Tried to charge me $550 for a new battery. $550…Had to price check from Autozone; the same brand new battery costs $179. They get their products delivered from Autozone.Price including 75$ labor costs.Managed to get the price down to around $350 including tax, but after noticing the $200 jump and the mood of the conversation changed, I kindly declined.I have come here multiple times the past two years; I got new brakes and rotors, oils changes, tune up. Payed plenty of money for good work. A month ago they tried to charge my girlfriend 200$ for ONE Chevy Cruz tire. A whole set was price matched for less than 400$.Now this. $550 for a new battery that is worth $179 brand new. $75 labor & installation…to put in a battery.I wonder how many people have been taken advantage of financially at this place.Thanks Mr. Tire!

I moved from Raleigh where I had a mechanic that I used for almost 20 years, so my bar is set pretty high for service.I finally needed tires, an oil changes, brakes, and an inspection and I was very hesitant on who to use and spent a lot of time calling around.Mr. Tire was well-reviewed and after my girlfriend used them for her inspection and oil change, O decided to take my car in and I have been extremely impressed.They are fairly priced, they didn’t try and push me to get anything more than what work was needed done, and they were ridiculously fast getting my car in and out. I would highly recommend them and they have my business as long as I’m in Greenville.

I have to go or of town relatively soon so I brought my car in to get the brakes checked, and not only was the booking time agreeable-same day within about 10 minutes of me calling to schedule an appointment- The employees here were great! They were polite and eager to please, Angie the manager up front was super sweet as well! She was wonderfully communicative and personable, she even went the extra mile to get me the lowest price on my repairs. The mechanics at the shop also ran to autozone in order to get a part that they needed rather than ask me to wait a few days For one to be shipped in, like so many other shops have in the past! All in all this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this shop to my friends and family alike!

Needed new tires and brake pads after failing an inspection. These guys were awesome, had me in and out in under 2 hours. The price was incredibly affordable and the customer service was top notch, big shout out to Angie!

Took my mom there to get tires mounted and balanced. She had an issue with them not being balanced. Took it back a week later and they tried to charge her to rebalance the tires. When my father stepped in and explained again that the tires were installed there they agreed to balance the tires or so they said. When they left the same problem persisted so they went to another tire shop and had them balanced and had no issues since. I used to trust these guys with my 3 vehicles and my parents and friends vehicles. I wont go there anymore.

My name is Peggy Wilson and was thinking about the time I made a visit to my Family out of State. I was in NC and I just had my SUV in the garage for a check up before my trip as I had some concern about wheel bearing issue. I was assured that they fixed the wheel bearing but also said the other one may need to get fixed later down the road but it is safe for my trip I was about to take. During my stay in NC I noticed some noise my SUV was making and it actually worried me as I was going to be taking a 12 hour drive back home. I took my vehicle to Mr Tire in NC and explained to them what my vehicle was doing. They took a look at it and then explained to me that is was my wheel bearing. I told them that I just had one side done before my trip. They explained that the other side should have been done as well. Now this was a while ago so I cant remember exactly which side of the tires I needed done, but in the end I was thankful for Corey Jones at Mr. Tire and the great service he provided for me just before I had to take the drive back home. The service they provided to me was very comforting. My trip home was a success without any issues. I would recommend them to family and friends if I lived in NC. Thank you so much Mr. Tire.

This is my second time coming to this Mr. tire. I come for my state inspection and oil change and other needs. So i only come once a year. The first time I came I didnt know what to expect. They were very kind, helpful, and quick I had to come back again this year! The second time around is just the same! As soon as I came in I was greeted and was assisted right away! I have never been so impressed with a business in my life. On my way to work my car died on Memorial Drive and I panicked.. I googled the closest auto service store and Mr Tire was it. I called them to ask if they knew a tow truck company I could use to get my car to their shop. Troy asked me where I was located and after I told him I was down the street in a black Honda Civic he told me to just stay where I was and they would come jump my car so I wouldn’t have to pay for a tow. He walked down to me with some kind jumper cable box but the car still wouldn’t start after he tried. He told me to just hang tight and about 5 minutes later the entire shop came down to push my car back to their store! Both managers and 3 mechanics came, stopped traffic and pushed me all the way down the street! Just to save me a $50 tow! I was so worried about being late to work and once I mentioned that, they offered to take me to work in their shop shuttle. After about an hour they called to inform me that I needed a new alternator, they told me the price “which my dad said was fair” and got my confirmation before doing any work. Once it was finished they came back to get me and my car was good as new! As an ECU student and a girl here by myself, I didn’t know how to deal with the situation I was in and was worried that I would be taken advantage of. Mr Tire went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, informed and taken care of. It feels so good to know that I can go to them and trust them with my car for the next few years while I’m in Greenville.

Courteous and professional on the phone and in person; had an oil/filter changed. Had to show coupon from a flyer received in the mail, to get price lowered from the original quote upon arrival. I reversed my decision to get suspension problem evaluated as it appeared to add $70 approximately, to the quote.In the end I paid $36; ( discount of $15) up from the advertised $19 price. Additional cost of extra quart of oil, used oil disposal and shop supply fee. It took me 3 times asking the same question How much is the total charge for the oil and filter change?. Still looking for a reputable mechanic for evaluation of the suspension as I wasnt sure how I would be charged for a potentially expensive repair. I hope to get straight answers on the the easy and the hard estimates for work to be done.

Told my daughter she needed ball joints and an alignment at the cost of 820 dollars. I told my daughter to bring the car home. Took it to the Chevorlet dealership and low and behold they could find nothing wrong with the ball joints or alignment! So before you get anything done seek a 2nd opinion. Crooks trying to scare a young girl into spending money when its not necessary!!

I have gone here several times for various services (oil changes, new tires, dead battery) and I am consistently impressed with how professional the staff treat customers. Made a quick stop to get my vehicle inspected. I didnt have an appointment but being a tire shop, I assumed was going to take longer. The guy working there was very nice and helped me right away. He suggested it was better to have an appointment and have that time reserved for you, but it was quick and done. It just took around half an hour and I was out of there.
