This is a great place to get ballet shoes and more. I’m a first time dance mom and actually had no idea what to get. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about sizing and what different dance levels may require. I was on my lunch break and didn’t have a lot of time but the ladies took great care of me and quickly.

This place was wonderful. Everything was so neat and organized. It had wonderful people working there, they was ready to help find things, and just to answer questions if needed. To be honest, I cant find anything bad about this place. I will definitely be going back for all my dance needs.

Very knowledgeable and attentive staff. Didn’t have what we needed this visit, but pointed me in the right direction to find what I needed.

Several of my students went in to be fitted for the first time, everything seemed to be in a hurry, around or under 30 minutes for each girl. No one really took a proper look at their feet just tried on a bunch of different shoes, 2 of my students needed spacers between their toes. We found out too late that the pointe shoes were fitted incorrectly one too large and one 2 sizes too small. We were so unimpressed that we drove over 2 hours away to find a more qualified pointe shoe store who spent over an hour with each girl making sure everything worked correctly. We would really love to stay in the area and not drive 2 hours away but I cant have my dancers fitted for pointe shoes incorrectly.

From the time I entered the store the staff was very nice and caring! I would highly recommend shopping here for all your dance needs!

Great place to get quality dance and gymnastic apparel and accessories from people who understand dance. Miss Kay, the owner, is the best! Im so glad we decided to shop here and not online. If she doesnt have it, she will order it.

My daughter found The Sock Basket during Christmas last year. During my visit this week, she took me there. Im an adult ballet dancer and was truly impressed! I will be making a special trip back(4 1/2 hours one way), to be fitted for a pair of Suffolk Pointes! First place I have found that carries them within driving distance! I dont remember her name, but, I loved rhe out going personality/ style of the lady who attended to me! Truly impressed! Thank you for your kind words also!
