My mother just left this store and the man on duty just gave her a hard time over having some important papers printed. He gave her the run around cause he didnt feel like doing his job. Told her the only way to pay was with credit!! Absolutely horrible customer service!!
I will only purchase products I cannot wait to have! This is the worst managed office supply store I have ever tried to deal with. There is only one man that seems to have any ability to think and is constantly busy and working. On Wednesday I was told the truck has made deliveries and items would be out next week. I specifically said what items i was looking for. I returned the next Tuesday, and was told that no stocking had been done.
Very good place to shop.
I bought a computer from Amazon. Had all kind of problems. There was no port that matched the cord they sent me. I went to several places and no one could help me. When I went to staples KIM in Greeneville TN was so patient and was determined to find a solution for me. She worked with me for awhile and finally found a solution. I so appreciate her. She was amazing. I’m 70 years old and ignorant to computers. Thank you Kim! I will not forget you. May God put many blessings on you. ☺️
I had a bad experience with them well 1 worker just would not help to save his sole. Very rude but quality of the work was great.
I showed 15 minutes before the store was to close. There were three employees to one customer. I need help copying some documents. I suggested I might want to bind these documents with combs. I think thats what they are called. I suggested I would come back tomorrow, but copy my project right now. The young man I talked with made it very clear he did not want my business the next day. He would not have time for the inconvenience. It might take to long. It was very obvious they were counting the clock to closing. Where is the customer appreciation.
Recently bought a laptop which I will be returning I told the representative at the store the needs for the computer from which I need to work from home he told me this Lenovo laptop would be great I asked him about an ethernet cable because I need to have it hardwired to my Wi-Fi box 0 no worries we’ll get you taken care of it’s in the box is included I live 45 minutes away I went back wants to buy an adapter I was sold the wrong adapter got home figured that out how to drive back sold me another one did not work come to find out I had to have a special ethernet cable to go with the special adapter so now we’re at my fourth visit within a few days I ended up bringing the laptop back to return it the store manager was available and was able to help me figure out the issues after a couple updates after getting home it worked I didn’t turn the camera on and it’s like it’s stuck in a gray scale I tried reaching out to tech-support and calling the store I’ve even researched on Google and I think I’m a pretty text savvy person but after reading the reviews the camera stuck on grayscale there’s a known issue with his friend I called the store they give me a general information such as it should be under settings I go under there the mail that I spoke to was helpful trying to walk me through but then said let me get a tech supervisor the young lady gets on the phone and just suggested I bring it back in . I’m about 45 minutes away from the store so I asked about the return policy she was sort of hesitant to give me the information but they tell me it’s 14 I ended the call with I will just bring the laptop back and get my money back Hell I might be able to even go to Walmart and pay even less but I thought buying from Staples any tech questions you have when you pay for the service or by the computer everything would be answer for you that is not the case because of the negligence of miss information I’ve made four trips to the store that were unnecessary and spend an extra $92 on adapters and cords for that price I should’ve just been able to buy a computer that has everything
I thought Id give my thoughts to this Staples after reading some of the reviews. Ive shopped many places and at different staples. This one needs a little work on the interior, but thats not the employees fault. In the printing department, it depends on who is working and if they feel like helping. There is a bigger guy who will ask me from behind a computer what I need. then point to the self serve. Im sure if I had a difficult request he would help. but I little help would be nice. I am not the most tech savy person. I came in with a fax 2 seperate times. The first time he pointed to the self serve and said its easy and to figure it out. The second time a woman who doesnt even work in that area she is in computers stood with me and helped me fax.In the computer department the woman who helped me fax is great. she is knowledgable, runs around the store trying to help everyone i saw from standing in line, if she doesnt know the answer she will find out for you. I brought my computer in because it was getting slower and slower. the computer woman turned on my computer did something, scanned it said it would be a good idea to fix it, since it wasnt a year old. She laughed and joked about things, she involved you in the conversation and explained it in words even I understood what was going on and going to happen.in the pen and binder department they are good if you can find someone. one lady there stands out she is always fixing the displays. she knows where everything is and if not, she will look it up.I gave them a 5 star review because you are not going to be perfect all the time, but standing and shopping there you see some of them try, and some of them not as much. Usually if something is wrong, they try to fix it or help you.
I wasnt in the store 15 min and 3 very friendly associates asked me if they could help. They actually noticed I was there! But they werent pushy either.
Brad was able to help me pull one of my old receipts that after i spent hours on the phone with customer services couldnt find. He is incredible speedy and beyond friendly!
Merely wanted ONE specialty 11x14 copy-- that I had already stopped by to see what I needed to bring/do three days earlier. Today, 2 male employees were at a machine, one seemed to be working, other one munching on something. I was not greeted, was not told be with you shortly; instead guy munching walked off, leaving me still standing, waiting for customer assistance. Minutes later, still unattended, I left to go to another printer. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.
I have the most demanding copies as anyone. Detailed aircraft portions suitable for reproductions. The Staff is beyond reproach and Matt runs a very tight ship.........Staples is my second home.
Staples is always a good choice for office supplies. This location offers a decent variety of supplies. The staff is always friendly and helpful, as they usually are at Staples, but more than usual at this location.
In store service is pretty good. However, their local delivery service is terrible. I have received damaged products every time I have ordered from them. Delivery guy cannot show up during normal business hours. Tries to deliver during lunch or 6:00 pm. Business hours are listed on the door, he/she should try reading them!
Quinton and Kathryn (and the evening manager whose name I didnt catch) did an awesome job helping me out on my last minute project. I didnt really know what I wanted but they took care of it and reprinted part of it when something went wrong. Good people!
This place is expensive! Dont know how it stays in business! Only good thing is the copy/fax feature!
Very disappointed that I couldnt get a micro USB to hdmi converter. Asked about it and they tried selling me a simple USB cable.
Looking for a usb c to displayport or hdmi cable and found it here. Staff are always super nice. They have a good selection of office chairs here if youre picky like me and want to test before you buy.
Very pleasent people. Great customer service 👍
They never offer to help taking things to your car. Some employees give the feeling to you that your lucky to have them.
They took care of me quickly with excellent service.
Love staples go all the time lol
Have a good selection of basic items, but dont have some of the nicer stuff found at other Staples. Still a really good store.
Got to Greeneville and realized the printer had completely messed up the leaflets for the funeral service. Renee at Staples was so patient and helpful to me, I was frantic! Thank you Staples of Greeneville!
Very helpful and I will recommend to anyone
Staples is in a nice shopping center with a Big Lots and clothing store. On the Greeneville by-pass .
Very helpful excellent customer service
Has the best prices on lap tops
Staff helped me find what I needed. Good selection and good sale prices on office supplies.
Terribly poor telecommunications. At least a human being answers the phone when you call Wal-Mart. Ive been placed on hold 4 times now in excess of 10 minutes. Id say theyre understaffed. When you have a business to run with a crew who reports to you on things to do, timing is everything. Ive had to hang up now 4 times to conduct normal business here due to being placed on hold repetitively.
Love the self serve printing!
Great place for office supplies.
