Guess I won’t be going there, I’ll take my business to Colfax Guns, at least I get greeted and acknowledged.

I was contemplating purchasing a gun there but poor attitude of the salesperson made me decide not to. Acted like it was putting him out to give me a price and then he ignored me. Very poor customer service. Also, the prices are high. Not recommended. My business will go elsewhere.

They acted to busy to bother talking to me. Everything over priced. Felt like I was not welcomed there.

Horrible customer service,and extremely overpriced. I called a week in advance to have some sights swapped on a pistol. It’s a 20 min drive one way. I show up with slide/sights he acts as if he’s the busiest gun shop in the country. It was one guy in the store. I got the feeling he just didn’t want to help me. The others are right this isn’t a place you want to spend your hard earned at. I found a certified gunsmith to swap my sights for me. At a great price. The best way to show him how much we appreciate his business. Is by going else where.

I visited Greensboro Guns & Ammo today, and found exactly what I was searching for! I was buzzed in and greeted rite out the gate by (2)two employees! I looked around for about 10 mins before finding what I wanted! This was a very clean, professional, secure dealer that I plan on visiting more in the future! I had a great experience with these guys. Honest, fair and polite. I comparison shopped every other store within a 20 minute drive of them and none of them compared in service. Nicest gun dealers in Greensboro.

Over the past several years I have purchased several firearms from Greensboro Guns and Ammo, including a few long range competition rifles. The expertise of the owner and store manager is phenomenal! The “after the sale” support has been great as well. I will be going back ASAP!

Horrible experience. People who run this place couldnt care less about their customers. When prices fall again this place will be out of business. Cant treat customers this way and expect to make it through the hard times.

Ive been to several places and four within the Greensboro Area. The service and treatment here was among the best. As a POC I didnt feel like the music stopped (as in old western movies) when I entered as with most places. I wasnt ignored or evil eyeballed but assisted as a paying customer. One place I visited, had the hardware I wanted but I just didnt feel good about spending my hard earned dollar where I was tolerated. Ken Sampson was helpful, full of knowledge and friendly. Looking forward to my next purchase real soon.

First time in this store. Was looking for 9mm ammo. Every other store was sold out and luckily they had some tucked away. Rep was nice and we had a good convo. Shelves seemed in stocked but I would try to visit again.

I hadnt read any of the reviews before I visited and Im glad I didnt. My experience was really good, nothing like some of the other reviews. Although Ken was very busy when we arrived, he still made it a point to be very attentive and helpful. I would definitely go back.

I just moved to NC and i had a Great experience at Greensboro Guns and Ammo. I purchased a weapon on Saturday (10/17) and the buying experience was nothing short of excellence. Owner and wife is very friendly, funny and experienced when it come to having knowledge of different weapons. This will be my place to purchase from here on out.

POC. Seems like this old gentleman is the problem. Once I walked in the old gentleman gave me a bad look. I didn’t pay attention to it but when I asked to see a gun he said if I didn’t have the money or was serious about buying it, he wasn’t going to take it out the glass case. I ended up leaving because I was not about to spend my money at that business. I don’t recommend this place.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone go here. My husband and I are not POC, but weren’t treated very nicely either. Older gentleman seemed bothered me were there and unwilling to help at all. There’s plenty of other options in and around Greensboro that will accept any one and give good service.

POC here my experience with one of the older gentlemen was unsettling. I dident feel comfortable entering the store and once I saw the unpleasant look on his face and the we dont have anything comment was kinda of a slap. I have purchased from here before and the experience was slightly more pleasant but still questionable. I only return because they had a lot of Dig march.

Budget: 10kPreferred manufactures (top 2): Sig Sauer, KalashnikovSeeking: Another Sig P365 SAS as well as a P365XL, Sig M400, Kalashnikov Komrad, and whatever else suits my fancy.Conclusion: Based on reviews it seems Ill be looking elsewhere; I know there are plenty of stores that treat people of color the same as everyone else.

I am writing this review because my experience was quite different from others posted here. I am a POC and happened into this shop this weekend. We were welcomed and helped immediately. In fact the owner joked with me over and over. He was very helpful and gave me some great tips for additional options for my purchase. While there 3 other POC walked in and in my opinion, were treated well. The owner did make note that he had received some really bad reviews and mentioned to all customers present that if we had a good experience, to please write a review. I cant speak on the experience of others but I will say many times bad reviews will cause people to look at themselves and make improvements...if they want to stay in business. So, either they have learned from previous experiences and want to do better or I stopped in on a really good day. If I am consistently treated as I was this time, I would definitely return.

Love this gun store. They are very helpful and they done try to sell you on something you don’t want. Quick. Easy. Enjoyable. This will be the store I shop at period. Hands down best gun store in town.

Straight dealership with a short (600yds) long range. Not a lot of southern charm overburden and good selection of higher quality items.

Havent been treated this poorly in a while. The elderly gentleman behind the counter was clearly bothered by me being in the store, treated me as if I was second class and could not afford to purchase from him. So I left and from my personal experience and reading reviews I would encourage people of color to take your business elsewhere.

Im shocked at the number of negative reviews! Being a person of color, i do not feel the need to enter your store. If youve treated others as described in the reviews, why would i bother? Rude and ignorant person. Walked in near 11:45am, most of the cases were empty, the old guy behind the counter could have cared less that I was there.I asked if they had a particular firearm in stock, he replied, “Nope” and that was it. I didn’t bother asking about anything, I went a different gun store, that happened to be a short drive away, and gave them the money I would have spent here.Don’t waste your time going here, you’ll be thoroughly disappointed.

I walked in and it seemed like an immediate inconvenience for the guy working. he was very rude and short with his answers (also gave me incorrect information about the gun laws in NC, so he’s also not educated). i was taking a look at some of the guns and he’s just staring at me the whole time. a bad vibe in general. some of the worst customer service and it sounds like others have had the same experience and he doesn’t intend on making shopping there any better. i should have known the guy was weird by the “pull your pants up” sign on the front door. a couple other reviews mention the guy is racist. it was my first time there and it will definitely be my last!

If you are a person of color I would recommend you take your business to somewhere else. I was in the store today and witnessed how they treated there white customers. Compared to how I was treated. I had planned on purchasing a Sig AR pistol for around $2000. They didn’t even want to open the case for me to hold it. So I left and went to down the street and ordered it at a better price. They allowed the white customers to take riffles off the back wall that says don’t touch. After reading others reviews it seems like the must treat most people of color the same way.

I had originally went to this location because because they had the Beretta APX line. I was slightly disappointed to find they had the compact version and not the carry pistol I was looking for. Due to the exceptional variety of pistols in stock and an open mind to function and reliability over personal preference of manufacturer, I ended up purchasing the SIG P365. I didn’t leave feeling disappointed or second guessing my purchase at all. The salesmen aren’t pushy and SIG just about sales itself. Both men behind the counter seemed pretty cool and very knowledgeable of firearms. I would use this location again if I find myself in the market.

Just went by there. 1050am on a Wednesday. 2 people left as I was pulling up. Went to door and rung the doorbell and no one came to the door. Waited long enough to decide to spend my money elsewhere. I came home and read the reviews from others. I dont think it has to do with race. Im white, and seems like other people of all races have negative reviews of this place.

I walked into the store and got an immediate dirty look from the gentleman working at the counter. I came in and hopes to look at one of the new Springfield hellcat handguns or a Springfield saint rifle. a gentleman working behind the counter seemed fed up with the elderly gentleman he was helping at the register. He took a pause between helping the elderly gentleman to ask me what can I help you with very rudely when I told him the two guns that I was interested in he immediately said aint got them might have a hellcat next week. When I asked him the price of the hellcat he said I dont know as if it was an inconvenience to ask. I immediately left the store feeling confused because I have only ever been in here one time before and it was bustling with business and everyone was polite. Not sure if today was just a bad day or bad time regardless the rude customer service was uncalled for.

The store clean and well designed. They have a great variety of quality firearms and accessories in stock... especially the Sig Sauer brand. If youre wanting to compare Sig models you definitely need to visit these guys. The staff there didnt try to pressure you into buying anything. They did take the time to learn what youre looking for and then patiently show what they have that matches your wants... and answer any questions you might have about the specs and expectations of each firearm. If youre in the market for a firearm or shooting supplies i recommend you check these folks out.

Walked in greeted the guy with a good afternoon and he ignored me I Did not feel comfortable in this store! Guy seemed Very racist! I wouldnt recommend for African Americans period! Im not one to give bad reviews but I call it like I see it!

I just called to price ammo. The guy who answered the phone was quite rude, as apparently calling to price merchandise is a problem for him. I asked for the price of ammo for .38 and .375, which he provided. Then I asked for the price of shotgun shells he sighed and rudely replied I have customers in here. This is the last price Im going to give you! Well that is a great way to drive business to your store. Dont bother!! You will not get my business!

Came in here to look for some parts for two different guns (no luck), the guy behind the counter acted like I was the biggest inconvenience of his life on both occasions! Would not even look at me when I was talking to him, new level of disrespect! Gentleman that was on the floor was a little nicer but not enough for me to come back!

Been there several times to look around and to buy ammo. They have a broad selection of pistols in all calibers. Many of the guns are usually only available online. Excellent selection of ammunition at decent prices. Very attentive and knowledgable. Ill be back.

The older gentleman behind the counter was extremely short, not very helpful and when I tried to talk to him he refused to make eye contact and treat me like I wanted to bring my business to this store. I had high expectations coming here, but to be totally honest, I’ll make sure I advise friends to stay away.

First store we have walked in that someone has taken the time to help. They were very knowledgeable and listened to what I was looking for and pointed me to the perfect gun for me.

I’m a person of color and was looked at and treated in a very uncomfortable manor until I asked about a certain expensive firearm. Once he figured out out I had already owned one and he wouldn’t be able to sell me one he went back to the same treatment and look on his face. Literally not joking I checked the reviews to see if other ppl had similar experiences and GUESS WHAT lol.

If I could give them zero stars i would. They have VERY Poor custom service, no one asked to assist me or my boyfriend, and when I finally got their attention they kept making smart remarks like you cant play with guns they are not a toy I am a grown woman, it is not necessary to talk to me like a child. They were also discussing other customers in a negative manner, which is probably why they didnt have time to assist us. Then he proceeded to tell my boyfriend he doesnt know if hes a good guy or a bad guy... Im not sure what that means but all of my friends and family who have shopped here before BOTH WHITE AND BLACK have been informed and have expressed that they will never be back and they will make sure they tell everyone they know as well. Cherrys fire arms are DEFINITELY better, I would recommend cherrys over them

I called Greensboro Guns & Ammo to find out whether they had a particular item in stock and the guy who answered started saying no before I could even finish asking the question. When I tried asking if he knew when they may get it, it was the same thing. These things are hard to come by these days, I get it, but they were not very friendly or helpful. Not even sure my experience was deserving of 2 stars but they did at least answer the phone.

Greensboro guns and ammo was the gun shop my wife and i choose to make our first firearm purchase at. Let me tell u the guys at this shop are highly respectable and highly knowledgeable. We purchased an Ar-15 that they had just recently put up for sale that day that had so many upgrades done to it that at the price they gave it to us for it was an offer you couldn’t refuse. On top of that they made sure to care of us to ensure we had everything we needed to complete our purchase and be happy safe firearm owners. What attracted me to this store was they didn’t post pictures of their inventory and the sign posted on their door about pulling your pants up and showing some self respect, this alone had me feeling like this was the place to go to first and I’m glad i did! Thank you Greensboro guns and ammo mysef and my wife will be back to make another purchase soon.

I think this place may have gone out of business. I went by at 2pm on a Saturday, door says they’re open until 3, and the door was locked.

My brother-in-law and I popped in for a quick look when I first moved to the area. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and not pushing to make a sale. The selection of fine firearms and accessories is second to none!

Have all the documents for purchase firearm for home protection purposes, walk in to this place. One of the worst store experience I ever had, refusing service to non-citizens costumer. Quote :” I know there’s a way but I don’t want to do the paperwork.” Thank you for your business.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. I did not feel pressured to make a purchase. Ultimately I did. I could not decide between two different pistols. The salesman took a lot of time with me made suggestions to find the perfect fit for me. We will buy from them again.

Spent the better part of an hour in this store getting to know the guys in here and they showed me the guns they had with my criteria .super knowledgeable about everything in their store. Definitely will be going back!

I’m big on customer service when it comes to spending money with businesses. I called to see if they carried a certain firearm I was looking for and after telling me they didn’t carry the brand before I could even ask about another brand the salesperson hung up on me. That’s just bad my business in my opinion.

Dont seem to like dark skinned folks too much. Laid out the red carpet for the lady before me, but when I came in it was you got 5 minutes. Also came out the door stood beside it for a few minutes with hand on gun...Im a disabled vet...dark skinned is not equal to criminal.

Selection is phenomenal, quite a few guns that I’ve only ever seen in pictures that were in the store. If you’re looking for a Colt snake gun, these guys have an entire case!Where the store loses a star, though, is with their customer service and pricing. Not the best pricing I’ve seen on “run of the mill” guns. As for their customer service, even though I was one of only a two/three people in the store, I wasn’t given much attention. The employees seemed more interested in speaking with their regulars/friends, than a first time customer.

Worst experience Ive ever had in a gunshop. Two old dudes sitting behind the counter wouldnt even acknowledge that my wife and I were there. The bald headed one turned his back to us and kept watching us through a security monitor. I said really loudly to my wife several times, I really like that gun. Hoping he would ask me if I would like to see something. He never did. They need to work on their manners. Prices are not so good either. If you see a good review on here, I can guarantee its a family member, or someone they know really well. These guys are not friendly at all. We left with a pocket full of money, went and bought a PPQ at GunRack in Kernersville NC. Very friendly people!! Just a few miles down the road.

Prices are a little high. You can get same firearms online for much cheaper. Customer service wasn’t that great, it was at first when they tried to push a sale on me!!!

1 star is to much...Real nice place but service sucks unless you purchase a over priced item from them. Wants to charge $200 for FFL transfer on top of the $200 tax stamp just to help fill out paperwork. Unless of course you buy it from them at $200 more than online dealer he buys his from..understand you got to make money but thats just wrong. Good luck here..I guess moving and changing names from Archdale changed their prices and character. Forgetting the little people that got him to where he is now. Shame shame.

These guys really know their stuff. They have an excellent selection, and the store is nicely organized.I like shopping local, but gun stores can have a tendency to be staffed with people who think they know more than they do or are just looking for the sale. Not so here. Theyll present you the options available and let you make your choice. Theres also none of the bravado and sensationalism you get at many LGS.The best part is the one stop service for NFA items. Everything from fingerprinting and photos to paperwork. Ill definitely be buying from them in the future.

If your looking for higher prices, and a bad attitude, then this is the place for you.

I went in there and spent an hour picking his brain and have him do a specialized service and then they wouldnt sell to me for the same as some online store that I just click and buy from. ONE STAR!! Ridiculous. They have a lot of nice, high end stuff. The owner knows his merchandise. Where else, especially in Greensboro, would you find a collection of Pythons, silencers, high end optics, and experience like this? Its not for everybody, but neither is a Porsche. Just dont go to the Porsche dealership with your Honda Civic budget and complain about the prices...or the lack of attention. Funny how people dont expect the same level of conversation and help from Amazon as they do from the LGS, but then expect Amazon prices at the LGS. If youre looking for knowledge and an unusual selection, give these guys a chance. If youre just looking to kick some tires and drool, watch Youtube or join an online forum.

Absolutely the best service in Greensboro, multiple selections on all firearms and great customer service very open minded and don’t discriminate, this is the store to go to.

Highly aggressive staff. I picked up a flashlight to look at (not a firearm) and the man at the counter became seriously aggressive.

I went in looking for parts for a G19 after going to a few other LGSs with no luck.So I go in and ask if they had the parts and ofcourse the answer was no.BUT one of the guys said he had them at home and actually came and met me after work to give me the parts I needed.I will certainly be back.Thanks again!

So my experience with the surrounding gun shops have not been great to say the least ...... from not in stock, to excuse me can I see this gun and I get a look like I just ask if I can kick you in the nuts . To walking around the whole store and not getting one how can I help you, or any brand you looking for in particular? ..... but let me tell you Greensboro guns and ammo was great !!!! First thing first they had my gun in stock also they price matched knowing I cait get the gun anywhere else without waiting 8 months plus . I was greeted by an employee within 5 seconds of walking in the store 20 seconds later I had a gun in my hand being told details . This place is awsome ... it goes without saying that I bought my gun I wanted (browning xbolt medallion) love it!!! Great costumer service great selection no bs .... O and when I walked out the door the owner rick stopped me and gave me a browning rail mount for my gun for free!!!! And said come back and see us soon here’s a gift for shopping with us ... I’ll be back
