacy that will prepare things while you shop.

Everything is easy to find, and the workers there are very helpful and friendly. The store is huge and has a large variety of items competitively priced.

Publix never fails to meet my expectations. Its a great place to shop. And, the stores are always clean. On this trip every employee I encountered asked if I needed help or was finding everything I needed. This is one of the many reasons why I enjoy shopping at Publix. In fact I did need help finding a cereal bar my kids wanted and it took the employee no time to look it up and WALK me to where it was located. I appreciate it because most other stores would only point you in the general area. Publix has top notch customer service.

As a native Floridian I have high expectations for a Publix experience, and I’ve been repeatedly disappointed by the poor attitude of these employees. I enjoy the quality of food here, but part of the reason I choose to shop at Publix is the typically excellent customer experience and this location unfortunately falls short.

All the employees are friendly and helpful. Their prices are very competitive. I mean...Its PUBLIX ! Cmon people ! Shopping truly is a pleasure there !

We arent from greeneville but happened to be in the area and needed a couple things, so we stopped in. I believe we are going to start coming here for all of our grocery needs! The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the selection is better than any we have in our town. They had someone sanitizing carts as we came in, a guy stocking walked past us and said hello and asked if we needed anything, a manger came and stocked our groceries after the regular bagger walked an elderly lady to her car... just a really impressive and positive shopping experience.

Nice place, friendly staff but alittle pricey

Had to pick up a prescription. I was told they were getting it right now and she walked off and started talking to her coworkers. After waiting 20 minutes, another lady walked up and asked for my information and picked up my bag right from where the first girl was standing. (No one had come by to put that bag there) After spending my entire day at doctor offices, the last thing I wanted to do was wait 20 more minutes for something that would have taken 1 minute to do because she wanted to talk instead of help me out. Very poor service

This is one of my favorite grocery stores. Its clean, easy to navigate and the staff is always really friendly and helpful.

Busy this afternoon. Some customers dont have enough sense to cover their nose with their mask. I just try to stay away from them. Some buy one get one specials align with my shopping list each time which is good.

I was so glad when Publix came to town. I am sure it was the result of the million requests I personally sent them to come to east TN.However, now that many of the transplant employees have left the building for Johnson City and out of state stores, things are not so peachy.For example, I frequently buy Publix bakery cakes, described on their website as decadent desserts. and special edition cakes. The last two cakes I have purchased here have been so disappointing. The taste was great, the presentation was not. I waited while they fixed the first one, a hummingbird cake that looked like a third grader had been playing in the icing. The finished photo is below. Imagine it with just the pink words and a thin pink line around just the bottom of the cake. Thanks to the two ladies who saved this cake for me. That very day, and afraid of adding any writing or color, I ordered another of the same cake, a smaller round one. Another disappointment. The top was just as plain as could be, looking nothing like the on-line version. The smaller cake was sloppily stacked and both cakes were thinly iced on the sides with cake peeking through.Get it together Publix. Hire someone who can decorate a cake.I have been shopping with Publix since 1984. Never have I been so consistently disappointed than in the last few months visiting the Greeneville, TN store.Fryers broken -- so no hot-deli favorites. Side-dishes on the hot bar empty long before dinnertime and NO PLANS to make more.Even when there is not a long line at the deli, there is a really long wait.Left without buying seafood several visits in a row because no one was behind the counter for the entire hour-plus I was in the store.And finally, please tell your employees to quit griping about their jobs, managers, and co-workers in front of customers. So unprofessional.I like Publix when shopping is a pleasure, it just hasnt been lately. I once bragged on the Publix shopping experience, especially the customer service, and actually looked forward to visiting the store. My former review was almost a Publix commercial, glowing and gushing about how great it was. I hope it will be again. I will update this review when my shopping experience at the Fairgrounds store improves.

Im giving it only 3 stars because of the Deli area. The way they have it set up makes you have to almost Yell just to try and order a sandwich. The people who work in this area arent friendly. Ive actually given up and walked away from the counter before because it was so frustrating.

We have been shopping at Publix in Greeneville ever since they opened. Every associate in the store is friendly and helpful. They are so accommodating to our family of 5 when we all are in the store. They have given stickers, balloons, and crayons with coloring pages to my kids so many times! Recently, I took my mother-in-law for her first time and she absolutely loved it. She was so happy with staff and cleanliness of the store. Thanks Publix!!

Great place to shop. I am able to find specialty products that I cant find at other stores. Just recently purchased a birthday cake for my wife there. She said it was the best cake she had ever put in her mouth. It is just a really great place to shop, so if you havent checked out Publix yet, you need run by and give them a try..

This store is the Chik Fil A of grocery stores. Today was my first time going in and I was greeted by 3 different employees. One employee even saw me looking around and told me where the stuff I was looking for was. You have OCD? No worries because every shelf was organized and hella flush. 10/10, would recommend.
