Went for the first time yesterday and I think his name was Rick or Jack( please forgive me for forgetting) but he was the sweetest and helpful. My daughter enjoyed him showing her a live crab. The fish we got was fresh and delicious. I will definitely be telling friends and family about you all. Great customer service!

I found the place by accident. I am glad I did. Great selection of fresh fish, oyters, meats. They had steamed blue crab, fresh lump crab. I got the Ora King salmon. Incredible. The brisket was USDA Prime.

They are willing to answer any questions, they will weigh something so you can get an idea of if its right for you. They have a great selection of food that is very fresh. I go here any time Im doing a boil and fish fry for large groups. Im glad I dont live closer to them, cause Id go broke! I drive just under an hour one way to visit, and just left there few hours ago.

Youre going to love this place. They make their sausage in-house. It is absolutely delicious. The staff & owners are a delight as they greet you with the largest smiles on their faces. Everyone is very helpful, even with grand fish tales to match. Make sure to call ahead if youre looking for something specific, or just swing by to check out the specials. Prices are decent. Everything is fresh!

We were visiting Greenville for a few weeks over the Summer. We stopped in for some meat and seafood. Our expectations were blown away. The protein and the service was awesome. We bought some of the spices only available at the shop...the coffee rub is incredible. This place is a must if you are in GV.

Pretty good selection of meat and seafood. They scaled and gutted the fish (perch) for us while in store. Shark steaks were good sized and they held up during cooking showing they were fresh and not previously frozen. Snow Crab legs were a little overpriced for frozen but they were a good size- better than most grocery stores. Everything looked great and fresh while I was there and they also have raw milk for sale. I was hoping for farm fresh eggs but they didnt have any on sale.

Been there twice. First time was fine. Second time was on 6/18. Bought some wings, went to prep them this morning (next day) and was greeted by one of the most putrid scents Ive ever had the displeasure of smelling. If you go, stay away from the chicken.

Walked in today 5/25/21 for my first time wearing a really thick mask and a strong rotten smell hit me right away unfortunately still decided to buy a whole chicken and my God when opened it at home it stunk so bad all my kids were covering their nose I had to hold my breath. Paid $15 brand Naked Chicken. Never going back.

Today was my birthday and I decided I either wanted fresh swordfish or a steak. I called first to check availability and pricing and they were over $10 per lb LESS than another local seafood store. When I entered the store the first thing I noticed was it didnt smell like a seaford store and everything looked fresh and mouthwatering. I almost went with the swordfish, until I looked at the rib eyes and it was just a gorgeous piece of meat. Made for a perfect birthday dinner.Very friendly, very helpful. Highly recommend!

Was greeted with a smile immediately upon entering and you can tell the staff are excited for you to get the exact cut you want. Both Steaks & Seafood were displayed neat & uniform with more than enough inventory to satisfy anyones wants. And the range of quality from skirt steak all the way to a Grade 7-8 Wagyu cut (Which is what I left with after brief debate W/the wife) I will be back! Excellent service. I commend and recommend this shop.

I found this place accidentally taking my dog to the vet and stopped in and was astounded at the quality of both the meat and seafood. I’ve now had their ground beef, sirloin,Swordfish, shrimp, halibut, and some chicken which was delicious. I highly recommend it

Great place! Wonderful meat, seafood, eggs, premade soups, house made sausages. Seasonings for grilling. Hard to find varieties of seafood as well! Just everything. And it all looks delicious. Staff was helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back.

Some of the friendliest, patient, helpful people work here. We go in about once a month and get different items to try. From crawfish, steak, shrimp, trout, different sausages, to amish butter. I have never been disappointed with the taste, quality, or service.

We recently moved to the area and used Google to find Hooked. We had a local butcher in our prior hometown and was looking forward to finding a new source of fresh meat and seafood. We grill and smoke several times a week. We were so thrilled to find Hooked. Their selection of meats and seafood was extensive, including wet and dry aged beef and Kobe beef. On our first visit we purchased some steaks, full size ( Texas size ) beef short ribs and pork belly. The quality was outstanding and the owner custom trimmed the ribs for us. The steaks were the best wet aged I’ve had anywhere. They have all the cuts we enjoy cooking and offer many selections you can’t find anywhere else. We will be return customers many times over.

I live in Charlotte and there isnt any decent place where you can purchase live blue crabs. I wanted to find some place closer to me than Charleston. I preordered. The staff was friendly, the store was clean and each crab was alive and kicking. They cooked up well and had a great taste. I will be taking the drive back down to Greenville, SC soon!

Love coming here for fresh meat and seafood. They always have a good selection. Do yourself a favor and call them before if youre looking for something specific. They probably will have it, but if not theyll happily order it for you!

If you have not visited Hooked you are missing out! The guys are great and knowledgeable about what they are selling... I visit at least once a week and have never been disappointed.. give it a try and you will understand what I am saying..

Stopped in last night to get shrimp for hubbys Birthday dinner. Drove 25 min home, when I opened package it was clear the shrimp was no good. It stunk up the whole kitchen, had some yellow goo on it. I was so upset. Called them and the girl never even apologized. Just replied well you can bring it back if you want.really? The place smelled really fishy when I walked in. Fresh fish has No smell!. My biggest issue is she deliberately sold it to me. She had to have smelled it and knowingly let me pay and leave. Word to the wise..this place is expensive.if you buy anything ask to smell it first!..

Glad to have found a spot that sell (live/cooked) blue crabs. The guys there were pleasant to be around, felt genuine and comfortable. Worth the 25 min ride! Kudos to them.

Hooked has an OK meat and seafood selection. Prices are a little high, but in line for a specialty store. I went in to get the seafood needed for a low country boil, but was not able to get everything I needed. They only had about a pound of mussels available and the crab legs were more expensive than at other places. If I was doing a surf and turf cook out, then I think this place has a lot to offer.

The only place we get out meats from anymore. Super friendly staff and good quality meats. Oh and the pre-made burger patties are incredible! Try the smokehouse burger, you wont be disappointed!
