2 Star based on selection alone. Other than that I would give 1. I called to make sure they had the bike in stock I wanted which they did. I told the person I wasnt sure if I wanted to finance the bike or not but I would put in a credit application. I received a text message 2 days later saying I would need a cosigner. I expected to hear something back from the sales person but no call ever came. On day 4 of waiting I went to SRS and paid cash.
Never again! Who in theyre right mind would have the old grumpy guy with the beard at the front service desk.. They need to hide him.. I have been here multiple times and have never had a great experience here but this will be the last. I dont need to be ignored when I come in, I certainly dont need shoddy work and service either. I run my own business and this guy would be gone if he worked for me. Who ever the manager is... they need to wake up! Ill never buy a bike or go there for service or parts
What they do should be illegal under consumer protection laws. I asked about a T700 and they left me a message on the phone say We have great news, call us. When I called back they told me they actually did not have any news and started their sales pitch for ordering one and pitched a different Bike. 101 of shady sales tactics.
My husband and I were in the market for a motorcycle and decided to visit Kevin Powell Motorsports in Greensboro. We had the best experience from the moment we walked in the door. We immediately received a genuinely warm greeting from Samantha. She helped us find what we were looking for and answered all of our questions. She was professional and helped us through the entire process. In fact all who helped us were very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Within an hour we were walking out proud owners of a new motorcycle. We came back the following day to pick it up and they made us feel like family. They helped with loading the bike and tying it to our trailer....Samantha even cleaned and polished it! Claim to have the best financing applied never heard anything from them. Finally talked to someone and they told me it got attached to an old application and they would update someone would contact me shortly. A week later got a letter saying they couldn’t finance me. So instead went to Down Home Harley saw Pokey Man got financed and bought a new street glide. Don’t waste your time here go to Harley they will take care of you even though Kevin claims to say yes🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Customer service was the worst I have ever had in my life. DO NOT TAKE YOUR STUFF HERE TO GET WORKED ON. OR BUY. they don’t communicate and they are very rude. Service manager was very rude. I will never com back here. Took them a month to clean a carburetor.
Dishonest and Unethical Business Operator.Dear Mr. Powell, the obnoxious bearded fella claiming to be THE owner is doing your name a serious disservice.I own and operate multiple businesses, including a consulting firm. Best case- this guy is going to RUIN your name and reputation. Worst and likely case- he is going run your business into the ground.The staff is embarrassed to work for him, they witnessed him go back on his word after the deal was done and cash was paid- all over $400! One would love to think your word, your name and your reputation was worth more than $400.Buyer Beware: Get everything in writing and witnessed by a second person just to be in the clear.Just a shame.Staff was fine- they did nothing wrong. They were sympathetic to the misfortune of the owners poor business ethics and sincerely embarrassed by his actions.
I found a new bike on their website advertised for $7,499. I called in to the dealership to get an out the door price and said that I could come out to purchase the bike. The receptionist took down my information and said they would have someone follow up. A little while later I was emailed a Buyers Order for the bike for the total of $9,500.01, showing the purchase price for the bike to be $8,450.00 + fees (I am completely okay with the fees and they were expected) This price was quite a bit different than the $7,499 they are advertising. When I called back to speak to the salesmen, he gave me a few lines about prep fees (which were an additional line item and had no affect on the jump from 7,499 to 8,450) after a few back and fourths I asked to speak to the sales manager. I was hoping he could help me make sense of this. When I asked him about the price difference, he stated that they were trying to sell the bike and were advertising it low to attract attention and that he could not sell it for that price without losing money.I had full intentions to drive out and purchase the bike as advertised + fees however it seems this dealer had no intent of selling at their advertised price. (There were no incentives that I did not qualify for or anything of that sorts that would cause the price jump) See pictures.I would advise anyone that you save your time and go see a reputable dealer.

My Chinese scooter rear tire caught a flat, I brought my new tire and rim to these guys and they mounted it for me with no problem.

Called to inquire if my parts ordered had come in and was put on hold to check and see. Guy gets back on phone and states it shows received but he cannot locate to give him a minute to put hands on part. Ok no problem....well after holding for 27 min I guess he said the heck with it. I have been doing business with this location for some time and every year the customer service gets worse and worse. Dont ever expect a call when parts arrive or a call back in a timely manner. 🤷♂️
Was very glad I visited Kevin Powell Motorsports before making a purchase. Their staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in making a decision. Unlike other dealers I had spoken to they were willing to work with me on the price which ended up being much better than their competition. Other dealers basically quoted a price and it was take it or leave it. Then to top it off they delivered it to my house. Very happy with my new Suzuki 750 King quad, the deal and the professional service. Make sure you shop here before you buy.

Claims to take the person in consideration not just credit score. Well I work 40 hours a week and make 25 per hour. My bills are low. I can afford a car payment of about 700 a month. My credit score is low due to er visits with asthma and no insurance. Was denied a loan. But its ok. Bpught else where. And paid off already. Your loss their gain.

You all have heard Kevin Powells Commercial about he didnt care about your credit if you have $500 to put down, WELL WORK WITH you.Will thats bull. My credit was damaged due to a break up. And i lost my job of 19 years not long after break up. Took 4 years 3 months for me to get granted Disability. I couldnt work due to getting hurt, but now i have things together.I went to Powells in October 2020, had $900 in cash with me.Well, he did lie. I filled out a credit app. Was told there computer was down anf to come back in a few days.Well, something didnt feel right so i just kinda sit it out for 2 weeks. Toward the 2 weeks i got a letter in the mail. It was Powell. It said, we are sorrg we can not loan to you at this time.Well here it is 3 months later, i have$1900 for downpayment, and my score is up to 631.I hate Liers. I dont trust people like that.

Paid cash for a KTM. Gave salesman all info, including proof of insurance. Even on our receipt. 3 months later still no tag or title. Kept getting runaround when calling. Blamed it on the “government”. Finally talked to someone and the paperwork still sitting on desk. Salesman lost insurance information but couldn’t call. Poor sloppy business.
Dropped off a motorcycle for 18 days that had been overheating. After 18 days I called and they said they would check on it and return my call. Didnt happen. I had to call back. They then told me they hadnt gotten to it. 4 more days go by and they said it was fine. No problems. I picked it up and paid for a half hour labor. Got home and rode bike under 2 miles and it overheated. They are supposed to be trusted professionals. Wasted a month of my time. They did return my money but lost much more in dealing with them. Not pleased at all and will never return. Best of luck if you need service here.

THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CREDIT! 4 HARD INQUIRES FOR 1 ATV! I gave permission to run my credit once (1) as a cosigner for an ATV. They ran it four (4) times, including through their auto dealer (to try to sell me a car instead) and through even a CREDIT CARD without my knowledge! I was intended to be a cosigner through a BANK and Kevin Powell tried to sell me a car instead of an ATV then tried to make me get a credit card! The fact my credit would be hit with 4 hard inquiries as a result of 1 request should be clearly disclosed to all and it was not to me by the salesman I talked to on the phone (and I couldnt care less if he told my spouse, the sales man should have known that legally, he needs to tell ME himself as well!)
Needed a roof last minute for our razor since Memorial Day weekend didn’t look promising with the weather. We were already in West VA, had friends coming from NC. After figuring out our friends pass right by the Winston Salem location instead of Greensboro location, the guys here did everything they could to deliver the roof to Winston Salem the same day, few hours after we purchased it. We now have our roof! 🙌🏻
I was highly recommended to go to Kevin Powell Motorsports in Greensboro when I took my four-wheeler I was told before we do any work to it we will call you and let you know whats the damage and what its going to cost they never not once called me when I pick my four-wheelers they didnt show me none of my bad parts or show me where they was replaced they lost some of my parts and they said that they ordered them but never called me back so from now on I wont come back

This is a place that you go to if its something you have to go to them for. I would generally avoid them because they can sometimes take longer than estimates. Most of the time they get me out of binds which is why Im leaving an average review. Dont take your stuff there unless its tires fork seals or bottom end rebuilds. Research it and do the small stuff yourself!

Worst customer experience at a dealer. EVER. I originally called in and setup an appointment to purchase a bike, when I got there, the paperwork went smoothly even though the financing rates I had discussed with my salesperson, Joel, was quite a bit different than I we had discussed over the phone before I came. It was about a 2% APR difference, but wasnt big enough to sway me from purchasing the bike after traveling over an hour to come see it. So I got the bike and and the bike has been great so far.Now, fast forward to post-purchase experience. It took me 2 MONTHS to get my valid NC plates after repeated calls to the dealer. So I ended up paying payments and insurance on a bike I couldnt even ride legally because my temp tag expired and the dealer kept forgetting to send me my plates after repeated calls. At the same time, I also requested my owners manual for the bike they never gave me. To this date (3 months later) and 7 phone calls, they keep promising to send me my owners manual and STILL have not sent it. I need to service my bike now and cant do so because I have no owners manual. Great.Bottom Line: These guys will love to sell you a bike just like any dealer, but post-purchase help or care? Non-existent. Would never buy from this dealer again.

Carmine is the man! We went up on a Saturday and this place was hoping! Carmine was working deals left and right. He was on top of things. Always had a minute to make sure we were good without hassling us.. When we decided on what we wanted it was easy peasy. The only hold up was the credit managers they worked hard to find a bank to say yes, however them running numbers took awhile! We rode out on what we wanted with some cash down.. We found some issues with the bike and they were quick to order parts needed and address any concerns we had. Even bought a new helmet and some gloves to make the hour ride home in the rain. All and all Kevin does say yes and Carmine wants to sell you a bike or vehicle. I’m not saying the other sales people aren’t awesome but if you have a choice ask for Carmine.
Brandon was AMAZING! He really went out of his way to help me get into a car same day. I told him how much I had to put down, what I wanted my monthly payments to be, and how I was determined to not leave empty handed and he delivered everything I wanted plus more. This was my first time purchasing a car from a dealership and I appreciate him making this experience and process as easy as possible.
Service and parts guys are really good. Called and they said come on in and had me out of there within thirty minutes. I will be back to this dealer vs the others I had been going to.
Took my ATV on May 20th for what might be water in the gas. It is now jun 2 and still have not heard from the slow service department. When I did call and ask about my ATV on May 28th, I was told 2 service techs where working at the warehouse putting together new equipment for the show room floor. But may ATV is next in line for service. Im not impressed with slow service department. Oh buy the way Im sure the exercise will be convid-19. Just not happy that I have to write this post to get action.

I contacted Brandon 3 weeks ago about finding an XR650L. He said he needed a few days. No call back and so I called again. This time a girl answered and said Brandon was busy. So I explained to her what i was trying to get done. She said Brandon would call. Again no call. So i called Friday and Dave answered. He said he was going to help. I called Saturday to check in and he said dealers dont want to talk on Saturday about transferring bikes. So Tuesday comes still never have received a phone call from Dave or Brandon. I call again. Dave answers and says he is trying to find one. I decided at that point to tell Dave, if getting an XR is too difficult I would talk to him about the Suzuki DRZ400 that was on the showroom floor. Now its Tuesday exactly one week later and I called and a girl answered, I told her what was going on and she said Dave was busy and would call me right back. Guess what no phone call. I would NEVER give this place a penny of my money and i recommend everyone stay away. There are so many other dealers out there. This is by far the worst service I have ever received!!

This is by far the most pleasant experience Ive had purchasing a bike. Tyler, my salesman went above and beyond to make sure my every need was met. The other staff members, managers, and salesman were also fantastic. Tyler even polished and cleaned my bike before I took delivery, then offered a complete walk around of the bike, going over the functions and mechanics of it. 10/10!!
I came here to get a bike that I had my eyes on for awhile, and a lady named Samantha help me get the bike of my dreams for and amazing price and I have little to no credit at all. Lets just say I am extremely happy :)(: I will be sending all of my friends there. Oh yeah and my mother got a $100 for sending there because she also got a bike from there years ago haha.
I bought a 1000 Turbo razor from Samantha and it was absolutely an awesome experience. She took the time to show me several different models and was honest with the good and bad sides of the different machines. I was looking around for a Honda or Suzuki ATV for the family and another dealer came back with their best subprime offer of $3K down and 18% at 42 months! Im not a subprime borrower, so I went to KPMS Greensboro this a.m. and got approved by HONDA with 1/3 of the down payment and 1/2 the interest rate of the previous dealer. They delivered our 2020 Rancher TRX420FA5 to our house this afternoon and we have already enjoyed a couple hours of ride time! Went to sign the loan papers and was told i can not get it because i have no drivers permit. Screw you kevin Powell. Called because I needed brake parts for my four wheeler, I was told with confidence that they had them and they even gave me a price, I drove all the way to Greensboro to find out they didn’t have them. Then I was like well maybe I’ll buy another four wheeler, a guy approached me and asked me if I needed something, which was nice but he was helping someone so he told me to go out back and a sales person would be right with me. After going out back, looking and walking back out the door I wasn’t approached at all. If the annoying ads don’t keep from going the service will. Would give 0 stars if I could.

My wife stopped by to pick up a spark plug for my KTM. Chris (parts counter) was helpful and made sure she got the right one. He even wrote a note to me in case I had questions. Its been a long time since I went there. Ill go more often. Clearly they are working on being Customer oriented.
KKevin Powell gets no stars from me. They kept my motorcycle for two months for a simple repair. Just got bike back to days ago. Found out the horrible assembly job on the way home. Missing 2 out of 4 screws on my back rest on my cruiser. Kick stand not properly put on causing bike to fall over. As I drove down highway, my back passenger seat flew off due to poor service from tech who put bike back together. Handle bar has damage that previously did not exist. At this point I dont know what else they have damaged.I would not recommend anyone to purchase or repair from company unless you dont mind putting your life on the line.not to mention I had to keep calling to check on my ride instead of them calling me to update me on progress after promising to call me back. Its very clear they did not value me as a customer. Again I wouldnt recommend them such lazy /incompetent professionals. If you can even call them that

As a 18 year old first time buyer with no credit I was super nervous to try and get my first car. Samantha approached me and she was so wonderful. Very laid back with a great personality and its nothing like how normal car dealerships are showed to be. The manager, Mike, I believe, came out within 30 minutes telling me I was approved and I would be driving away with my new Honda Civic! Carmine kept us entertained in the meanwhile. Had to drive almost two hours to get to this place but it was totally worth it. The people greeting me there were extremely nice and the salesman, Carmine spent a good long time with me, seeing what I was looking for, and figuring out what models fit my needs and my budget. Despite me not looking to spend a ton of money he never rushed the process or made me feel like he was up-selling me. Definitely a great place with great people working there.
Samantha was so helpful getting my boyfriend and I our New four-wheeler this past week. She was so knowledgeable and friendly it was like talking to someone we have know forever!! We will definitely be back to buy our next vehicle and recommending her to everyone we know.

Just bought a 2013 Victory from here. Carmine Sicca, our salesman, was awesome. He was very helpful, and worked to get us a fair deal. I was happy with our trade value, and final price of the new to us bike.

The ad on radio says 8$ down bad credit,no credit etc... Yet when you fill a app out they tell you,you need 10% or 2000$ . How does it go from 8 to that.. glad I didnt take a trip which would be an hour plus to be told that. Dont know the people there but who ever doing the marketing is promoting false advertisement. People should be held accountable
Tyler Carter is by far the best salesman that they got in that shop. Not only does he know what he is doing but he was kind and helpful he was even funny at times. I will be recommending to my friends to come here for their car wants and needs.
