The rudest, ridiculous group of women in “customer service” area! Said would call the police if I didn’t put on mask. I didn’t have one and she said I would have to leave. I said I would wear a mask if they had one but she said they were out. Just trying to drop off modem which they were charging me for. Tyrants!

I am absolutely disappointed about this service . I’m trying to be professional and not cuss on the internet but this is ridiculous. I have had multiple problems at my personal residence and now im having problems with my business residence . I’m about to take the next step cause their messing with my money and just leave Suddenlink in all . Whatever you guys go do not . I REPEAT DO NOT have suddenlink as your provider .

If possible, I would award less than one star. Technical assistance is beyond frustrating as you must often speak with agents who do not speak clear English and who apparently operate from a script - despite what your issues or questions are, they proceed with the script peppering it with overuse of your name or phrases like Maam while time ticks away and you remain on the phone - with unresolved issues. Additionally, the prices creep up month after month as deals expire. You then have to telephone, remain on seemingly endless hold and navigate another script to negotiate a better rate. After four years and endless hours on the phone, I have chosen to cancel altogether and would recommend that others not begin the nightmarish journey of Suddenlink Cable.

I always hear people talking about being told one monthly amount and receive a bill for a different amount but I now know they were telling the truth. They tell you incorrect things on the phone and people in the office says they cant make changes to your account. I have received 3 different bills with 3 different amounts smh.

Again like many other reviews if possible I would give less than 1 star. I just moved to NC and heard Suddenlink was known for their internet speed. After two months of billing I noticed I was being charged for a different amount and what seems to be like an entirely different account all together. I have been on the phone with customer service twice now and see no refunds or explanation regarding my account. On top of that I just received a bill for 300 dollars in the mail including an 80 dollar service charge in which the technician initially never showed on the original day scheduled and insisted it would be no charge. Horrible experience and that’s coming from a guy who never makes a negative review. Make this right Suddenlink.

This is absolutely absurd. I have never experienced customer service so bad!! I moved to Florida from North Carolina a few months ago. Before I left, I dropped off my modem, and now I am getting a $100 charge on my account for not dropping it off. There is NO way for me to get in contact with the Greenville store. No email, no direct line, not even a social media. I literally live a 13 hour drive away from the store and the customer service guy (at their customer support general number, the only one I can find) just told me I need to go to the store to talk to them?? After telling him I live in Florida now he said “there’s no other way.” HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?? Horrible, I don’t understand how it’s even possible to not have a direct phone number.

I’m not sure who holds the black mail picks but someone is allowing sudden link to hold a monopoly in the Greenville NC area…I travel allot and in my 30 years on the road I can’t recall a worst service…with all that said get ready to bend over and take it cause they are the only game in town….the service works when it wants which isn’t very often…like I said before they seem to be the lesser of the available evils so I can’t refer another service simply cause there are none!

I would not recommend Suddenlink to anyone. They are crooks that wants to over charge you for horrible services. I have had issues every since I started with them. Constantly having to call for a tech to come out and many times the tech doesnt show up or they cancel my appointment without me even knowing. I have recently cancelled the cable portion of my service because they want fix the issue and they dont want to credit me for the services not used for months. When I tried to reason with them they said I cant get credit because the issue was not resolved but they are the ones that want resolve it. I then cancelled my cable to just the internet service and since then my internet now keeps popping off unexpectedly all throughout the day. I just cant deal with them anymore. Searching for a new service provider as we speak. Poor customer service...

This place is beyond awful. Made a payment to get my service connected, had the receipt and everything. However, after returning home for 3 hours, still no internet. Called customer service and they told me Nothing we can do, you have to drive back to the store and show them the receipt. They will turn it on then.Inconvenient but whatever. I drove up there only to find out theres was nothing they could do. Or at least thats what the first clerk said. After asking some questions, the manager stormed over and immediately started giving me attitude as if I was in the wrong for expecting to have internet when I paid for it.After asking her some questions and receiving nothing but attitude back, she promptly said Well cut it on for you, and turned away as if that was it. Well, here I am, 4 hours later. With no internet. Customer service involves more than lying to your customers just to get them out of your store. Really great example your manager is setting.

Horrible Customer Service, always have to call for them to lower bill that climbs every three months and just doing that is a fiasco and always a pain. Most always rude and never can accommodate for existing/faithful/long term customer. Dont even waste my time at the Greenville Office, even more rude in person associates. I am searching for another option so I can cut the ties and may even go without just so I wont have to deal with this pain. I dont usually complain but they are absolutely ridiculous. How are they even in business? Greenville should be big enough to have other options. Dont even deserve a star rating but have to select so I can hit post.

Do not go through Kim or Sandy at Suddenlink. We didn’t want cable services and they were still brought to our house. I told the man setting up to not bring it in because we didn’t approve of that service. They even tried to tell me that my mom called them and said to add on cable. They were obviously lying and trying to manipulate me. Anyways been a few weeks still can’t get in contact with anyone to cancel cable for us when we don’t even have the cable box in our house. Some people need a lesson on consent. No means no .....

I have been dealing with the installation issue since last Thurs 7/22/21. I was scheduled between 2pm-5pm. Well I get a phone call at 5 pm saying that I need to reschedule bc COD hasnt been paid. That was a lie because my bank statement showed it was already cleared. I call customer service and get someone in New York who doesnt sound like its really his name. There information was not the same between each dept that they kept transferring me to. I was now scheduled for the next day. They came on Friday and didnt install everything. So on Sat we rescheduled at the office in Greenville but they dont have access to all of our info that the headquarters in New York has, according to the customer service rep. We were now scheduled for this Tues but got a message on Sunday that we are scheduled for Monday. Its a circus at this place and Im experiencing this with just trying to get my service installed!! Customer service, sales reps, and their contract installers are not on the same page and its getting worse. They are suppose to be communication experts and they arent communicating within their own organization. Very frustrated customer!!!!!

If I could rate less than one star, it would be -3 stars. That is how dissatisfied I am with my service. I’ve been with Suddenlink since July 2021, from the start of services I had connection issues with my internet going out AT LEAST every 5 minutes. I would get emails stating that they are “doing work in my area to improve services, expect brief interruptions”. Well the not so brief interruptions went on for weeks before I decided to call. A technician was sent out, potential charges were not explained to me. The new tech stated that the installing technician did not connect the equipment properly. Yadda yadda yadda…the connection was fixed…YAY! Then unbeknownst to me, I get slapped with a fee for a technician “fixing” equipment that was not installed properly initially. I called to dispute the charge and was told that because the way “the service codes” were entered the fee could not be waved. I asked to speak with a supervisor, who “explained” everything really fast. Basically there was nothing he could do, except flag my account to “prioritize” me for future promotional deals. I’m so excited to potentially….maybe…possibly receive $10 off my monthly bill for 3 months 😑. If it wasn’t for Suddenlink literally being the ONLY internet provider in my area, I would switch…hands down no questions asked. THE worst customer service ever!!! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT choose them as your provider.

Suddenlink installed internet at my residence on 08-13-21 and it is still not working (08-22). It has literally never worked. I have called and discussed with customer support at least 20 times and have had two technicians out to trouble shoot, each time I am threatened with a $60 service fee until it has been confirmed by the technician. I work from home and there is no end in sight. Might be the worst customer service tho exist. I hear Metro Net is coming to town soon and I can not wait. Steer very clear of Suddenlink if you can, they are awful.

Very poor service. The service for phone/internet/and cable is out often. i can be talking on the phone and the call drops along with the internet and the cable. The cudtomer service reoresentatives tell me the same thing every time I call, Unplug the modem. The issue is not resolved. They then send a technician who tells me the same thing every time. The problem reoccur before the technician leaves my subdivision. DISGUSTED!!!

I have never had such a bad experience with a cable provider. Poor customer service and dont even think about calling. After a 45 minute phone call, I was rewarded with a dropped call. If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor and get CenturyLink and DirecTV.

Suddenlink has been great for us in terms of speed and actual internet performance. Unfortunately, their business practices put a serious stain on their service. They actually told me they raise prices the longer you are a customer. In my opinion, a quality business should reward long term customers with benefits not punishments. Excited for more competition with net neutrality.

AMAZING SO HAPPY! Just moved out to Greenville and I had got century link first they never showed up to install I’m a full time student and need wifi ! I called everyday for 2 weeks straight nothing ever worked. I finally called SUDDEN LINK ! They came out and installed in two days so happy should’ve chosen them first ✨👏🏼Yes I’m so super happy right now cause I haven’t had internet in over a month but sudden link was there in two days❤️✅!!!!

Sitting here and there now 30 minutes late to the second scheduled internet installation. Been on hold that entire thirty minutes. I google their reviews and apparently this is the case for everyone. I feel bad for the workers Bc I’m assuming people can be mean upon when the finally arrive, but something this bad goes all the way up to upper management. Have brand new service and for two + weeks the internet has not worked. Four service techs came out and told me that we weren’t getting a signal to our house and there was an open work order to get that fixed. Today the techs came and fixed the feed to our house, but the modem still won’t work. I called and was informed that a service tech is not available, but that my problem will be fixed by a internal team sometime in the next 24 to 48 hours. If that doesn’t work, I should call again. We just started with Suddenlink and we’re one step away from ending this mess. If you have another option, seriously consider it. When these guys get some competition there going to lose a lot of business.

I’m giving two stars generously because the service technicians and in store staff are wonderful. However, anyone over the phone is AWFUL. When we first set up things with Suddenlink at my house I provided our own modem and router. When the very kind technician installed everything he accidentally left the Suddenlink router and modem still unopened in the box in our house. I didn’t want to be charged for it so I called Suddenlink and asked if the same technician could swing back around and get it. The very rude lady on the phone told me that the technician could not come back and pick it up and that I would be charged for the unopened unused router and modem for this month and would continue to be charged for it until I brought it back to the store. I wasted my entire lunch break plus some driving across town to correct their mistake. Thankfully once in store the man that helped me was very kind.

Satellite is not good it goes out easily in bad weather so that kinda puts a monopoly on the industry! Of course, Suddenlink being suddenlink, I was charged a hidden fee due to an adjustment in my service type. I cant say Im surprised at this point. I called on 4/20/21 when I still lived in Boston ma to start service on 5/7/21 for my apartment in Greenville nc when I got my first bill I am being charged for the past residents bill I have reach out many times to try and get this figured out with no help! My wifi has been turned off and I need this figured out we can’t be without wifi my wife works from home, on 5/7/21 I waited around all day for the tech to come and ge never showed I called them and they said that the appointment was canceled and no one called me. The following day 5/8/21 the tech showed up late and got everything hooked up. The sale lady has been the only nice part of this experience as she’s been trying to help figure this all out. 1/5 I wouldn’t recommend to anyone at this point.

But if you say you wanna cancel then they will transfer you too a canceling department with someone local to talk to. They will help you out right away with no troubles at all. Ive been with suddenlink for a year and live in the middle of Ayden. I began having trouble around February of 2021 called had an appointment with a tech but the tech never showed. Called again let them know the tech didnt show they rescheduled to look at my service because I was pay for 1 gig but was only getting 113mps speed. They tested replaced router still didnt fix problem. I called again another 3 times which they came out three diffrent times and finally on third time which this was may 2021 found my wire going to pole was dry rotted so they replaced it. Then I called to ask to get compensated for the months I was paying 100.00 for service and wasnt getting what I paid for and they wouldnt do anything about it. Does anyone know what I should do or who I can call to get this situation fixed.....

After approximately 8 years with suddenlink, Ive had enough!! From their pushing strategies saying I was over my data limit, which I wasnt. The slowing down of my service to get me to upgrade! In the end i had intermittent internet. My service would go out by schedule. I would be without service for 8 hours or more daily. One representative would say there was an outtage and another would sY there is no outtage. I really became fed up with the dishonesty and right out deception. In the end the retention department pulled out all the stops for me to stay. Lilly offered me everything but her body! All the things they should have done all along. Somehow, I had no cofidence they could deliver what she offered because at the time they could not deliver what I was paying for. Im not alone in my displeasure with suddenlink. There are class action law suits everywhere! I had made an attempt to describe what Ive endured. How about the time there contractor disconnected my internet and i called immediately and i was without internet for days. SMMFH. It sickened me everytime i wouldtry to use my internet service and it was not there. My telephone and TV streaming, zoom calls could not be accomplished. I could go on but Im tired and need to move on.

Would give negative stars if possible !!!! Paying for 1 gig internet and only get 5 to 20mbps 90% of the time. Have had a tech to the house 4 times and with in 30min of them leaving speeds go from 800-900mbps to 5-20.. not sure what the deal is but every time they remote reboot the modem soon as tech leaves speeds drop

I moved to another location and according to Suddenlink that you can keep your old phone number (October,2020)...first the phone number was moved which took several weeks to be done (November 28,2020), then once the number was ported over to the new location...Suddenlink disconnected the old number (January,2021) and tried to give me a new number...for several months I have talk to every customer service representatives to resolve the issues...Finally with no cause my service was disconnected completely (April 2021)....The technicians are mostly incompetence (Technician didnt know what a RJ11 Jack was) as well as the customer service representatives (not professional or knowledgeable about the working in resolving any issues)..too much to write about the Worse Company Ever...This company needs more competition to improve personal service and technical support to be more competence...ONLY ONE Cable provider (Greenville, NC and the surrounding Areas)

Due to technical difficulties, my TV stopped working. It’s working now, however, a verbal notification is given when it’s turned on, off, adjustment of volume and channel change.I was informed by a representative, it was done for the betterment of customer service.I find it to be Very Annoying. Typical cable company shenanigans. Unclear billing practices. Youll get an unexpected rate increase out of nowhere. Then youll try to call and get at a minimum, a clear explanation let alone some sort of reduction of your bill, only to completely waste your time and force you to pay the bill. The staff on site and store set up itself are good, which is why SL gets 2 stars instead of one. The tech services to deal with on phone are set up horribly. And the tech support appt. that you can schedule for home/in field visits, literally the worst experience of service Ive experienced. Over a month of internet service going out, 6 service appointments over a month, for them to come out, spend 4 or 5 minutes, flip something in box on street and techs close ticket. No interacting with them, no way speak to them, because they never came to the house to even check if it was working(one service call the internet didnt even come on) Theyd flip something on in box on street, internet would work anywhere from 5 days down to lasting for two hours before internet would go out again. And 3 of the 6 visits they had us scheduled in a 3 hour window they would be working on our ticket. Those are the visits they require you, the customer to be home. If youre not, theyll charge you $6 dollars for their inconvenience, and youll have to reschedule visit. 6 visits, 3 required me to be home, though I was home waiting for them all 6 times. Not once did a tech come to check in at house. The last 3 hour service call scheduled the tech was a no show (like the other 5 times) and no internet service popping back on without warning (like the first 5 times). Went down to store as calling for service help was useless. Got there, cs op said the tech had closed out ticket as we were talking. I called home to ask if internet was on. No, no it was not. Could the operator to contact tech? Maybe Tell them the service ticket the operator watched the tech close out in real time on the computer screen didnt fix the issue and the internet was still not working? No. Had to make another appt which is always set at minimum two days out. This 27 days into the issue, and 13 days of having no internet. Kids missed two virtual Monday school days that they had to make up. Smfh. It literally took 29 days of frustration for them to actually repair internet and it not cut out again (6 straight days on, crossing fingers).Suddenlink has the worst technical service set up Ive ever experienced. Its an embarrassment if it wasnt such infuriating experience to go through.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have tried to call customer support numerous times but have not had anyone answer the phone. Had to listen to message how all representatives are busy and how I am a valued customer. Nothing could be farther from the truth. One day I decided I was going to wait until someone finally answered. I waited 59 minutes (timed by my cellphone). It sounded like someone picked up on the line then hung up. Live chat is not much better. I have been having problems connecting to internet. The info on the bottom of the modem is different from the available networks on my tvs. I will be terminating service. Now the local office is closed so appears I will have to drive approx. 40 miles to turn in equipment and close acct as cannot connect with a customer rep. Do yourself a favor and go with another service.

Prices are ridiculous!!! The online customer service chat said if I was even 1 day late, it was a $10 fee. Ive always paid my bill, maybe a few days late...but a $10 late fee for being 4 days late is crazy. If you have another option, go with that.

Suddenlink is the worst. Promised service visits repeatedly but none showup. When someone did come, the problem was made worse. If there was a choice, I would switch immediately. And Im paying for 1G, their best, and receiving their worst service. Call Suddenlink for service in NC you get an operator in Texas, and very difficult to understand. That from a communication company.

I wouldnt let them ever put any equipment in my house again you cant get them on the telephone when you do you cant understand what theyre saying they are not attended to your needs when you have a problem they dont direct you to who you need to be directed to still having a problem communicating with them just to resolve charges on my account that I dont supposed to have they wont even answer any type of communication emails replies by phone or by note it was the worst service I ever had I went three weeks with no service and they were charging a fortune for it and it would not discount the weeks that I did not have service I went three weeks at one time altogether I had no service it was worth watching it were cut out in the middle of watching something you couldnt rewind it it look like a crossword puzzle on all my TVs you call them and when they said they would get here they were never on time it would take them forever to get out and never resolve my problems I do not recommend Suddenlink

I wish I could give Suddenlink a 0. The internet service is horrible. I haven’t had good service since the middle of 2020. Last month I finally got fed up with the service and started calling in. You wait on hold for 45 minutes to be told there is an outage. Where is the outage, just my house?Then when your service doesn’t work they still want you to pay full price. I’m so sick of this. I am currently on hold again. This time to cancel. I can’t wait for a better provider to come to Greenville.

They are robbing us blind and I will be so happy when we have more options concerning internet services to come to Pitt County. I will be so glad to say duces to Suddenlink. I pray they humble down and begin to treat us like valued customers. They should give perks to faithful and loyal customers such as myself yet they treat us Dirty and secretly add services we didn’t ask for and when I tried to cancel said extra services they say it will raise the overall price higher than it already is. What kind of math are they using, it just doesn’t add up🤷🏽‍♀️

Not at all satisfied with the service had two appointment as no shows after canceling my appointment for both days. Also Cable was very glitchy and cable cords too short I asked tech to put some length so i could move if i needed toSo update after paying 1200.00 plus dollars for year of high speed internet they still dont want to resolve my issue of reimbursement for three months of poor or no service contacted them numerous times and got no help however they did say they would pay me 50 for my inconvenience which is nowhere near 300.00 dollars.

If I could rate them a zero I would. I called for help with the slow internet and I was sent to a call center to someone that had me do the same thing I already told them I did and kept pushing that I need a technician, because I dont know how to connet things. They claimed to be putting in a ticket, but for what I have no clue, because in a giant called center with a language barrier between us. I dont think either of us understood each other. I kept asking to talk to someone else and they wouldnt give me anyone else. Its extremely frustrating when you cant get the help you expect from a major company. I am now going to look for a different provider in this area. Suddenlink is the worst!

Charged me for a a missed payment even though my bill shows that my accounted was credited. Calls to customer service (3 calls) assured me that it was my fault until they finally realized they charged me for someone else’s account and then credited that other persons account instead of mine. They said it would be removed and gave me some sort of reference number and even got a card in the mail saying my account was credited. In the next bill the same charge was there plus a a late fee. On the fourth call they said I missed a payment and there was no record of my precious calls and they don’t use reference numbers and they don’t send cards. He claims to have sent “a form” the billing department and they would call me in 48 hrs. Have yet to hear from them.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’m constantly calling customer service and on hold for hours at a time for no one to answer. I tried going to the office to resolve my issues but they said I had to call in. That makes no sense they don’t solve any issues they just sign you up?? I only have internet and was told my bill would always be $60 my bill went from 60 to 80 to 94 now to 112! With no explanation as to why or even a notice. This company is horrible. As soon as another viable internet comes to town I’m switching ASAP!

They have a great phone plan! I cant wait to get mine! Soon as youre a customer for 6 months you can get one. I got 2 more weeks to wait lol. Excellent service!
