Normally we love this place, because the manager Phillip Huffman is trustworthy and always so helpful & thorough. He explains any issues w/ our vehicles .Unfortunately, We were told yesterday he was moved to a different location . This news was very disappointing to me and my family . I don’t know if we will continue to go there because being able to trust the person dealing our cars is not something we take lightly. We always knew we could trust Phil’s guidance with our vehicles It’s rare to find these days. Most places rip you off every chance they get so not having that sense of security is very upsetting and definitely makes us reconsider going back.

People there are nice. However, I went for a simple oil change and it took over an hour while I watched. The last 30 minutes of which was my car done… with me waiting for no reason. Upon further inspection, oil was spilled all over the valve-cover, ignition coils, and engine causing a burning smell. Not a huge deal, but sloppy slow work is not what you pay for. Try somewhere else.

Nice clean facility. They did my oil change and tire rotation in a quick time frame.

Friendly, professional, and fast. tested and replaced my battery during my lunch hour. Also topped off my fluids, took passport pictures, made me a fresh pot of coffee and helped me plan my next vacation!

In all, this place is great. When we’ve had issues with any of their service or parts, they are quick to remedy the situation. It is affordable, especially as a AAA member. Recently we brought our car to them after a high quote at a dealership and Amber was incredibly helpful. Her service is unmatched!

Im always so nervous to go to mechanics bc of the run around but Phillip was so great in keeping me informed and doing his best to get me what I needed for a good price with out the haggle. He was super professional and personable. And the guy at the front desk, he was I believe was colt, and was the same way, that took care of each customer like a friend. Great attitude and professionalism. 1000% trust them with my car.

I have been a longtime advocate of AAA and especially appreciate their CarCare service. I have complete trust in them and the way that they conduct their business.After getting my car inspected I received suggestions on things that I could replace on my car to improve its longevity. I have taken my car here a few times. They are pretty good. Prices are good but mainly I like that last time I had my tire go flat after I got a new tire and I brought it back and they looked at it and put air in it and rechecked it just like that, and I didnt have to pay anything. They said nothing was wrong, and it has not went flat again. I will take my car there again.

Last night, while travelling on I-40, we hit something in the road that caused our left front tire to blow apart! After an excellent effort, my wife stopped the car on the side of this major highway. We called AAA and spoke to a very efficient lady who dispatched the Adams technician. He arrived as promised with 40 minutes, and quickly removed the destroyed tire and put our spare on, all within 20 minutes, with cars & trucks whizzing by!Thanks you, AAA, for having great people working to help your members!

I brought car in for fuel leak. They diagnosed it as a fuel pump & locking ring for the pump. I was unable to order the part through them because the cost was absorbent, and they would not order from third party sites direct. The part I was assisted with ordering was incorrect the first time (not the fault of the shop). The 2nd time I was informed that the locking ring wasnt an issue after all and the new one I ordered wouldnt fit anyway so I had to return. I was then told there was a still a slight stall when cranking, but that was temperature related and not to be alarmed. Within 24 hours I had to have to car towed back because it shut off completely and they then told me the fuel pump was indeed bad (not their fault). However, I had to not only return and order a new one, but pay for full labor AGAIN. I was livid because they should have properly tested the vehicle before letting me drive off with it when they noticed the issues with cranking, and/or worked with me on the labor given the circumstance and it not being 24 hours after the repair. I lack confidence in this shop, and will not be using again.

This location was awesome! I hardly ever have good experiences with automotive repairs because someone is always trying to upsell or try to make you fix what isn’t broken - not this AAA location. Two stars only because the staff are polite and courteous. Other than that it seems they have higher prices than a dealer. Plus I paid a ton of money for almost nothing. So, I knew what problems my vehicle has, yet they insisted with that nationwide scam named diagnosis, which theyre practicing it for only $195. Since I had the guts to say theres no need for diagnosis, they said they had to run a second diagnosis, which it was even more expensive. Finally they came up with the estimate for the repairs, an absolutely unacceptable number, so they basically did put back the old parts, and for the labor and that so-called (double) diagnosis, they charged me 700 dollars. Of course, next step will be BBB, because I find unacceptable this situation...

Kimberly our travel agent was great. She helped plan our whole vacation and set up most of our hotel stays. Created trip tics and typed up a day by day itenerary.

Phillip and his team helped me out when I was stranded in Greensboro on a business trip from Charlotte to Raleigh. AAA towed me to the Wendover location where the driver told me I would be taken care of, and he was not wrong! I was greeted with friendly faces. After a diagnostic on my Kia Sorento Phillip pulled me aside and told me I had an Engine failure code on my car. He printed out information for me so I could be educated when I called Kia. There was a recall on my specific make and model. He took me to my car and talked me through what was happening with my engine. The team showed compassion and even tried to help procure a rental for me because I did not live in the location. I felt like I had been a customer for over 20 years. Highly recommend this entire team!

Two cars serviced with one appointment. Tire repaired on one vehicle while we went to run an errand. When we returned, the car was ready. We left the other for State Inspection. We came back when that was completed. Staff there (especially Amber) are very friendly and professional.

They were eager to explain to me all issues with my vehicle. They showed me pictures to make sure I understood all areas of repair and why it was necessary. They kept me informed every step of the way. Very kind and courteous staff.

Do you believe in magic? This is the place then. Seriously, look past the 5 star reviews and read some at the bottom tier. I experienced what others have when after a repair that is more expensive than other garages, your problems are just starting.After the repair, the check engine light was on. Not to worry I was told. Drive it around and it will magically come off. Two mechanics and three weeks later and I’m not back on the road. The repair created a complex problem that AAA wanted $109 starters fee to rectify. They would not have been able to fix the problem because they caused the problem.

Philip was very helpful seeing as I needed tired as well and they cleaned my car and checked my battery which had corrosion on it. Philip gave me advice on what type of oil to use and helped me price tires. If I lived in this state still, Id come back here.

The Service Writer was professional, knowledgable, friendly and honest; this is a tough combination to beat! I dropped off my car hours early for safety reasons, and was told it wouldnt be done until the afternoon, as planned. I was fine with that. Then, they arranged a Lyft Ride home for me, and back again later on to pick up my car. Fantastic perk! My car was actually done earlier than I thought. They were in contact with me for permission to do work before beginning, and stood by the quoted estimate.I am new to the Greensboro area, but Ive been a AAA member for over 30 years, and I, correctly, figured I could trust the company that has always done right by me. If youre leaving your car, expect to talk to at least 4 different people about your car, After you make it through the maze of the phone prompts. To check on your car, you can click the option for car care, but then youll find out, after youve exhausted yourself, that youve been talking to a travel agent that has to transfer you, then youll be put on hold, then youll talk to someone and have to start from the beginning. If youre an anxious female who is so used to being mistreated in this arena, expect to hear a lot of MAAMs. MAAM, MAAM MAAM, even from other women. Expect to be met with impatience. Expect to be disrespected, discredited, devalued, and dismissed. Expect to see a lot of heads shake; expect to see knowing glances between the computer operators. Expect to feel very small, disinteresting. Expect to feel like a nuisance. But Dont complain, because the customer is always wrong, and the workers take care of each other. Dont complain, because ladies dont do that. It wont do any good anyway. FEAR FEAR FEAR. Did I make them mad? Will I make it home? What have I done?

Seriously an awesome team! Initially went here due to an alignment recommendation from Discount Tire and ended up needing a new tire rod. Team was very friendly and made sure to take time and show me unexpected issues with my car. Miranda at the front desk was super helpful. They provided me with a Lyft home and back to their facility whenever I needed to get ready for work too. Great team! Definitely will be recommending for services in the future.

I got AAA for peace of mind when driving my older vehicle, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the car care service. Prompt, friendly service; good explanations of what service is needed and why; fair prices; text updates on progress when I cant stick around to wait for my car; and a clean, comfortable waiting area when I do. I wont take my car anywhere else if it can be serviced at AAA.

The office was very polite to set an appointment at my convenience. Although service was more than I originally expected, I was informed as to the needs and was able to fix it within my time frame. My husband usually changes my oil, but if we need anything he cant handle, we go here. Said husband knows a lot about cars and agrees that they take good care of our cars without pushing unnecessary service. They have gone above and beyond to find me parts that werent in site They send me a report of a complimentary inspection.

Believe it or not but I was the first customer at this location when they first opened. I have been through several ups and downs with this service provider. Ive left and came back when the management changes and, regrettably referred several people to have their cars serviced here. Now, it is at a low point again. In my last three visits with three different vehicles, they have discovered a tire issue that cannot be resolved without a purchase of a new tire. When achieving a second opinion, the other service company has not found that problem. I lack confidence in the integrity of the service advisers and will be taking my vehicles to another provider. AAA Car Care prices are higher(after the members discount) than other service providers with the same warranty on service. Their tire prices are at the point of gouging. Perhaps, there is an issue with AAA, because they have changed their basic membership rules and pushed what we used to have to higher priced levels. Ive researched alternatives and will pursue a change at renewal time. Unfortunately, all great companies lose focus on the one thing that keeps them in business....their customer! AAA Carolinas is not an exception.

This is my 2nd year a member but 1st time using their services. I was totally pleased. Everybody is really nice an professional. An I love how the technicians go over your entire car.. I have taken my cars to your Wendover Greensboro location several times. I will no longer use this business. The staff on auto side are rude and curt. I have a video of one of them. Each time I had an oil change and tire rotation I ended up coming back with more expensive issue. The last time I went, I had an oil change on an older car that I dont drive often. within a day there was a massive power steering leak that I never had a drip before this. within the same week prior to this I had an oil change tire rotated. They told me I needed 2 new tires. They never rotated the tires, the new tires did not go on the worn wheels so now I need 2 more tires and alignment because this car now has a power steering leak. Again within days of taking it to this facility. I spoke to a few people and was told that they have a reputation for creating new issues. It cost me a great deal of money to find this out but it will cost you many customers. Your reputation has been soiled due to the people you have hired. I believe I will also cancel my AAA card after 40 years. This is shameful. The only way to correct this is 1- pay for all my repairs and 2- replace your management and people at this facility with honest people and professional. Where do you go where an agent tells you to come to the counter and then you proceed to wait 20 mins watching her eat slowly, chat with a coworker, make rude comments to me when I ask how much longer will I be waiting. This is not just one person the man once yelled at me on the phone and told me I had to pay for a service that I had already had done at this facility and the manager told me to come back. The Manager is no better - I have seen him watch them eat in front of customers while serving them. You set up an appointment and wait an hour or more for it to be even driven into the garage. My time is obviously not at all important to you. Disgraceful for such an old established company!

I like AAA at Wendover because the staff is friendly. Most importantly they explain exactly what is going on with my car so I can make the best decision . I feel a good sense of security and dont feel they are taking advantage of me especially not knowing much about cars

We have always been pleased with AAA at Wendover. The staff takes care of what is needed, and they genuinely are concerned with fixing your problems! We also like how thorough they are with explanations.

I needed a replacement car battery and based on the experience that we had AAA when my wife needed a car battery I choose go with AAA for my battery. I think AAA has perhaps the best battery warranty in the U.S.

Went in 4 a state inspection. At check in, was told cost was 30$. At check out, in addition to costly recs, an additional tint inspection of 10$ was added. Have other cars, was never charged such n didnt pay. Will find alt service in future

I want to say thank you to Anthony Campos and Miranda Thompson from the bottom of my heart. I took a car I recently purchased to get the tires changed and to do an oil change. While I was there I asked Anthony to do a full inspection as well. I mentioned that I was going to transfer the tile and get a tag. Anthony called me right away and infomed me everything that was wrong with the car. I had a hard time dealing with the car dealer but Anthony and Miranda both got on the phone with me right away and told me exactly what to do. I can not thank them enough for all their help and knowledge. With their help was able to get my money back. Thank you, Thank you!

Felt like I was being qualified as I walked in the door. When I asked to have my AAA car battery inspected, the response was much less than ideal. I was told there was no mechanic available to serve me and I should call the 1800# on my AAA member card for roadside service OR schedule there for auto service sometime next week! You can guess what I ended up doing.

The workers have personality over the phone but they are rude in person. They talk down to customers and try to debate issues.

DO NOT take your vehicle here. They have the WORST customer service (Tony). They will fix your maintenance problem. Then tell you something major is wrong. They OVER CHARGE! When you get your invoice call other places, because they will be cheaper and you should be able to get the price dropped.

I called and spoke with Stephanie. She was extremely helpful and patient while getting me a new policy for my 3 cars. And My rate was much better than it was with Geico!! We ran into a few strange issues but she always had multiple solutions! Ive never had such a great experience obtaining a new policy!

Ive used this location for 6 years of car care. On my most recent visit, I encountered a problem with the business and decided not to reschedule. Less than 30 minutes elapsed before the manager called me with an offer to right the wrong and followed through with it. This tells me they value their customers and want to do whats right. His actions speak volumes, and I would recommend this location and service department to all. Throughout the six years of visits to the Wendover store, this was the only time I ever encountered a problem and swift and attentive measures were taken to remedy the situation. I didnt even initiate a complaint; the manager proactively reached out of his own volition.

Only problem: You need more parking spaces!

I have taken my car to AAA several times and every time they are courteous and very informed about what I need for my car. Their shuttle service is very helpful since I have only 1 car and I rely on it to get to and from work. The shuttle service asures that I do not have to miss work to get my car repaired. The cost is very competitive with other garages I have used. I will continue to make AAA my first choice for car repair issues.

Scott and the mechanics were friendly, helpful, and very fair with pricing. I had 3 lock nut studs shear and they did a fantastic analysis of influenced parts and necessary repairs. Scott walked me through the needed repairs and taught me a bit about the root cause failure, part design, and identification of compromised components.Despite being busy, Scott acknowledged we were traveling for the holidays and was flexible in fitting us into their schedule. Numerous discoverable items (damaged bearings and broken ABS sensor) caused some delay in the repairs but charges werent incurred for the extra work.Would highly recommend if you are traveling and are in a pickle!

I have been a AAA member since 1997. First time I decided to use this car care center. My nephew needed an inspection and they didnt pass it due to tires and a power steering hose. (What a power steering hose has to do with an inspection I do not know) and gave a written quote of $600 +- I went up to prepay for him due to his lack of money and they in turn over double the quote to $1400 because the neglected to put on the first quote a power steering rack ?? again what did that have to due with an inspection? I said OK but was very unhappy with the procedure of doubling the quote out of their neglect the first time. Lo and behold I got another call during the work that it may need a serpentine belt another $89 and 1/2 labor - I said no! just do the work that is quoted and get the inspection done. this will be first and last time I will ever use this Car Care Center and the Corporate Office will be hearing about this. Very disappointed in this Automobile Repair Center. And yes, I have been to some very reputable ones in the past which will be getting my business in the future. Sorry I ever had my nephew to try and use this place even though it was conveniient for him.

I wouldnt take my car to no other auto repair facility. My car that I purchased from DriveTime broke down about four months ago. 3 warranty claims later, I got a new radiator, engine and transmission for my Suzuki Kizashi. Those guys are awesome mechanics. Earl, the manager, took care of me throughout the whole process of getting me back on the road. I experienced excellent customer service and professionalism along with courtesy and friendliness from the entire staff.
