Loved the huge selection of fabrics! Especially the specialty fabrics like the office and harry potter. Not giving 5 stars because the lines were too long to get cut and checked out.

1st time visiting.. The outside of store was filthy with trash spilled all outside of trashcans and all over ground at entrance( not sure if store responsibility or city to clean). Only saw 4 employees in entire store and they were swamped. All employees were super nice.Lady in back at fabric table was super helpful. She stopped assisting her customers to come help me find some leopard print vinyl.

I frequent this location quite often, Ive never encountered an issue UNTIL TODAY. An employee by the name of Vicky, just wasnt customer friendly at all, I visited the store today to do an exchange, I had my receipt (items purchased last weekend). I was exchanging for the same exact items just different size and color. This associate was so unpleasant with me because I purchased them on sale LAST WEEK and expected them to be an even exchange. Vicky had a real issue with that and told me they didnt do that and I needed to pay the higher price. No maam I will not Ive done a couple of exchanges before and never had to do that. In the end Vicky did even exchange them and told me that she WOULD NOT do it again. Just absolutely rude. With that being said that was my last visit to Joann fabrics I will no longer spend my money where it is not appreciated.

Clean and kind place! The shelves are really empty… and I wish they had more ideas for creations like once a month a theme or something to inspire.

I love this store as they have everything and if its not on sale, there is always a coupon for it. But what makes this place the BEST, is their awesome store associates. Always a line to check out... always have to deal with coupons which I hate! I miss Hancock Fabrics where there was plenty of help and the prices were always very reasonable! Jo-Anns has a nice selection of fabric but there is a local fabric store in Climax North Carolina that has just as good a selection and is much cheaper with no coupons to worry about! Check out Jam in Climax North Carolina lots of beautiful quilt fabric! And they are also online.

The store was reasonably stocked, tho I couldnt find the craft item I was looking for. The staff was super helpful and pleasant. They have a great variety of fabrics and remnant cloth.

Came in looking for pipe cleaners. I asked one associate who pointed to one aisle, a second associate who pointed to three different aisles and the whole floral section, and the last employee I could find who didnt know at all. Never did find the pipe cleaners. Ive worked in retail for 10 years. Youre supposed to take the customer to the product not have them run around the whole store.

They had exactly what I needed... a fancy button to match my wifes necklace, but it took another customer to help me find it. The clerk who was helping abandoned me. Also, the cashier could not count money and me giving her 2 extra dollars to get back a 10 sent her into enough confusion that I just took the regular change after giving up on explaining it to her. But that is ok. She is an art student.

I usually wouldnt do this on a regular day but todays incident really bothered me just simply because of the times we are in. With the injustice that goes on and bias along with profiling. Im only calling and speaking on what I saw and heard today. At 3:45pm on 8-27-20 I shop here alot and God knows how many times Ive probably been profiled. But I had a t-shirt and proceeded to the front two registers are going theres a African American young lady in line before me I can see she had a roll of thread and a pack of black buttons mind you she was dressed in work clothes you could tell she worked in a restaurant she paid and walked away i walk up converse with the associate very nice young lady lets be clear very nice and bubbly. While she hit the key so I can run my card she also steps back for those that dont know they wear 2way walkies with a ear pc. And mic. So I assume someone from the back area ask her did the girl in the black pay for the black buttons. She respond while I was standing there she turned to the side I whispered into the mic. Oh yeah the girl in the black paid for the black buttons. I pretended I was focused on my transaction while deep inside I couldnt believe what I just heard her say in front of me. I honestly will never spend another dime in this establishment and from one business owner to the next you might wanna get your associate in order before they open you up for a lawsuit. Cause it took everything in me not to let that young lady know how your establishment was profiling her over a $2 roll of thread and $1.50 buttons. Thats a total waste of resources and time to be on a radio asking did customer pay for certain items. So my thing is what if she didnt pay for it you would have cause a complete scene over $4 worth of items you gotta be more productive than that. Im sure no one will take the time to read it this which is why Im gonna email corporate cause Im pretty sure they wouldnt agree with this behavior.

Please support our local businesses. Glad it was still open. Got a cute gift for a party and posts for broken earrings and other items.

I went looking for a sewing machine but the selection was sparse. The staff wasnt as helpful as they were in the past.

There was a wait which only allowed a small amount of customers to enter the store. Seemed as though it was a very small amount to the size of the store but we understood. Once inside it was clean but had my doubts that the pattern books were virus free. We were prepared knowing that was the case. It will get better.

We visited JOANN Fabrics and Crafts to purchase materials for an outfit. Unfortunately it was last minute so not much time for shopping around.The store has only moderate materials and does not cater to the very diverse community that surrounds this particular location. We were able to get the basics and the better quality materials were simple and basic and not really what we wanted, but we settled since were in a pinch.Customer service was also moderate. We we’re only offered assistance when we asked for it- for cutting fabric and when checking out. Not saying they should be pushy but a simple acknowledgement and a “may I help you?” when encountering a customer on the floor offers a sense of consideration and appreciation for the patronage. IMO.

Wasnt aware that Joanne have different prices in different stores but they advertise One Price I dont think thats fair to the consumer I left one Joannes to go to another store because the other store had the color I needed when I got there the price cost more than the other Joannes I asked why that was the girl just shrugged her shoulders and said thats the way they are if youre going to have different prices in different stores at least advertise that dont have your customers going around looking for product from one location to another location and the prices are different and thats not right Im just saying and when the staff act like they dont care when you ask them questions thats not good either if all the people in the store and you have two people at the front and one person in the back 50 people in the store that doesnt make sense you have all these customers but you dont have enough staff to take care of them and then the prices are different bad news

If your into crafting this is a good place to visit. I go here whenever I want to make something for my daughter. The staff is really helpful in helping me find what I need and providing additional support and advice.

This store had friendly service at both the cutting counter and at checkout. This store was crammed full with lots of fabrics to choose from! We were pleasantly surprised to see seasonal Christmas gifts displayed and ended up buying some for the family at reduced prices. We used the coupons from our Joann Fabric app for even greater savings!

Joann is taking Covid seriously, making everyone wear masks and only allowing a small amount of people in the store at a time. Store still has a good amount of stock, especially mask making supplies. They also sell pre-made fabric masks.

My quick stop for fabric! Their are other fabric stores in town, but I enjoy varied crafts. You should always be prepared with coupons. Lines can be long at cutting counter and checkout, mainly due to customers and staff conversations. You can get a great bundle of dried eucalyptus and other foliage here.

Absolutely worse place to go. The workers there are complete snobs. I have been to upscale places where you expect it and these people at Joannes by far are worse. Remember the movie Pretty Woman where Julia Roberts walks into a shop to get clothes and because she isnt dressed correctly they wont service her even with money. This stores employees are like that. Go to Hobby Lobby off Bridford Parkway in Greensboro - I give them 5 stars.

Do not come here if you are in a rush. I placed an online order to save time but when I arrived I was told to go to the back of the line which was five shoppers deep and stayed that way the whole time I was in line. The cashier eventually called for assistance but they did not show up until after I started checking out. Very frustrating.

The sales associates are very knowledgeable and can help navigate you to anything in the store. I needed to pick up cloth for my mom because I dont sew. They explained the different cloths available and which would be best. Everything worked perfectly for my mom and she is working on her second dress in three days !

Like everywhere else, this place isnt fully stocked but there seems to be more things coming in...just a little slowly. This is one of a very few places here where you can find some sewing supplies.

Currently waiting outside for my curbside pickup . This is supposed to be a fast and smooth transaction but she felt that ringing up the line of customers who have to pay and have their items bagged was more important than bringing me my already paid for items outside...

Great place to go to for ideas, classes, and bundle deals. Aside from that the they are pricey in some areas (I bought paint for $8 here and it was $3 at Walmart) They do offer a lot of coupons 20-60% off so an $8 items could end up being $3-4 if it qualifies... The staff is very knowledgable but I agree with the other reviews, most are snobs.

Love Joannes Ive been going there for 20-25 years as long as its been in Greensboro that I can remember I quilt now a new project and I buy my quilting fabric and things there I love it I love the coupons I love the girls theyre all very sweet and kind and even the gentleman that cuts the fabric at the Greensboro store is the closest one to me I enjoy the store and all the goodies they have and the sales are wonderful Ive been sewing for my grandchildren and my children for years love Joannes.!!!!
