JS,This is the quickest turn-around time Ive ever experienced. Ive ordered 9 alternators in the last 10 years and you just smoked the competition! You build a solid product and the 3 previous alts Ive gotten from you are working flawless.

I bought a 410 amp alternator for my daily driver. Originally on the website it said it would take 5-10 business days which I was okay with. Later getting an email for 15-25 business days just to process the order. It has been over a month since I ordered. I have tried messaging on social media, emailing them and even text messaging. No response. Commented on social media posts just to have it deleted. All I need is an update because I have been out of work. So here I am reaching out through reviews as the last option. If it’s going to take another month to receive I need to know and I’ll just go spend money on a temporary alternator which I would have liked to avoid doing. You guys need to hire someone just for customer service cause I am sure your alternators are great quality.

I could not find anyone to build a 300 amp alternator for a nissan versa but J.S. did it no problem,got it in about 10 days and it works great,i am charging at 14.8v and my amp couldnt be happier, thank you guys sooo much you saved my build and now i can go futher and go biggggg,lol

Ive purchased my alt in past had good things to say. Now having to send it in for general repairs nothing they did... But this places customer service is ABSOLUTELY trash!!! I sent my alt for repairs was told it needed rectifier and bearings replaced, paid the money as soon as the invoice came with no hesitation! My alt was received sept 15, i had to reach out to them to make sure they got it, i waited for the confirmation. Had to check back next day to ensure it was there. They told me the issues, and i paid invoice asap. Sept 23 i emailed for an updated, was told it should be shipping back sept 24. Sept 28 i emailed for update got no reply, again sept 30 got a reply they were checking for them to not give me a update. Oct 2 i check in yet again no reply oct 4 i get an answer, saying they getting it ready still! And trying to ship with next shipment.... Well oct 6 i check in again and i realized how sept 23 it was supposedly ready and message them that and still have no reply... Go figure... In addition when i sent my alt, it was a box on a box everything wrapped in paper and bubble wrapped. Also included a note of the proper shipping since i moved. Also emailed them this info to make it very clear!!!! Guess where they sent the alternator... You guessed it the wrong damn address/location...so not only do they halfway provide customer service unless you reach out they are incapable of following shipping address updates when given to the twice. So now i wonder if i will get my alternator... This is first and last time ever ordering from them and id advise you to also look elsewhere for your needs.. This place has a long way to go and i will not be using them for future business or sending customers to them in future as a recommendation.... JS get it together...your customer service is absolutely horrible it may be about time to get someone to handle your emails and open your phone back up because this has been an absolute nightmare... Buyer BEWARE!!!

PLEASE READ WHOLE REVIEW. If you are looking for a high amp alternator a JS alternator is a good one to buy from my experience. When I ordered my alternator after doing ample research I narrowed it to a few choices and decided to go with JS. My alternator did take about a month to receive and to me that is fine. My car was a old Honda so I had to wire in their alternator in place of my old one which I was able to do with a little trial & error. Then I had to find a proper belt since the alt pulley diameter is not the same as my old one. In my experience Ive had the alternator for going on 5 months and it was not a simple remove and reinstall BUT the alternator worked well so it doesnt bother me as much. Long story short if you do not want to wait and are not able to find proper belt tension and understand pulley ratios or find someone that is very good at it because there is not much leeway its either right or it wont work properly then you might want to look elsewhere. But the alternator did as advertised with no issues after a little head scratching so I give it a 👍👍

We ordered an alternator that supposedly they had available and 3-4weeks they sent us wrong fitment. Now its been another 4 weeks and we have called and emailed several times with no answers or replies. Simple communication would be nice with todays technology it can be done 24/7 but all I see is fb posts and live videos of orders going out. Hopefully someone who gives a sh#t sees this and calls us back.

I have purchased 3 alternators from them. They all work as they should. Shipped in 3 weeks. No issues. I seen alot of people saying theirs didnt work, but I believe that is user error. Wired it wrong, or didnt change their belt. Same people that will clip subwoofers or pull wires loose on an amp while its powered up and then blame the manufacturer for the users error. JS Alts does exactly what it is supposed to. Will definitely purchase from them again.

I had some issues that were COMPLETELY MY FAULT. It was challenging to get a hold of somebody, but they are SUPER busy with stimulus orders and tax season orders. At any rate, the owner of the company reached out to me last night, even after hours, and all is well! They really do make a fabulous product. I cant wait to have Js alternators powering my limitless lithium banks! Watch out competitors! Like He Man I have the power!

I must have been given the wrong wiring schematic. The alt wont charge. And trying to get information from JS is like pulling nose hairs from a hog. Aint gonna happen. They REALLY need customer service help. I should have gone with mechman.

Don’t reply hardly refuse to call and speak to you didn’t supply the right application the first time sent back asked to fix and send me back and still no reply and no new tracking number. Will be file complaint with bank this week come Tuesday! I’d rather went somewhere else

So far JS Alternators has responded quickly to all of my questions, they have went far and beyond to give me exact information on what I need to upgrade to this alternator and put it into my 13 Chevy Malibu. I’ve looked on YouTube and their products seems to be amazing! I’ll keep you updated with progress.

This company customer service is just awful. 1st they send you wrong fitment of alternator then on top of it send the wrong wiring schematics. They say to connect 2 wires when clearly the car requires 3 oh lets not forget they send a 4 wire pigtail to connect the alternator too 🤦🤦🤦🤦. Then when you try to contact them they dont return your call they just send you the wrong wiring diagram all over again. We did everything to their specifications turn the car on with a fully charged battery and watch the volts just drop with a volt meter. Do your research before you order from this company seems like they dont wanna offer no help . They get -1 out of five stars from me. 1st and last time this entire situation makes me feel like I should of went with a mechman alternator.

After i put a 1/2 shorter belt on, it worked perfectly for my car. It has been running flawlessly for my Honda civic 2011 coupe and performing as expected with no issues whatsoever! Junk. No customer service at all. The blame was put on the idle of my car. Sent proof it malfunctions with the rpm at 3k and then was ignored.My 90 amp factory alternator worked better than their hi amp 270 amp alternator. I will be taking it to a local company to hopefully fix this.Please, spend a little extra and go to a legit company.If I got a legit solution and/or refund of some sort I would change my review but customer service is absent. Im disappointed.

I cant say enough. Alternator arrived quickly, when I ran into a hiccup with a broken connector, they sent me a replacement at no charge, and trust me I had a million questions, and whoever I was communicating with answered every single one and I never felt like I was a pain in the a$$. Once installed, and WIRED CORRECTLY, as per sheet supplied, it worked as advertised. Would recommend a thousand times. I bet half the bad reviews are from ppl who created their own problems at no fault to these guys.

Ordered my alternator a week before Christmas 2020.They emailed to confirm my address in Hawaii. I emailed back and they responded quickly.There so great they shipped out my made to order alternator on New Year’s Eve. I received it on the 4 of January 2021. It came with everything I needed. I just got my alternator for my 2012 Xterra. It took about 3 weeks to get here, but they made that very clear on their website. The instructions were a little confusing, however I got a really quick reply through email to remedy the questions I had. So far the alternator works great, my car idles alot better now. Its also nice not to have the annoying noise that my old alternator was creating due to a bad bearing. I got the 250 amp version for my car. Im not sure how to accurately check it to make sure its putting out 250 amps max. Im a computer guy, not a car guy. But what I do know is that it works and my car is performing better. So thanks!👌

My husband ordered a new alternator at the beginning of March. Its now April 12th and he hasnt received anything. He left a review after not getting any response when asking for a tracking number, and was met with a nasty email from someone that was from the company. His tracking number on UPS website says UPS is still waiting to recieve the item to ship. We decided to investigate and found that the address listed for the business is someones home, and the phone number listed is either fake or a voip. Whoever runs this so-called company is scamming people, buyers beware.

Trying to get ahold of them for months.. They only repied 2 times and they wont sell me an alternator because they would rather ignore me. I called and sent Facebook messages, text messages and emailed them multiple times begging them to take my money but I would have better luck flying like Peter pan.

I will detail a full review and change the stars once I recieve the alternator. I gave 3 stars because I recieved an email updating me after 3 weeks of waiting. Im told my alternator will arrive by next week 3/26 once its in my hands, Ill leave a full complete review on my experience and overall quality of the alternator. I wont write anything til then, just to be fair to this business...however I will say, JS has responded to All emails and have gone above with a refund for the inconvenience due to parts being backordered...so its not entirely their fault, but made up for it, so Im grateful. My alternator will shipout soon!*3month update*This alternators a beast! The experience from the purchase was a bit stressful, but they honestly made up in every possible way and Im completely satisfied! I install for a living and theres nothing worse then not having enough power to run all my accessories, so between the 390 amp upgrade and my d3400 series battery also with the big3 upgrade is a game changer! I have a 2003 Denali with a big system and countless accessories! I have zero issues with load drops! This alternator was tested twice, by myself and through my mechanics shop and their specs are 100 percent legit!

Only one Ill ever get my high output alts from. Hes always helped when someone needs help with their alt. Its definitely a great selling point for me. Ive had numerous alts through him for either customer builds or for my own. I had one issue and it being my fault because I didnt specify charge voltage. Swing by popped a hot alt off he swapped regulators back on and charging the right way. Keep it up man 👊

Most of those positive review mostly its fakes. Got one high voltage alternator from them for my G35, straight out of the box its too high causes with voltage and even checked by pro tech and found out its just their product internal voltage regulator itself is bad, caused burned slowly one by one on my fuses from these JS high voltage regulator. I ended up switch back to OEM alternator and car running so fine now. No more passing 15.6 volt. The proper spec was supposed to be 14.6 or alittle lower not a problem. And I getting from my OEM now. This China product from this Company is a joke. I wasted almost $500 just to straight out of the box broken/improper product junk. Be aware, I DO NOT recommend this product. Horrible customer service aswell. After you paid out their respond is nowhere to be found. They only quick when they see your moneys or a sign you interested to waste your moneys.Responding to your reply: You are mistaken me with whoever because you did not helped corrected any wiring and helped to 14.6v, I said I replaced with OEM alternator now is why its running properly. Please dont try to take credit when knowing I no longer continued with your product. Consider I got screwed n those cost are gone, not to mentions labor cost ontop of your alternator. We tried to reach up to you but customer service suck cant reach anywhere. Just know we tested the alternator itself alone and its completely bad. wiring was pretty straight forward base on the instructions but w.e causes the voltage regulator in your alternator turned bad right out the box like that, I dont know. It just turned out junk that fast reading high voltage as soon car turned on.

I ordered an alternator I was worried it was even going to come because I never ordered before well it did come and the box was a little damaged I was worried and when I opened it I noticed one of the plastic pieces around the power stud were broken and bent UGH so I emailed them and to my surprise they responded quickly so I was thrilled, I quickly received a replacement part THAT DOESNT EVEN FIT!!!! And now they won’t respond to my emails. Needless to say I’m not satisfied. Poor poor poor customer service. Never ever again!!!!

Power regulator stopped working 1 month after i got it. contacted them... pretty much nothing. wont even respond. DEF do not waste your money on these clowns. Should of just got the MECHMAN these guys are trash.I sent an email under Chefvincent49 i will change this if you can take care of this.

I had issues with my ‘16 R/T Charger’s factory alternator not being up to snuff (the headlights would dim whenever you turned the steering wheel or when the sub hit).I switched to JS’s 250amp alternator...the sound system was noticeably improved without a cap and the voltage is far more stable.

Been a Over a year since I purchased an alternator and it did not fit. They responded to me once or twice and stopped. They confirmed make and model before shipping and was still incorrect. Has been year since they stopped responding and I’m now I’m sitting on a $350 paper weight. Buyer beware.Update 8/9/20. Was sent an email after leaving the original review on 7/24/20 apologizing for the mixup and that they were going to send me a return shipping label. I replied after a week of waiting and not receiving anything and let them know. It’s now been two weeks and Still no return shipping label and no response. This is not how you run a business smh.Update 10/20/20. They received their alternator back at the end of August 2020. I wrote back to them on September 9th confirming that they received the alternator in which they did. They replied September 16th apologizing for the delay and inconvenience and that the new alternator was scheduled to be shipped out that week. Over a month later, still no alternator or any update. The only way I get a response is from these reviews. Send me my money or alternator!

Shipping was fast, even sent back to have tested, had an cpu issue and mechanic insisted the alt wasnt outputting. It was fine, but they received tested and sent back in less than a week. Great fit little to no voltage drop. Only 3 stars because when i delt with customer service ( fb messenger) they seemed annoyed with my questions or were just extremely vague in their answers. Good product, fast shipping, customer service, imo, could use some work.

Had to wait almost two months for alternator and when I got it, they sent me the wrong alternator. I contacted them and they said they would send me a return label. Took almost a month and half to get a return label, if I wouldn’t have contacted them again I probably would have never gotten a return label or replacement alternator!! Super upset with this company

I ordered my red powder coated 400amp alternator and it came in couple weeks if that, but i finally put it in after putting the install off for a month or so and My voltage is a steady 14.9-15v and doesnt move what so ever, its holding up alot better then my mechman and the alternator came with instructions pretty straight forward and was a easy install with 0 problems. il be ordering my 2nd one in a couple weeks for my dual alternator setup. Ordered a 370amp alt powder coated as well and as I recieve the alt straight out the box I had tons of scratches and the plastic casing all around was cracked up and broken. I hit up JS about my order and never got a response... So I decided to let it go and try to make it work its just cosmetic and will happen over time anyway but when you pay alot of money for a alt you want it to be right and if it gets damaged its from what you caused! The alt was clocked differently and would not work for my vehicle so I made a post in a few other pages and finally got a response from someone else hitting him up about what I posted about his company. He was honest enough to get my refund back after a few days after recieving the alt. Atleast I didnt wait a month or two like other who have had this issue. Buy at your own risk some get lucky other dont....... may the luck be with you!

I have been running JS for 3 years now, they always take care of me and build awesome alternators. i will use them for my next spl build.

So far Im not thrilled... I spent $350 on a 320 amp alternator. Does it work...? Couldnt tell you because I cannot install it due to it being incorrect. Ive been trying to contact them for a week via their website and email but there is no phone number to call. However I did FINALLY get a Facebook message response to which they gave me an actual phone number to cal. Which I have 4 times now to no answer and a full voicemail. I bought the alternator because I have a big plow on my truck and the pump quickly overloads the capabilities of the factory alternator. So I end up plowing with low voltage that causes poor lighting and even worse slow wipers!I will update the review if/when I get some assistance on replacing a VERY expensive alternator.**Edit/Update**I unfortunately ended up having to buy a powermaster for my truck. Its only 200amps but it solved the high draw issue I had with my plow. I requested a refund from JS and after explaining the reasons for the request. They refunded me immediately. Shipping and tax included! Because of this I have updated them to 3 stars. And in the future I would give them one more shot. But Id be lying if I said I wouldnt look somewhere else first.But thank you JS for the prompt refund.
