Tucked away in Greenfield, only minutes from Rt 91 the Textile Company has been supplying the valley with cloth & sewing supplies for decades. The building is old with wood floors & very clean & organized. So many colors of fabric, thread, ribbon & floss. Fat quarters, books for inspiration, fleece & storybook panels are all for your purchase. This is my go to store always for sewing. When friends are in the area they enjoy browsing. They always think of a project & buy an assortment of fabrics. A happy place for sewing supplies.

Anyone looking for the type of fabric store that has a wonderful selection of fabrics with a friendly and very helpful staff should go to the Textile Company for their sewing needs. I absolutely love walking into the store because my creative mind immediately kicks in while walking around. Anyone who loves sewing and wants to get back into it should visit this unique fabric store. If I could give it more stars I absolutely would do that. You have to experience it to understand what I mean!

This was my 1st time there so I was ecstatic about the the fabric choices! SO many beautiful prints and laid out by colors and styles. They also had zippers, buttons, patterns, books, cross stitch and a small amount of sewing supplies.

I have been going here for years to buy fabric. They have a good selection of batiks and a great selection of civil war/ traditional fabrics. The staff had always been very friendly and knowledgeable and I enjoy chatting with them while they cut my fabric selections. They also have a really good selection of quilting books and patterns. They do only take cash or check. There prices are about average and on par with other fabric stores in Western Massachusetts.

This fabric shop was amazing! My mom and I will drive just about anywhere to find fabric. This shop is a little over 200 miles from out house. It was well worth the drive. The selection here is fabulous. They have fabrics that I have never seen at any other shop. You can choose from novelty, geometrics, solids, holiday, kids, and the list goes on. The staff was extremely friendly and they were very helpful. We loved the old building and the history behind it. This is a one-stop-shop for all your textile needs kids it is in a old factory building and it has almost every single type of fabric and curtains denim etc etc etc any type of design and style textile you need to make a quilt or make your own clothing

I am 16 and I just started working at the Textile and I absolutely love it there! Everyone was really nice while training me. Its like a big family :)

Please update your summer hours online. I was super excited to have time to come to your shop today and you can imagine my frustration when i showed up and you are closed on Mondays. I love the shop but that was very aggravating.

They insist on ripping beautiful fabric s even when you ask them not to. Its a shame, it destroys the fabric.

Poor service, both in person and on the phone. If you arent over age 65 you will be treated poorly. They refuse to answer questions over the phone, if you can even get them to pick up. In person everything is over priced, and the staff has been rude. I gave them 5 chances, and they obviously dont want me to use them as a vendor for my business. Go elsewhere.

Being a local I knew of the store but have never been. I recently bought a camper and it needed some canvas repair, I could not find a needle thick enough or strong enough to stitch it. I thought of the textile store hoping to find a mircle......the lady who helped me was wonderful. I told her my delema, and she came back with a hand stitching tool that was used like for ever ago for saddles and other things. She went so far as to show me how to use it and we even did some stiches on some material I also needed for the corners. This tool worked like a champ....and the price was great, I was so happy I didnt have to send it out to be done professionally$$$ The best part was the lady who helped me, she was so happy to help find a solution to my problem....was a great experience....Thankyou so much!!
