Dr. Peter K. Dunn is a LIFESAVER and his daughter, Dr. Taylor Dunn is just as amazing! He came in on Memorial Day holiday because I had a horrible scratch on my eye! He opened his office just for me and had my eye fixed up and feeling better in no time! What a saint! Thank you so much!! A++

My annual check up with Dr. Peter Dunn revealed I had cataracts and they referred me to a specialist for the procedure. Everything went exactly as everyone explained it should go and my subsequent vision improvement and new lens prescription is fantastic, They nailed the prescription, thank you Doctor Taylor Dunn!, and the whole team was a pleasure to interact with! Love and recommend Family Eye Care!

My entire family has been going to Dr. Dunn since about 1990. We have always had such a wonderful experience. Dr. Dunn is now working with his oldest daughter Dr. Taylor Dunn, who is also amazing! The office is truly a family environment, I could see how proud Dr. Dunn was of his daughter and her accomplishment. Both the doctors and staff have always taken great care of my family and I and Ive never received anything less than their BEST! I would advise anyone looking for a new doctor to go here. Especially during this pandemic, Dr. Dunn and the staff always wore masks and were taking all the precautions needed to protect their patients.

I am dissatisfied with my visit with Dr Dunn. They do not listen to their patients. I declined the digital imaging twice, once in writing & again verbally. They proceeded anyway, so they elected to file with my health insurance causing me to pay double the copay of my vision insurance copay. I questioned the receptionist & requested they file with my vision insurance but she only wanted to explain how THEY do things and once again my voice wasnt heard. I feel they are just looking to get more money from me & the insurance companies. I will not return to their office.

My entire Family goes to Dr.Dunn. A very caring Optometrist.

Everything was great. The doctors were phenomenal. The only suggestion is that there are more than two genders. When filling out paperwork maybe asking a person their SEX. Or just leave it out completely. It can be traumatizing for so many. I am happy to help with editing that part of the paperwork. =)

Love DR.Dunn. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient. Leads you in the right direction. Also the lady who helps with glasses is very polite. However.. receptionist(s) are Curt. And unexpected charges at end of service that “insurance does not cover” (contact fitting) ask about this service before being seen.

Husband and I both had a great experience here. All the staff were really great. Doctor Dunn was fantastic, professional but still made you feel welcome and comfortable while conducting the exam.

Always professional and they keep good records over the year. We could easily compare my current vision and condition of my eyes to 9 years ago. They also found that the last pair of lenses I had made elsewhere were no where near the prescription. All glasses Ive had made at Family Eye Care have worked well.

LOUSY EYE DR. AND STAFF! - CONTACT LENSE NATZIMy appt was March 20, 20. Since the Covid virus had closed everyone down I was unable to make my appointment.The office refused to approve additional contacts until things opened up so O could make an appointment and have my eye exam.Finding a new eye doctor.Very rude staff!Let me add...I needed one (1) contact for a contact I lost at some point.It wasn’t like I asked for an entire set of contacts. Just one (1).Clearly, whomever I spoke to wasn’t a contact wearer, as contacts can easily go missing from time to time...Dr. Fox contacted me personally and asked I rebuke my post. However, after giving thought, I’m not going to.Going to Fox Eye Care.Very polite staff and hassle free. And, they deliver the contacts. Offer trial packs in the event there is any problem.They say you get what you pay for.I’m getting compassionate, professional eye care from Fox Eye Care.Highly suggest them!

Elizabeth was my consultant and didnt make me feel like an old man who couldnt see. She was awesome at helping me get in the right pair of glasses for my fading eyes. I highly recommend Family Eye Care to anyone looking to improve their vision and quality of life. The entire staff is great, but Elizabeth (I think she goes by Liz) went above and beyond.

Excellent, knowledgeable staff. This was my first visit to Dr. Dunns office and I saw Dr. Frye. They are highly equipped with latest technology and did a stellar job at honing in on my vision correction needs. Bridgett, who fit me with my eye wear, was very patient, helpful, fun and knowledgeable. I was given a prescription for multi-focal lenses or readers. My choice. After trying glasses and realizing my nose bridge, face and eye shape were not conducive to multi-focal glasses, we decided to go with readers and a separate pair for distance (driving, etc.). She took a long time with me and never seemed to mind my frustration with not finding a good fit. Her outside of the box thinking saved the day. The entire staff there is friendly and knowledgeable. Its a vibrant and bustling practice and their prices are very reasonable.

It might be because of the re-opening timing with Covid-19 but the wait was very long. I was there for an annual exam and it took a little over 2 hours from going into to the office and getting out of there. Dr. Dunn was rushed and seemed annoyed that I asked questions. I will probably not return unless I can make an appointment with someone else. The office staff is always nice.

Optometrist services were fine in the office, but the *very* expensive eyeglasses I paid for were terrible and are not the correct prescription - my eyes feel strained with them and the view is distorted. Ive worn glasses and corrective lenses for 35 years, so I know when something isnt right. When I contacted the staff they said to try them for a while longer instead of FIXING the issue. Well, I had to travel for work in the weeks following and was too busy after to get back over there (I had the time when I first called, not so much now) - so now Im just stuck with $450+ paperweights instead of a functional pair of glasses. Staff was also very snarky to other customers while I was in getting the initial glasses fitted. Would absolutely not recommend, go someplace with nicer folks at the desk and a staff that cares more about followup service and making sure you have a good, functional pair of eyeglasses that actually help you to see.

Dr. Dunn & Staff have always been pleasant & friendly. They always work with me regarding my Contact Lenses and Vision insurance. Bridgette, the Optician, is very helpful. I find their office clean and organized and my appointment time honored. Thanks!

Every visit to this practice has been a great experience. The ladies up front are kind and helpful, my exams have been thorough but efficient, and they have been patient with me as I ask a million questions during my exams. Love that they have text and email reminders so I do t miss an appointment!

I have been going here for many years, along with my husband and daughter. Dr Dunn is very nice, and the office staff is too! They always take time to answer my questions and help me pick out my glasses. Its actually fun going to see them unlike most doctors! When I had to get bifocals, I had a hard time getting use to them and dr Dunn did another exam at no charge just to make sure the prescription was correct, which it was. The staff worked with me on how to use the progressive lens and after a few weeks of practice I was loving my new glasses!

As always, Dr. Dunn and his staff were courteous, professional and most importantly, on time. No prolonged waiting periods.Dr. Dunn was, as always, very thorough and professional in letting me know the outcome of his examination.The visit is always pleasant and quick.

I will not return to Dr. Dunns office. The office staff is okay, but according to Dr. Dunn, is not knowledgeable about necessary procedures. They didnt tell me when I made my appointment that I might need a dilation. So, when I went for my annual exam and found out Id need to be dilated, thats the first I learned that I wouldnt be able to see to work for an extended period of time. So, I asked if I could come back to do it at a different time. They willingly agreed, but didnt say that they would then charge me a fee of $35 to have it done (Id previously paid my $20 copay!). Dr. Dunn then expressed that it was my choice if I want to risk having an undiscovered brain tumor and that theyd make a medical record of that fact. Interesting, because when I looked up eye dilation at home, I found that in the reasons listed by the Mayo Clinic for having this done, brain tumor was not listed. Why would Dr. Dunn say this unless he hoped this fear tactic would encourage me to go forward with the exam. Ive decided that I can think about it and pay a different doctor this same fee if I decide to have the dilation done. Perhaps I will find someone who is nice, upfront about fees, and not using scare tactics to influence people.

Staff is always very pleasant, helpful, and efficient. The office deal for glasses is great for my tight budget. Dr. Dunn and staff give honest recommendations rather than suggest glasses/contacts upgrades that would cost more money--much appreciated!

This guy is a scam artist! Not sure how he gets good reviews, must be paying them off. He cares more about your money and ripping you off than he does his patients and has trained his staff to be liars as well. Very rude and condescending, will never bring my self or my family for his terrible behavior again. Stay far away from this one!

It was so nice going for a Doctors appointment and not having to wait long! The facility was clean and nicely decorated, the staff were so nice and helpful. Dr. Dunn himself was very professional and I would say my overall experience was very enjoyable!

Amanda was very professional in doing my testing.Dr Dunn came in prompty after that and completed my eye exam.This is a great optometry office. This guy is a salesman at best. If you dont have money to blow on new contacts every 4 days or havent been to the eye doctor once a week, prepare for a guilt trip that travels the world. 1/5949393 would visit again.

Staff and doctor are so nice and inform you of your options every step of the way. We never feel rushed and treated as a wanted patient instead of a number.

Dr. Peter Dunn is extremely rude and unprofessional. He rushed through my appointment and showed very little compassion or care for the reason of my visit. He didnt take any time to actually listen to me as his patient and was very condescending when I asked questions. I will never go back to his practice.

The office staff was friendly when I went in for my appointment this past September (2016). The doctor was ok...I did get slightly frustrated with him. However my biggest pet peeve and reason for not returning is as follows. I ordered my first pair from them because of my insurance coverage. I however have had issues with them and have bubbles all over my classes making it blurry and obnoxious because I can see them. I called to get my prescription to order a 2nd pair online. They sent the prescription with out a PD..... You cant order your glasses without this. I then called back and Sharon at the front desk told me that they dont provide that information. It is done by the optician who I got my glasses from. I then proceeded to tell her that I got my first pair there and was attempting to order online because my others messed up with the bubbles. She said they show you online how to take the PD or I could come in and pay a fee for them to remeasure it. This is absolutely ridiculous. Its a money racket and poor customer service. I told her that I thought it was ridiculous and that I wouldnt come back to them. She said ok have a nice day. So much for customer retention.... -_-
